The best restaurants in Swansea South Wales

First bad review I've ever written about Roma. Always go to Anthony when I'm in work in The Townhill area but cosy night in last night at home in Gorseinon was awful. Less than tepid fish cake and scampi honestly almost cold but chips were hot so I don't understand. They went straight in the bin as I didn't think heating them back up was safe. If I'd had a message this morning my review would have been different so it's up to frampton road from now on I think you guys have got too cocky to care picture shows your fishcake in the kitchen food bin scampi are unfortunately underneath where my hands aren't going. Most expensive chip butties I've ever made

Pop in 4 lunch, once a week. Delicious, freshly prepared Prawn Pad Thai. Beats anything & anywhere else for a tasty quick lunch

Great value for money and the burrito was incredible. Such a fun hidden spot on wind street. We were fortunate enough to speak to the owner who was so welcoming and helpful. Great food and great staff. Highly reccomend

The staff were lovely, the portions were small but overall it was a nice place to eat.

Midweek family lunch. Phone call made prior to visiting to ensure food was available as last time we visited no food available due to fryers not working. On entering this establishment we noticed a cat inside premises drinking milk from a cup on the floor in the restaurant. The whole place had an unpleasant stale aroma and very cold dark and dingy. The tables sticky and menus the same. Service limited and unfriendly. Large notices advising no vegan food available. We eventually made our choices and ordered at the bar. Food arrived promptly on warm plates. Portions quite small but food was reasonable. Overall a ok ish visit but this place is in desperate need of a good deep clean and would benefit from re decorating. Would we re visit or recommend, probably not.

We attended here as a large group of ten on a weekend evening. I was skeptical at first as had never been here before or heard of anyone that had been. Although the outside of the building could do with a little TLC the inside was lovely and cosy. Most of our party had a set menu which was good value. We had a range of meals and everybody enjoyed everything that they had. The meatballs and fish cakes to start were especially nice and for mains the lamb and beef were lovely. The desserts were also nice and all of the food was served together and we had a nice time in between courses. All staff were lovely and we had a great evening. Would recommend! Thank you we will be back :)

Wow! What a little gem of a place this is! Our first visit and we were treated like old friends by Peter. Helpful recommendations made us pick some wonderful dishes. The Chicken Satay starter was best I have had and my partner had the Bakwan Udang, a prawn starter. Main course was the Monkfish, well recommended. Ani the chef came to see us and spoke about the food and her mums recipes. Gareth also helped us out in the night. The three of them made us feel really comfortable and welcomed. A real treat and well worth a visit.

Had a takeaway from this legendary restaurant to help celebrate my birthday.Food was delicious and top quality. We had Salmon and Prawns in Lino sauce, Chicken Al Arabiata ( tomato and chillis) and garlic bread.Mains came with sauté potatoes and vegEverything was top notch. Highly recommend!

Delicious breakfast. Big portions. The dinners looks tasty. One of the best breakfasts i have had. Great value. Look forward to returning.

Good choice of soups, all gluten free. I went for leek and potato. Nice soup, good price and friendly staff. Would recommend

Have always used this chippy, food and staff are fantastic and I've never had reason to complain before ,I ordered today for collection and on unwrapping items realised my chicken platter salad was missing its salad, I rung the shop and when I explained the guy was so apologetic explained he would resolve the issue if we could go back to collect which my partner did , once again on unwrap the guy had made me the nicest looking salad I'd ever laid my eyes on and newly cooked chicken to go with it,I was very happy but then my partner showed they had also given a voucher for next meal for us going back to pick it up Food 💯 Customer services 💯 Thank you

Came for breakfast and ordered scrambled eggs. Came to £8 which seems excessive for what was delivered. Normally that would be with salmon or perhaps full English
