Chalkie's Cafe & Cakes in Isle of Anglesey

No cakes in sight. Staff un helpful and rude. We should have realised by lack of customers it wasnt great. Coffees served with no spoons or offer of sugar. Coke was brought to the table without a glass. Toilets were upstairs not safe and not clean. Trip advisor had recommended this place. Wont return there.

Often get a takeaway breakfast from here. Always very good! Would recommend. Meat is from local butcher which I think is a nice touch.

Had American burger and chips, Best burger in Holyhead, will definitely be going here again, kids also loved the hot dogs 😀. 👍👍👍

Visited Holyhead today and myself and my friend were hungry. We decided on this cafe. We ordered 2 breakfast wraps with doorstep toast and 2 mugs of tea. The food was delicious, tea was nice and strong. Highly recommended this cafe with friendly staff. A*******

Just ordered food for takeaway, came extremely fast, chips were chunky and delicious & the burger was the best I’ve had in a very long time. I’d go so far as to say best tasting burger in town. Very impressed and will be ordering again. Delicious, filling and good portions of good food. 10/10

visit the cafe at least 3 times a week, very friendly and helpful staff, food is fantastic my favourite is the bacon and cheese hotdog with carrot cake for when I'm done, always amazing cakes on display. the takeaway menu is great and the puddings are to die for especially the cheesecakes.

Had plenty of deliveries to work. Had a delivery to home. Had food ordered in to go AND eaten in. Never a problem. Food is always spot on!! Ooh also got given a cake from a friend ... phwoar!!

This cafe has kind and friendly staff who go out of the way to help when ever they can and the food is fab nothing is to much trouble for them. I would highly recomend this cafe to anyone

Arrived late into Holyhead and stumbled into this place, great to find somewhere open at 9pm on a bank hol Monday! They have a burger menu after 5pm, but also scampi, hotdogs and nice looking cakes. They also deliver. Would go back.

Take out box meal was fantastic, plenty of variety and delicious! Would highly recommend. Warm & friendly service as always.

Box meal tried today, great value and great variation. Burger, chicken, coleslaw and chips all tasted fantastic, highly recommended!

The cafe is very clean and friendly, the food is up to a high standard and reasonably priced. I work in the town where it's situated and when I was unable to leave work they brought me my food. Would highly recommend :)

The cafe has recently been refurbished and is nice and inviting. The homemade food and cakes are lovely and good value. The staff are also helpful and friendly. A nice addition to holyhead high street.
