Roma fish bar in Swansea

First bad review I've ever written about Roma. Always go to Anthony when I'm in work in The Townhill area but cosy night in last night at home in Gorseinon was awful. Less than tepid fish cake and scampi honestly almost cold but chips were hot so I don't understand. They went straight in the bin as I didn't think heating them back up was safe. If I'd had a message this morning my review would have been different so it's up to frampton road from now on I think you guys have got too cocky to care picture shows your fishcake in the kitchen food bin scampi are unfortunately underneath where my hands aren't going. Most expensive chip butties I've ever made

On time and piping hot when it arrived

Their closed at 9pm we we arrived at 9.10 minutes pm not impresssed door was even open

no salt and vinegar as ordered and 2 rissoles are a mush in tray

Beautiful chips and a very generous portion. looking forward to the next order.

Absolutely gutted after all these years we’ve been going for our favourite chips at the Roma to discover that the “vegetarian food” is all cooked in the same fryer as the meat products.

Fresh food that was cooked to order, very reasonable price, polite and friendly staff, highly recommended, will definitely be going back

A rare visit to Gorseinon so popped in for a sit down lunch of fish and chips. Could not fault the politeness of the staff and the food was excellent. Recommended.

Had a lovely meal only problem was the WiFi could not log in or use my own I needed to find the route to the hospital but couldn't, but I'd still go back for the lovely food

My partner proposed going to a fish and chip shop tonight. Given that it had been a long day, I figured, "Why not?" She recommended Roma Gorseinon, and immediately I countered, "Every time we've gotten chips from there, they've been undercooked!" She replied, "We haven't been there in months, maybe it's changed now." We went ahead and got the chips, and guess what? They were still terribly undercooked! The curry and sausage were tasty, but ultimately, the main reason we went was for the chips

Chips were rancid,won't be going here again

Lovely lunch and reasonably priced. Service was quick and staff were friendly. Dining area was easy and tidy with plenty of seating.

We tend to drive to Roma rather than get takeaway from our own village. Very nice chips (not greasy). Lovely rissoles.

Absolutely stunned food. The fish is boneless and delicious. Fantastic customer service. Made to feel welcome and the restaurant is spotless. Try it out you won't be disappointed.

Took our 4 grandchildren for lunch...a feat in itself! Staff extremely attentive, food beautifully cooked and well presented. Nothing was too much trouble. Well done Franco and staff 👏

Good food for a reasonable price

Dropped in for a few cod and chips and a couple of sausage and chips. I've always seen people in there on passing so thought I would give it a shot. Not disappointed at all. Very good service first off. No messing about and we were out as soon as the cod was cooked. Just very pleasant young staff behind the counter. Got home and the food was great, plenty of it as well. Nothing worse than great cod and soggy chips when you're hungry, well this was the opposite. Nice one Roma.

Excellent fish and chips, and open on a Sunday evening. Very tasty, good and hot. A little pricy at £14.05 for 2 x fish and chips and 2 x cokes. But well worth it!

Have sat in the restaurant a few times. The roast dinners are lovely if you don't feel like chips. The chips are also lovely too. My daughter loves the milkshake with cream from here too. Take away is also spot on.

Best fish and chips ever fantastic.

I fancied a chippy with the kids so I popped in. The kids decided to get a chair and asked to eat in which was easier as we were out and about. Then I was requested to order from a different part of the shop. But low and behold I was served a different type of chips it was not your chip shop tatsing chips just tasted like home made fried chips did not have the chip shop tatse you do when u order to take away. Also charged a lot for what it was. Not impressed
