Joe’s cream is absolutely delicious, i just love consuming loads of joes cream everywhere!

As always, beautiful ice cream. Thus is a must visit place if you are visiting Swansea. Delicious!

A Swansea staple! Does one thing, and does it well - deliciously creamy ice cream, served in amazing variety of ways.

Too expensive £5 for tiny Sunday, would rather get a pot of Ben and jerrys for the same price which is huge. Way too expensive for a family of 4 end up spending £30 on ice cream, they need to charge much less they’ll get more service then.

This was one place I was really looking forward to on my visit to Swansea as it had been 5 years during my stay I visited every day and on my way back after 10 km race a brolly place to have ice cream I love the wafer

been coming here on and off for a couple of years when i vist family in wales and thwy love it just as much as i do!! portions are just right and the prices are amazing for what they are. all the icecream is fresh and has the best texture ☺️

we were in swansea visiting family and popped over to The Mumbles for a walk. our daughter had recommended Joe's and it didn't disappoint. We had 2 different flavours and they were creamy and delicious on a nice sunny day. Highly recommend them and would go back on our next visit. Quality ice cream with different flavours on the board as well as staples. You won't be disappointed.

The rhubarb rumble is the absolute ice cream perfection... but on this occasion the crumble consistency was not up to the usual standard. Ice cream was divine

To be honest, i didn't even get to the point of ordering. As i was told in the queue, if i didn't know what i wanted to order, i could go and sit down. Look at the menu, decide what i want, and rejoin the que! I mean, is this really how you treat customers. Shouldn't you have on display your menu of what's available. Safe to say, i won't be returning.

Joe’s ice cream has to be tasted to be believed! It’s superb! The most velvety smooth delicious ice cream I’ve ever tasted. We all had a chocolate sundae and they were amazing. They say seeing is believing, at Joe’s tasting is believing.

I always make an effort to return to Joe's when I'm back in Swansea and the Mumbles. The ice cream is always tasty with a wide range of flavours available. The scoops are generous and there's a range of toppings available. I know some people feel its expensive but I think its comparable to the cost of buying from an ice cream van now.

If you visit Swansea or Mumbles, it should be a main aim to visit a Joe's Ice Cream parlour. Simply put, this is one of the best ice cream makers I've had, outside of Italy. Service is great and the cafe area is clean and welcoming, with a touch of the old fashioned style of parlours from the 60's.

You can't beat Joe's Ice Cream directly from their shop.

Fantastic ice cream, best there is

I love Joes Ice cream, and it is definitely a cut above the rest. There’s no other ice cream to compare. However, the prices have become way too much when the portion sizes have also decreased. The parlours often have very long queues so I don’t understand why they need to charge so much when they have great custom. Also, the joes ice cream sold in tubs in other shops is no where near the same quality as the ice cream at the parlour.

As an avid Joe's fan for 60 plus yrs. I have had to change.my preferred topping. You have gone from proper chocolate sprinkles to the awful chocolate flavoured one that turn into a plastic blob in the mouth.

Still the best (and I have been a fan since 1965). What you really need to understand is that Joe’s is about the vanilla ice cream. If you want tons of flavours then go elsewhere. For me ice cream is judged on either pure milk or vanilla. (Nata as it is sometimes known). So adding fruit / syrup / nuts etc is just “fluff” and a good way to disguise any shortcomings in terms of texture and flavour. A pure Joe’s vanilla is the best. There are a few comparisons (Tamar Bridge, Goodalls and Tagg Lane) but I’m still a Joe’s fan. Try it pure.

Interesting, neat place. Excellent service and ice cream which in my opinion I will describe as 'deliciously out of this world'. But then, don't take my word for it - find out for yourself if you're in Swansea. Great for kids too. My 4 stars are my appreciation for their great work

I had the Pineapple speciality (can’t remember the name). Possibly the best ice cream I have ever tasted. I only rate it 4 stars because the portion sizes were quite small.

Put simply, the finest ice cream in the world. That's about it but I'll also add that every time I go in I'm met with friendly staff and a clean parlour. A true Swansea institution, long may it continue to serve its delicious white creamy nectar.

Really lovely flagship store for the best ice cream you'll ever have in your life! It comes in one flavour, vanilla. And four different toppings. But even if you were just to eat the ice cream on its own you wouldn't be missing out. It's super smooth, insanely tasty, and I don't think I could ever look at another ice cream the same way after this. The chocolate and nut sprinkles are a perfect accompaniment. And there are also a whole range of sundaes and other combos if you want to splash out! Honestly this shop makes me wish I could eat ice cream every day 🥲 the staff are always lovely as well!

Best ice cream in the world, this one has an area to stop and sit and enjoy too. Strawberry marshmallow sundae for the win or just a double classic cone with raspberry sauce and chocolate bits

Why does it close at 7.30 when there are summer visitors about. I understand winter closing times but to close in the summer at an early time is not good business practice

Always a must to stop over for Joe's ice cream wherever we are in Swansea/Mumbles. The rum and raisins was really good and vanilla flavour was different from other vanilla ice creams from other places. The kids loved it. Parking can be tricky but worth the walk especially on a sunny day.

Visited joes in the summer and the ice cream we had was soft and melting to water before we could eat it. I thought it was because the weather was extremely hot Visited today November and as I ordered my ice cream I could see that again it was in the point of melting. The lady serving looked embarrassed when I said that don’t look to good. She agreed with me and said no it don’t. I then left without making a purchase. Will not be returning.

Wonderful service, brilliant options and good coffee. It has a nice feel here, like a traditional ice-cream parlour. Despite being busy it was organised and the staff were excellent.

I have been going to Joes Icecream in Mumbles for over 45 years and having moved away, whenever I come back, a visit to Joes is a must - my son now loves it as much as I do and gets the vote for the best Icecream ever tasted

First experience of Joe,s ice cream I loved it

Was really looking forward to my visit here as it had been highly recommended by my friend, and I have to say the vanilla ice cream I had was stunning. However the experience for me was spoiled by a little Hitler maning the doors enforcing the covid rules. Woman with dark frizzy hair was quite rude in my opinion and left me feeling a bit miffed. I know the rules are there for a reason but we were made to stand outside as we didn't have a mask which the woman had cleared away by mistake in the cafe previously. This I understand , But, the way she spoke to us and barked orders at us was rude and unecessary. I also work in a shop and there are ways to speak to your customers that is done in a respectful way. She really needs retraining in customer care. And the way she was barking orders at the young lads who work there was rude and unecessary. Its a big thumbs down from me and I won't be returning sorry

For those who have tasted a Joe's, no trip to Swansea is complete without a visit to St. Helen's road or The Mumbles, fab family memories from over thirty years ago, there tonight with my youngest son, who will be 38 in March. To you want a pudding he said, or should we go to Joe's.
