Mackworth Balti in Derby

Ordered from here tonight the curry had no chicken in it and the kebab had hummous in it wouldnt even call it food even the dogs left it and thats saying something 🤮🤮🤮

Would give this place zero stars if I could. Placed and order took over an hour to be delivered it arrived cold, burnt and the food was all incorrect. Called to complain and was told everyone that had placed an order had also complained. Staff on the phone were rude and didn’t care to resolve the problem

Loyal customer for years here, no more. The entire order received tonight was wrong and was about as vile as the delivery man's attitude. Th salad was warm and the sloppy dog meat they sent was colder than a wet sock. Avoid this place like the plague because the food is a health hazard. Stay away

I wish I could give minus stars absolutely disgusting not only the food but the staff are rude and abusive when rang to complain wrong food, black cold pizza, and over an hour and a half wait what the hell I’ve been a customer for many years never again

Used Mackworth Balti for years, always been great, what has happened? Foods still okay, but service is shocking, staff are ignorant, can't follow simple orders nor get a delivery correct. Shocking service. Thanks guys

Downloaded the app, placed an order on it for £40.00 and then it told me that I was out of the delivery area in Littleover. Even though they'd delivered here before. Not good!

Poor service. I was blocked for no reason and calls on other devices the number just says user busy. Absolutely poor . I love the food aswell. I’m actually disappointed.

I had a lamb korma and nan from here. I really enjoyed the curry, it was a good consistency and not too watery or oily. The nan was delicious and larger than a dinner plate. Price was good for the quality.

I have never been spoken to, in my life, how a member of the staff at this takeaway spoke to me tonight, the rudest man, all because he said that I shouldn't have ordered delivery because I was too far away (the app accepted my order?) Nobody came to the house, no body knocked on the door yet he said he had tired to ring me from outside my house but my number wouldn't work. very strange. After beeing shouted at for at least 5 minutes by the rudest man i have ever come across we had to go and fetch our food and then they wouldn't refund our delivery charge. Never ever again . Terrible service.

Used mackworth baltinfor delivery 3 times a week. Normally excellent food and service. The last delivery was left outside and crushed (pizza) took it back to shop even though we had ordered for delivery. Staff apologised and organised a second pizza to be delivered. The second pizza was left outside and was soaked when we found it as yet again the inept delivery driver hadn't followed our instructions off original order. Rang shop again and was told "don't worry will give you a free pizza next order". Just rang to place the next order and was told they wouldn't honour this. Staff rather rude on the phone. Needless to say will not be ordering again from mackworth balti.

Not been to Mackworth Balti for a fair few years, great to see its still going and still doing lovely curries. I went with a Chicken Tikka Masala and a Peshwari naan. The Tikka has large chunks of good quality chicken in it and the Masala sauce was very good. I love their massive Peshwari Naans. Very happy with the curry and friendly service. I used their online ordering and collection was ready in about 20mins. Highly recommended.

Have used MB for many years. Always consistent quality. Their Madras sauce is usually excellent but last night I had the best sauce ever. Thank you Ali and well done!

Been using Mackworth Balti since they opened. Ali knows how to look after his loyal customers. You will not find a better takeaway in Derby. Great, fresh quality at ridiculously low prices. What you get for a fiver here, you're paying a tenner for elsewhere and NOT getting the high quality. A well established kebab/pizza/burger/curry house.

Ordered a curry from here last night and was very dissapointed. I use this takeaway regular and have had no issue until last night. Anyway tucked into curry and realised it was watery and had no taste as if they forgot to add the spices. I phoned them back telling them concern. They told me the boss would call me back but never did so i gave to my dog. I would not go here again you tramps

Really nice kebab will be back for another one next time I am up that way.

Amazing food Best in derbyshire

Been visiting this takeaway since it opened, mostly good but when there really busy it can be a disaster as I think they don't have enough drivers for deliverys or sometimes they forget some of the order . 😕 do love there food tho, but when the boss Ali goes on holiday the place is a shambles I'm afraid to say but still give 4🌟 all the same as I'm quite loyal 😕🙈🙊✌
