The free monkey nuts were nice. The food tasted okay but when I unwrapped my burger it looked like it had been run over. The fries were nice but nothing exciting. All in all, very poor value for money.

Food was tasty but the menu is quite limited especially the children’s menu. We had to go searching for staff to take additional orders for drinks despite the pub being quiet. You would expect impeccable service given that you are paying restaurant prices but in a pub setting.

** Last-Minute Letdown - didn’t honor booking** I had a reservation for two at Casa Argentina to celebrate a friend's birthday. Despite confirming my booking through email and receiving a reminder, they canceled it unexpectedly by phone less than 30 minutes before my arrival! When I asked them why, it transpired it was due to a walk-in. It's disappointing when a restaurant can't honor a reservation, especially within short notice and on a busy and rainy Friday night. Won't be returning and wanted to share to save others from a similar experience.

Gourmet Republik has only been open a few months; yet, during that time, they've built up a following that compelled us to give them a visit. The place itself is aesthetically pleasing with impressive decor that includes a uniquely quirky lavatory. The restaurant shows great promise, having certainly nailed the poultry side of things, with superb chicken wings and a deliciously marinated grilled chicken, and some tremendous lamb chops. However, and in our considered opinion, while the burgers were decent, they need some refinement if Gourmet Republik is to seriously challenge the best gourmet Halal burgers currently out there. So friendly and helpful and spoilt for choice on the menu and you even get 2 kinder bueno donuts for the usual price of 1 well worth a visit can't do enough for you lovley owner will be visiting again 😊❤️ xx

La salsa de búfalo es muy buena con patatas fritas y el pollo. Las ofertas eran muy buenas, las patatas fritas bien condimentadas y las bebidas sin fondo. Gran lugar para un bocado rápido y agradable

This used to be my favourite place to go for breakfast and I always recommend it to people. Amazing pancakes and great fried breakfast. Unfortunately I’m not sure what’s happened. We used to walk in be offered a table but no acknowledgement so we sat down and no one came over so I went to order the food at the counter. Firstly the pancakes had been taken off the menu which was very disappointing so we decided to go for the donut breakfast only to be told we couldn’t have that as they had no donuts??? We were in a donut shop and I could see donuts so I asked again and yes we couldn’t have it as there was no donuts. We decided to leave at that point I did email the company when I got home but got no reply.

Visited there as I saw a review in the local paper of their Indian street food. It didn’t disappoint. I thought it was excellent and will go back. Staff also very friendly

Top Tier bar, all the staff are so friendly and helpful. Aaron working security especially made us feel welcome and provided us with great service. Big up bookshop x

Rubbish food , rubbish service , everything backwards in this place, also heard the owners are abit gay.Defo won’t be going there.

I popped in for a freshly made cheese and pickle sandwich. In hindsight: I realise I was overcharged: £5 for two slices of white bread ( not very fresh) from a cut loaf packet of bread, average taste of the grated cheddar which was not particularly generous in filling and some Branston pickle added as filling. I should have tried one of their pasties that looked OK but pricier than say Greggs the bakers by far. Not good value at all. I won't revisit. At least the counter staff were friendly!
