Food was delicious, atmosphere was excellent and the Service was spot on ! We was served by a lovely boy Dan who was very well presented

For a coffee shop their espresso was terrible. I ordered a double espresso and got what looks and tastes like a burnt espresso that’s been watered down. The waitress was lovely, but the atmosphere was rubbish as there were two sets of music playing plus the staff had to talk loudly over the music to each other as it was so loud. Not impressed.

Door open, chairs and tables out, but they said it was closed even though it was just 16.20.

Expensive for what was an average breakfast. No filter coffee, no choice of teabags. £21.00. Welsh breakfast and mini breakfast

Had been shopping with my friend. It was lovely sunny afternoon so we stopped here for a refreshing glass of wine. The service was great 👍 we will be back 😊

Classique, sans prise de risque !

I extended my stay in Swansea firstly to see the sites and, secondly, to try Gershwins and boy, wasn't i pleasantly surprised (by Gershwins, not by the sites). The coffee was black, big and strong (just how I like it), the eggs were perfectly runny and the toast was liberally buttered!! Swan-see you soon!

The cafe to go when in town has excellent breakfast and service been consistent through the years

I have popped in to numinous Gerswins numerous times lately. Sampled their sublime apple pie and custard...as good as it gets..and better!

Best breakfast I have had for a long time

Absolutely outstanding breakfast, my little man throughly enjoyed the lava bread and cockles. Lovely and welcoming staff, nothing was to much of an issue! Hardly any wait for our drinks and food! Everything was spot on

Great place to start off weekend in West Wales. The owner was fabulous and accommodated us upstairs with a dog due to undesirable people being disrupted outside the premises.

Very nice home cooked meals at reasonable prices however the bill is thrown on your table after you main so dont expect to order pudding there was also a long wait for food

We went for the all-day breakfast. It was standard but very good. The service was great! Typically, this cafe is not dog friendly, but because of the rain and a few sketchy characters hanging about outside, they let us in with the dog and sat us upstairs. The atmosphere I gave a 3 just because of the homeless/people drinking and hanging out in front of the restaurant. They were yelling at the customers and random people passing by. Which is no fault of the restaurant owner, but it isn't pleasant to walk through or around to get into the restaurant.

Very friendly staff, lovely place and great food. I had the omelette and it was delicious, proper ham too. We will definitely be eating there again.

For about 20 years on a Tuesday I go to Gershwins. A very friendly atmosphere, and you are not rushed out the door. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere. Over the years I have tried neatly everything. My favourite is a Welsh breakfast. There is a vast range for all teases. The price is competitive. Go and find out for yourself 🌈

Excellent corned beef pie meal with chips, peas and gravy. Nice to see these traditional dishes offered. Da iawn!

We paid a visit today and must say, our meals were very tasty and well presented. We were a family of 4. I had the cornbread pie and my husband had the most tasteful chicken, ham and leak pie. Just had to have a taste.The children had sausage. Each dish came with a choice of potatoes. The staff are very helpful and greet you with a smile. Gershwins is highly recommend by us and we will definitely be returning. Thank you all at gershwins, see you soon 😋

Absolutely the best breakfast in Swansea. Everything is freshly cooked and you can view the chef at work. The food is awesome and the staff and owner are polite and cheerful. They can't do enough to make your visit there, warm and welcoming! I have consecutively had excellent service and food there on many occasions. The food and drink is reasonably priced and the portions are good. The place is always kept clean and their bathrooms are always clean, tidy, fresh and well stocked. This little restaurant / cafe is a little gem in Swansea. They also serve real fresh cream with your coffee if you prefer. My son had the strawberry milkshake there, which looked amazing to the eye with whipped cream and a drizzle of strawberry sauce to complete the look. They have an upstairs dining area if the downstairs is full. It's a quaint looking cafe with beautiful stone work and wooden beams. Can't say enough about it, other than, you really should try their cuisine and hospitality.

We really enjoy our visits to this coffe shop on the odd Friday when we have our baby granddaughter. We don't live in swansea so only visit occasionally but found them a short while ago and they are so friendly and willing to accommodate our gorgeous girl. all the staff are so friendly and always take the time to have a smile with her and never say a word about the inevitable baby mess. we are so pleased we found them and wouldn't be taking Maisie anywhere else! she loves sharing their corned beef pie with her mamgu ♥️

We had the Tuna ciabatta with a side order of chips .Was delicious and substantial .Service was great ,friendly and fast .No wonder its busy ...but was relaxing to sit down and have lunch there .

For more years than I can remember, Tuesday is my visit. Friendly atmosphere . The food is always first class. I can recommend the menu, as I have sampled most. My favourite is the Welsh breakfast. Give it a try.

this is the second time I have been here and every meal I have had has been freshly cooked, quick friendly service and very good value for money. Breakfast includes coffee or tea in the price and today for instance I had a butterscotch and walnut cake for £2.95 with coffee total £5.05 bargain and cake lovely and moist and delicious. Place clean and tidy including the toilet. If you in Swansea give it a go you wont be disappointed a varied menu at lunchtimes with specials. The staff are doing a great job.

For many years a have been making my weekly trip to Gershwins for many a year, service as always been first class, The standard is always the same excellent. The atmosphere is relaxed, a good family restaurant. I hope I will be going there for many years to come

Had a lovely meal, Thai curry ..my husband had the cirned beef our he enjoyed it,the desserts were lovely too and bug potions, friendly staff.

Food portions good, good value for money, service was excellent and tye staff were so polite and cheerful. Had veggie breakfast and the mushrooms were awesome!

My fiance and I sat in the window seat. The table was being cleared.. so we sat down but no one came back to wipe the table, so there was still a little food on it.. I should really have asked for it to be done.. Anyway we were served straight away by a friendly girl. I asked about the chicken & mushroom stroganoff, which I did choose and can say was lovely. My fiance had a breakfast with extra cockles. He enjoyed everything apart from the bacon which he said was over-cooked. I though would like it that way.. we also had a pot of tea each, we were not too keen on that, it was quite weak.. so apart from the table not being cleaned and the tea I really enjoyed the food.

We are here for a couple of nights performing at the Grand Theatre. Our director recommended this place and we weren’t disappointed. The Welsh breakfast was a revelation, the traditional breakfast was all you could wish for and the staff were lovely and friendly. If you want a proper tasty breakfast, then you can’t go wrong with Gershwins.

Extremely kind workers at the cafe. I would recommend this highly for anyone to enjoy. They helped celebrate my partners birthday and brought his cake with a pre lit candle. Had no idea it was coming until it arrived. We’re both very happy 😊

Has a lasanga here and i must say was amazing one of the best if not the best lasagna ive ever had And ive eaten lasagna in a lot of pubs and cafes as its one of my favourate meals Could clearly tell by how nice it tasted the lasagna was homecooked 👊 Staff very friendly and pleasant too Am a very happy customer

First time I have visited Gershwin's and it was spot on. Ended up having a monster breakfast and coffee and it was perfect, very tasty and didn't break the bank. The restaurant is clean and the staff were excellent, would definitely visit again when in Swansea.

Just popped in for lunch at Gershwins _ ham and mushroom omlette with Salad. Service was very prompt & attentive.The meal was perfect. The chef brought it to us himself. Great size mixed salad to go with it om the side. Coffee was very tasty too.
