Of the 3 times I've tried to visit in line with the online opening hours only once have you actually been open, rubbish

Bought a sandwich and a salad. All looked very nice… salad looked colourful and came in a nice little box; sandwich in a matching brown paper bag: all put in a nicely printed carry bag…. However the let down was the food itself. The sandwich was made from rather chewy bland white bread, inside was a bit of dry as a bone ham with rather too much chutney that was there for lubrication I imagine. The salad was equally bland. The couscous had no particular flavour, and the salad leaves had no discernible dressing. The beetroot was nice. All in all … style over substance. 3/10

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! 35Yrs old, it's fair to say what I like and don't like.....The Surf Bar Cafe served me the best breakfast I have EVER had! The only disappointment is that I live 4 hours away. 😪

Stopped here whilst cycling the NC4 route. Cute place and great vibe. Welcoming and friendly staff/owners. Food was beautifully presented with olive oil and balsamic drizzled on plate and baby plum tomato as garnish. Tasted great as well, yolk on my poached egg perfect and lava bread was tasty.

Food is amazing, the cafe is now run by top chefs and it shows. Full breakfast is cooked to perfection. Best we’ve found

A great breakfast to start our day before a game at Ashburnham Golf Club. A must visit to start the day in Burry Port. Throughly recommended.

The atmosphere here is amazing. The food is LUSH. The staff so nice - I can't praise it highly enough. Dirty Diana and the breakfast are musts.

Lovely and innovative food. Could not fault what we served one bit. The ‘Hip to be Square’ is now my favourite brunch and something I attempt at home. Well worth a visit for a creative and innovative space. Far different from the typical drudge in many places.

We visited Lolfa a few times, twice for drinks and cakes, the third for breakfast. Which was amazing. We had four different breakfasts: a 2, a 5, a 6, and a veggie 10. Coffee was great, smoothies were really good. Staff were really friendly.

Really more style over substance, service was ridiculously slow but we sat there thinking this might be a good thing as it was being made fresh, it wasn't! My partner had "smashed" avocado that wasn't ripe so basically just a whole lump of soggy avocado on really thin toast. I had the full breakfast which although nothing really wrong with it there wasn't anything than stood out, you would have better service and better food at wetherspoons. The cafe is really small and cramped, every time the waitress was collecting dirty plates she had hold them other my head and plate to get past the customers waiting at the till. When asked at the till if everything was ok both answered not really and that was the end of discussion.

This is a great venue for a light lunch or snack in BurryPort. The decor and atmosphere along with a creative menu make Caffi Lolfa a great addition to the town and a change from the standard pub lunch. We will definitely visit again.

Drove to Llanelli for a walk on the Millennium path, spoiled by the rain. Stumbled across Caffi Lolfa and it was easily the highlight of the day. So welcoming and kind staff who did everything to make us feel comfortable. We had a 1 year old with us who was entertained by books and finished all her food for the first time (shows how tasty it was!). Food and coffee were fantastic. Will definitely come back. Thanks again!

After a long walk, we were searching for somewhere to have lunch and came across this cafe. A notice on the door does say that it’s best to book but we were lucky that they had a free table. Don’t expect run of the mill sandwiches and paninis, this food is very different. Myself and a friend ordered ‘Crock Rock’, sourdough toast with avocado, poached egg and beetroot salsa. It was a taste sensation! My partner ordered ‘Hip to be Square, he absolutely loved it. The coffee was good too. This is our new favourite place! The staff were extremely polite, helpful and friendly too, which made the whole experience perfect.

Absolutely fabulous in every way, warm welcome even with a large pram, a dog and no booking on a busy Sunday. Excellent menu with some great vegan options and the coffee is good, including the decaf. The three of us each had something different from the menu and each commented on the flavour, presentation and different textures, wonderful. Two cakes to takeaway, delicious too! For me, Burry Port is an oasis of great food as well as the views, beach and walks. I’ll be back when next visiting my family and my Wales based friends intend on becoming your regulars. Thank you, keep doing what you’re doing, no changes needed 😊🙏🏻⭐️

An autumnal Sunday walking in Burry Port, sunny but cool, and needing a light lunch. We wandered from the harbour to the town and saw this cafe which looked busy; always a good sign. We hadn't booked but they managed to fit us in, however booking (on a Sunday) is advisable as several customers who came ofter us were turned away. The menu is very interesting and all the food is freshly prepared. The deserts, cakes and pastries are all appealing, and they serve the usual range of drinks. Service was very good indeed, and even though we were advised that food was taking a bit of time owing to being busy, it really wasn't a very long wait, and when it came it was very nicely presented an extremely tasty. certainly a place I would recommend.

Vegan and vegetarian brunches were fantasticly tasty, and good coffee too. A little gem.

Fabulous food! We are here twice during our 2 week stay in Burry Port - the food was so good we couldn’t just go once! The cafe itself is lovely - the shelves are filled with local products (coffees, beers etc) and the service is very friendly and relaxed. The food was amazing - very fresh, tasty and well presented. They were also very accepting of our requests to modify the meals to suit our young kids’ palette, which we really appreciated. Would highly recommend!

OMG one of the best lunches we've ever had, yes sounds like a massive claim but honestly was that good. Amazing choice, especially for vegetarian and vegan. Great value, lovely and fresh local produce. Most definitely will be back.

