Lovely setting and decor. Friendly and accommodating staff. All the family, 6 adults and 3 kids, had Sunday roast dinner and pudding. Food very tasty and plenty of it especially the gravy. Will have no hesitation in returning to Caffi Traeth. Excellent.
Visited today, first thought was it was spacious, clean and tidy with well presented staff.
Drinks are expensive £6 odd for a pint of peroni, nearly £4 Pint of coke.
Starter garlic mushrooms small bowl, salty and watery not creamy with over toasted bread.
Lasagne again too watery with base made using tomato soup, not proper ragu certainly tasted like soup base!
Garlic pizza bread was nice and chips real cut but over cooked.
Unfortunately would not pay that price again for substandard Italian food.
We had such lovely, friendly service and really good pizza! Would definitely recommend this if you fancy a pizza while visiting the area. So accommodating and welcoming.
Absolutely brilliant place.very friendly and welcoming. Food was excellent, this will be our local pub for food for our kids and there kids. Very nice thankyou
Great customer service. Staff are very friendly and helpful in helping you decide what drink you might prefer. The prices are quite reasonable for the quantity given and there are soo many flavours to choose from. Orders are completed very quickly and to the best of their ability. I always come here and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
We often visit Ruthin when we are on holiday in North Wales and we have had a wonderful meal here before. Today my wife and I shared a delicious cheese and pickle sandwich with a fantastic salad and then shared a toasted tea cake. The coffees were an excellent quality and nice and hot. The service could not have been more attentive and the quality of food is outstanding as are the portion sizes and it is value for money. We will keep coming back here.
I do not cook at all when The Penny Black is open !
I feel really sorry for cafes and restaurants like this !
It's not their fault that they are unable to open up at the moment still !
The Post office is an integral part of the Burry Port community and as such will have struggled to retain their loyal clientele!
Not everyone is,driven by price but as I intend to eat there 3 or 4 times a week , still, I'm very grateful that the prices are priced really realistically , as I'm single and only on my works pension, still ! Lol x
Thanks for all the care the staff gave given me since moving to Burry Port/ Pembrey. South Wales.

I messaged the restaurant to book Sunday lunch via Facebook messenger but when I found out only beef & pork were available I said I wouldn’t be able to come as don’t eat beef or pork. I had asked for chicken. Kerry the owner was more than happy to accommodate & arranged for the chef to cook me chicken specially which was delicious. On arrival had a warm welcome. Love the ambience and attention to detail and customer service was second to none! Well done Madisons!
Stumbled across this little cafe accidently but very glad we did. Calm atmosphere, extremely lovely staff and amazing coffee. We had a quick stop with 3 homemade cakes all yummy and had a friendly chat with the staff.
Excellent food, easily the best fish and chips in the area without doubt. Great service and all cooked to order! Nice size portions that are great value for money! Will definitely be returning again! P.S…..get the curry sauce….its a game changer on anything!!!
A lovely garden centre. Not a massive selection but have really good quality and gave my husband and I some great ideas. Will be going back with at least a trailer next visit. The plants and pots are really reasonably priced. The coffee shop is quaint and lovely selection of cakes yum yum. Along with a lovely hot coffee. Just hit the spot. Will definately be going again and recommend anyone to visit.

Had breakfast for 6 on first morning of our stay next door. Gorgeous! Had a few different breakfasts, brunches, lunches etc during our week away. All fabulous highly recommend if you are in the area. Very friendly staff. Our little dog George loved his morning sausages lol
I came here with my family on Saturday evening, there was a great environment, cozy, warm and welcoming.
Ordered food which came sharply, and it was amazing. Great size portion and well priced.
My wife and I shared the platter and it was more than enough for 2.
Highly recommend.
Turned un booked on a Friday night, staff are amazing so welcoming and friendly. Had a lovely pint and food is amazing in particular the burgers which went down a treat. Dog friendly through out with amazing service. Plenty of parking as well.
Ordered 3 Pizzas and 1 garlic bread with Cheese before 2pm on Friday and went to collect at 6.30pm. Don't know why but just love the idea of going into someone's garden for Pizza, kind of like a secret garden from your childhood books. I couldn't wait to open the boxes and start devouring them and ohhh they were so delicious. I think I will be making my own after this holiday because the Pizza chains are not a patch on these. I shall be ordering again before I return home and highly recommend.
