Absolutely fantastic visit! We popped out for a nice drive with our dog and he had a great time! Me, my fiancée and our dog were all greeted with a warm welcome. The outside seating area is spacious, Enzo our dog was more than happy chilling with us and customers and staff made sure he was happy and relaxed the whole time. 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend if you’re looking for somewhere to go with the dog

Food was 10/10, absolutely beautiful and good value for money. Vegan options on menu and specials and staff were very accommodating to our dietary requirements. Staff were so lovely and friendly and very welcoming to our dog who visited with us. There’s plenty of tables in the dog friendly rooms and we will 100% be returning. One of the most dog friendly restaurants I’ve visited. Everyone made us feel so welcome and the food being so delicious just topped it off. We may even return for an overnight stay with our dog as the grounds and beer garden are absolutely gorgeous too. Can’t recommend it enough. Diolch o galon x

The curry was beautiful, the only thing... the poppadom was put in with the curry, it was a soggy mess by the time it arrived. Maybe pack it separately! Appart from that, the food arrived super hot and was super tasty. Thank you.

I decided to take my wife and toddler here yesterday. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Service was very quick, which is great when you have a toddler at the table. The thai green curry was perfect, and the rest of the food was amazing too.

We went to the Coal house for a meal with our friends to get together one evening as a catch up to see everyone, we were warmly greeted and the staff was excellent. We had a nice tasty starter to begin with that didn't take long to serve.. Then Dinner was delivered soon after, which unfortunately wasn't quite up to the standard of the starter, it was nice and tasty but did lack abit in the quality, I personally had scampi, chips and peas, and yes it was nice, but was lacking in overall, a few of us agreed that the dinner wasn't quite a 5 star meal but more of a 3-4 star quality.. Soon after dinner desert came and was a very tasty desert. I personally had sticky toffee pudding and custard and was delicious. So overall we had a nice welcome, good starter and desert, but the main dinner meal was slightly behind.. But the staff were fantastic and we enjoyed our stay. Thanks you Coal house 😊

Over to visit my mum & decided to call into the Raven. Traditional looking pub with lots of car parking & outside area for drinking etc. very friendly staff. Traditional pub menu with some added specialities like ribs etc that I will order next time. A good selection on the menu & the food was presented well, tasted great & portion sizes were very good & I could not clear my plate! I really recommend the Raven.

Mind blowingly incredible service! Extremely welcoming, me, my partner and his mother came to visit wales to a rural Air BnB and came across this pub on chance! I don’t think I’ll ever find a more welcoming pub again. I couldn’t recommend the staff more. Dog friendly, and accommodating. Featuring a dog section of small treats and blankets for them. The interior was super clean and comfortable, also very visually appealing. 10/10 food, everyone needs to try this place no matter where you’re from. Thankyou from Cornwall

Visited twice over the weekend for breakfast can honestly say best breakfast in the area.