The most amazing sandwiches with innovative fillings to satisfy any taste and special diets. Well done chef. The bread and pastries that they have from Bogan's bakery have to be tasted to be believed. A definite must if you are in the Burry Port area. The added bonus is that they are dog friendly. Great menu and friendly staff makes this venue a treat.

We travelled from Gowerton to Burry Port on the last day of our holiday because we loved the food and staff at Caffi Lolfa we were turned away saying they were booked and had nothing available until 1.30pm. There is nothing on there website about booking tables and was shocked as they had quite a few empty tables just after midday will not go there again.

Went for lunch and iced coffees. Every single thing on our plates was delicious. A great range of food, beautifully presented, cooked perfectly, and reasonably priced.

We often visit here for breakfast / lunch with friends. Staff are always friendly, helpful and courteous. Booking is recommended as the place is quite small and very popular. Lovely artowork on the wall to look at and I believe available to purchase, they also sell a range of local beers and other drinks which is great for buying local gifts. Food is always nice and quite reasonable. They could sometimes do with more of a choice of cakes, but the mint brownies are beautiful when they have them! I find the childrens meals quite disappointing, portions are very small. They could also do with better highchairs. They have oens that clip onto the table and if the baby leans from side to side the chair sometimes goes with it, they seem quite unstable. Overall a good cafe, will visit again.

What a find! Saw it on Instagram and it lives up to its reputation. Really good coffee ( we are ‘coffee snobs’). Gorgeous brownie and proper toast. The meals looked amazing.

The food is absolutely delicious, everytime I’m in hurry port I make sure to eat here, so we’ll prices for the quality and taste of the food. The vibe and atmosphere of the place is so nice and chilled, 10/10

First time I have eaten here, but can highly recommend it. The choices are mainly vegetarian and vegan, but also give a nod to the meat eater too. The flavours were well thought out and presented beautifully. Social distancing was firmly adhered to, but it did not spoil the cosy feeling of this little cafe. I will definitely be going back.

Literally can not fault this place. Beautiful setting, staff are always great, and the food reminds me of a the breakfasts I used to buy in Australia. There's not many good quality breakfasts around these parts, but you'll never go wrong at Lolfa 👌🏼

We visited on 17 Sept 2020, the sevice was excellent, very polite and we were made to feel welcome with our dog too. The Full Breakfast was amazing and set us up for the day. All done under the best practice of Covid rules !

Lovely place to stay have breakfast, and breakfast was delicious! So if you're passing this way stop here for breakfast, friendly quick service.

Arrived without a booking but they couldn't have made us feel more welcome. Menu is thorough and the quality is the food and drinks was superb. Beetroot burger is my recommendation, but everything looked great. Will definitely visit again. Staff made everyone feel very safe.

Arrived here very wet with 2 dogs and managed to get a table, as this is obviously a popular little cafe. The staff are lovely, a great bustling atmosphere and the most amazing food. None of your boring jacket potatoes and paninis here, interesting breakfast and brunch choices; we opted for grilled halloumi, mushrooms and wilted spinach on toasted sour dough for one and bacon, smashed black pudding and a poached egg on sour dough for the other, sooo delicious. We guiltily also managed to polish off some homemade carrot cake, yum.

It can be rather annoying when you are on holiday, don't know the area and try to have lunch but you get caught out because noone would have you: 'they are fully booked'. These lovely ladies made sure they tried their best to squeeze us in to help us out. We felt so lucky until our food arrived. Once we saw it and tasted it we knew: we hit the jackpot. Thank you!

We booked a table as a couple and our dog was welcome too. We both had the full breakfast and it was delicious. The dog had toast and no complaints from him.

I've lived in Burry Port for over a tear now and yesterday was my first visit ! I've been missing out ! Caffi Lolfa is a real tonic, first thing in a morning. I shall be a regular , now ! I had a £6.50 breakfast and left very full , even though, I didn't eat my 2 x hash browns. I explained why I'd, left some food , on my plate ! I, never do, normally, but as a runner , who runs daily, 2 x hash browns may have meant , my Run, at 6am was pointless! Lol x I did not need to eat any more cooked food yesterday, after 10am and just had a yoghurt and some fruit. Thankyou x Emily and Cariad for making me feel so welcome ! I'll be back ! Went for breakfast at Caffi Lolfa 9.15 Wednesday morning. Expected government discount as caffi Lolfa are listed with uk government scheme. Didn't get any discount. Had two lovely breakfast specials at £7.50 and two peppermint teas at £1.70 each. Total £18.

Clean, but let us take my friends little but well behaved dog inside - many thanks for that as we’re all OAPs who had been walking & needed refreshments indoors! That made our number up to five Menu had great names to their dishes. We all choose different meals & drinks - all were excellent & served quickly even though Caffi quite busy - full marks for that!Staff attentive & helpful & Chef gave us a sausage for our four legged pal.Would definitely recommend & hope to return soon

We called in for lunch with friends. Ordered 2 teas and a coffee while we waited for our meal but one of the teas never turned up and we had to enquire after it!When we asked for the gluten free bread the waitress did not know if they had it or not. When I asked about the pies the waitress did not know what they had, so went off and returned with a list. I ordered the mushroom pie but was served the sausage pie!Nice cafe but a little let let down by poor waitressing.
