Definitely the best chip shop in the area Always great food

Lovely pint in a friendly and traditional pub. The open wood fire topped it off and we didn’t want to leave! Dogs are welcome.

Our daughter held her baby shower at the halfway today, it was my first visit and I have to say what a lovely place, staff are really welcoming and can't do enough for you. The pub was spotless and the food was fantastic with very generous portions. Highly recommend and will be visiting again. Well done Halfway - 5 Stars.

Went for Sunday lunch, OMG food was cold, roast potatoes were so hard we couldn’t cut them, my Beef had lots of fat going through it, and I cut in to my Turkey and there was a red vine growing through it , the only vegetable was ok was the Swede , we should have gone up to complain, would not recommend to anyone 😠

Every time I’m in Carmarthen I go to Waverleys because the food and staff are magnificent. The lunch never fails to satisfy.

Huge selection on the menu, large portions, excellent value for money, very friendly and welcoming staff, just loved everything about our experience here. We loved it so much, we came back again and it was just as good!! Highly recommend this place, especially the home cooked food.

Perfect place to sit out and soak up the sun with a bevvy. Safe area out the back if you have kids to . Lovely Sunday lunch served by the new chef and new land lady Janet. Home made and plenty of. Very popular to so try and book . Serving lunches and eve meals in the week with weekly offers and deals to. Plenty of choice on the menu.
