Grub's Up in Taunton Deane

I popped in for a freshly made cheese and pickle sandwich. In hindsight: I realise I was overcharged: £5 for two slices of white bread ( not very fresh) from a cut loaf packet of bread, average taste of the grated cheddar which was not particularly generous in filling and some Branston pickle added as filling. I should have tried one of their pasties that looked OK but pricier than say Greggs the bakers by far. Not good value at all. I won't revisit. At least the counter staff were friendly!

Grub’s Up provided buffet food for my Mum’s wake. From the first phone call, we felt cared for and the service that we received was first class, even so close to Christmas. The buffet food was plentiful and of very high quality and we were grateful of this level of service at a difficult time. Thank you.

I love ordering from Grub's Up for business buffet lunches. The variety of sandwiches, pastries and cakes makes it easy to please everyone! The staff are always so polite and easy to deal with. Now we are all working from home I often stop at the shop and pick up a mango chicken salad which is my new favourite! Would highly recommend to anyone in the area, whether it's an office lunch or just for you, well worth it!

Placed an order online and then by phone asking for ham, cheese and tuna mayonaise sandwiches. Also ordered chocolate brownies, lemon drizzle cakes and cookies. The selection was delivered to the correct address but not ours. When we were shown the sandwiches they all had additional fillings including coleslaw, pickles and poor quality salad and sandwiches not asked for. I personally only tried a ham sandwich which had a odd taste oped it and the ham was grey. The cakes were no better the brownies were stodgy and had glacé cherries the lemon drizzle had no or very little lemon in them and the cookies were the only thing completely eaten. Most of it went in the bin total waste of money.

I can honestly say I love the food from Grubs Up it is fantastic. From salad boxes to belly busting meat sandwiches to hot dogs with pulled pork and the pasties are to die for. Plus the cookies and cakes are delicious. On top of all this you are made to feel most welcome in the shop and all the staff are so friendly and helpful. All I can say is keep up the great work you are doing.

Christmas shopping trip to Taunton and what better way to start the day than with a hearty breakfast, stumbled upon grubs up and it certainly was the best decision of the day so far, very happy and (friendly) staff, made changes to my meal without hesitation and were so warm and welcoming, amazing team work and a pleasure to have meet u all, our food was lovely and not a long waiting time, we will definatly be seeing u next time we shop ☺️

Occasionally my company have lunches delivered by Grubbs up and have bought from the van but recently the quality has been lacking. The impression I get is that the food is really chucked together which I understand it’s mainly for workers but when you are spending over the usual £3 meal deal cost you expect a bit more quality for lunch otherwise you would revert back to Tesco meal deals ! The jacket potatoes used to be so good but the one I had recently was rock hard on the bottom with very little filling. The small little box you serve the potatoes in could be better as it gets really soggy on the bottom and doesn’t keep the heat in. I think it really reflects its name it is Grubby food with no thought process apart from quick easy money.

The lady who comes to VW Bridgwater is amazing. She is always so polite and bubbly even on the coldest and wettest days. 5* with out a dou't Jody (VW Bridgwater)

Josh our van driver is always friendly punctual and food is good. Comes to our workplace every day with the A-team tune playing too. 10/10.

Our driver Milky as great. Turns up on time every day and has built up a good rapport with us. Food tastes lovely and very reasonably priced for the quality so intend to keep using them for the foreseeable future!

All the food is fresh and of exceptional quality. The coffee is also locally roasted and beautiful expressed with expert knowledge. I couldn't think of a better place to eat in Taunton.

The ladies at Grubbs up are always so friendly and lovely! Not sure the name of one specific lady, but she always remembers our orders without any mistakes! Really enjoyable, quick place to grab your lunch from!

Sandwich and Pasties etc at a fairly reasonable price. average quality though and choice is limited, bot you get what you pay for as they say.

Love the van coming round my workplace.. the food is always hot and tasty. Disappointed with my fruit bowl on 3 occasions now and feel the need to review. Mixed fruit bowl consisted of 1 grape, 3 pieces of sour pineapple and the rest was crunchy melon. This isn't the first time, can we go back to 'mixed' ripe fruit Grubs Up please, you used to get it spot on!

Lovely fresh lunch foods made to order by friendly staff. Worth a visit, especially for a panini and a chocolate brownie!

El trabajo diario de visitas mi furgoneta. Es un gran servicio y el personal siempre es cortés y amable. Las empanadas son siempre de muy buena calidad y muy sabrosa. Por desgracia, algunos achaques. La pasta es siempre cocidas, así que es tan suave que no necesitas masticar que no es de mi gusto, y todo parece tener hojas rocket. Cuando no te gusta Rocket que es un problema, ya sea que la orden viene con cohetes. Entiendo que no puedo satisfacer a todos los gustos, pero quizás mezcla la ensalada deja de vez en cuando. Por desgracia, el van nos llega muy tarde estos días, así que hay mucho y, por tanto, nunca estoy comenzando a utilizar el servicio mucho menos.

Always decent food freshly served and decent price, only round the corner of my house so easy if I feel lazy, also a van comes round to where I work everyday with fresh food which means if Ive forgotten my lunch there is always something that will satisfy me on the van

Si tienes la suerte de tener uno de los vans visitar su trabajo, entonces son verdaderamente bendecida. La comida no es buena en comparación con la competencia, la comida es buena en comparación a cualquier sitio. Frescos, locales y delicioso e imaginativa. El personal, en una liga de sus dueños de todas las que he encontrado son amables, educados y muy bien presentado. Muy recomendable 10/10
