The blonde girl in the striped shirt working today was absolutely wonderful, very lovely kind girl - handled our ice cream order very swiftly and had a smile on her face the whole time. Lovely experience, will come back again 👌

Interesting, neat place. Excellent service and ice cream which in my opinion I will describe as 'deliciously out of this world'. But then, don't take my word for it - find out for yourself if you're in Swansea. Great for kids too. My 4 stars are my appreciation for their great work

I had the Pineapple speciality (can’t remember the name). Possibly the best ice cream I have ever tasted. I only rate it 4 stars because the portion sizes were quite small.

Put simply, the finest ice cream in the world. That's about it but I'll also add that every time I go in I'm met with friendly staff and a clean parlour. A true Swansea institution, long may it continue to serve its delicious white creamy nectar.

Really lovely flagship store for the best ice cream you'll ever have in your life! It comes in one flavour, vanilla. And four different toppings. But even if you were just to eat the ice cream on its own you wouldn't be missing out. It's super smooth, insanely tasty, and I don't think I could ever look at another ice cream the same way after this. The chocolate and nut sprinkles are a perfect accompaniment. And there are also a whole range of sundaes and other combos if you want to splash out! Honestly this shop makes me wish I could eat ice cream every day 🥲 the staff are always lovely as well!

Why does it close at 7.30 when there are summer visitors about. I understand winter closing times but to close in the summer at an early time is not good business practice

Always a must to stop over for Joe's ice cream wherever we are in Swansea/Mumbles. The rum and raisins was really good and vanilla flavour was different from other vanilla ice creams from other places. The kids loved it. Parking can be tricky but worth the walk especially on a sunny day.

Visited joes in the summer and the ice cream we had was soft and melting to water before we could eat it. I thought it was because the weather was extremely hot Visited today November and as I ordered my ice cream I could see that again it was in the point of melting. The lady serving looked embarrassed when I said that don’t look to good. She agreed with me and said no it don’t. I then left without making a purchase. Will not be returning.

Wonderful service, brilliant options and good coffee. It has a nice feel here, like a traditional ice-cream parlour. Despite being busy it was organised and the staff were excellent.

I have been going to Joes Icecream in Mumbles for over 45 years and having moved away, whenever I come back, a visit to Joes is a must - my son now loves it as much as I do and gets the vote for the best Icecream ever tasted

First experience of Joe,s ice cream I loved it

Was really looking forward to my visit here as it had been highly recommended by my friend, and I have to say the vanilla ice cream I had was stunning. However the experience for me was spoiled by a little Hitler maning the doors enforcing the covid rules. Woman with dark frizzy hair was quite rude in my opinion and left me feeling a bit miffed. I know the rules are there for a reason but we were made to stand outside as we didn't have a mask which the woman had cleared away by mistake in the cafe previously. This I understand , But, the way she spoke to us and barked orders at us was rude and unecessary. I also work in a shop and there are ways to speak to your customers that is done in a respectful way. She really needs retraining in customer care. And the way she was barking orders at the young lads who work there was rude and unecessary. Its a big thumbs down from me and I won't be returning sorry

For those who have tasted a Joe's, no trip to Swansea is complete without a visit to St. Helen's road or The Mumbles, fab family memories from over thirty years ago, there tonight with my youngest son, who will be 38 in March. To you want a pudding he said, or should we go to Joe's.

Joe's ice cream is a must if you are new to Swansea or are in Swansea for a holiday. We stop at the St Helens branch regularly even if it's raining! There are lots of unusual Sundaes or you can go traditional with chocolate sprinkles, raspberry sauce and a flake! Highly recommend 😊

The best ice cream ever wish they sold it in England

Although you will not get better ice cream anywhere else ever in point of veiw, a bit pricey but well worth it. The only problem i have are these "new spoons" they are too big. My family & i found that they rub/scratch/cut the inside of your mouth & its a pity as its beautiful ice cream & its a pleasure eating it, but not to have that experience again if i have a tub i think we'l take our own spoons.😁. Please go back too the other plastic spoons. Tnx.

It's something you grow up with. Every visit down takes me back to when I was 13. The ice cream isn't my wife's cup of tea but the kids loved it. The large Biscoff Sunday wasn't as big at you'd except a large to be but it was very Biscoffy. The Pina colada Sunday was refreshing. However the cone with sprinkles was the biggest hit with my kids. I recommend this place, just be careful of the council parking mobile cameras they drive by frequently.

Cannot get enough of Joe's lol A must experience for anyone visiting Swansea

Our friends who live in the Mumbles wanted to take us to this ice cream shop for long time as they live it. When we went with them last week lunch time, I was not impressed at all. There was very limited varieties of solid ice cream and was no frozen yogurt. The price was not worth the skimpy scoop the stick on your cone and the taste was mediocre.

Great ice-cream and sundaes, I've never found a vanilla ice cream as good as theirs. On sunny days there can be a queue around the corner, but it's always worth the wait. Verdi's in Mumbles has a wider variety of flavoured ice cream than Joe's, which tends to offer a more traditional flavour selection.

About 20 years ago I studied abroad in Swansea. I would eat at Joe’s 2-3 times a week and sometimes more then once a day even the cold rainy weather. I have not been able to find an ice cream since then that is better then Joe’s. I dream of the day I can go back and taste some again

Visited Joe’s once again in the Mumbles as it is ‘the’ place to have an ice cream. Terrific variety well presented and just what we needed on a warm day following our walk and sea food experience on the promenade from Gower Seafood Hut - what a day 😎 Congratulations must go to the organisation of Joe’s ice cream parlour for the way they set out and segregated clients outside and within their establishment, top drawer! 👏😎

Long queue during the recent warm weather. Ordered pineapple sundae n chocolate marshmallow sundae, both were good. For an ice cream parlor the flavour option are too limited n basic. I tried mango sorbet n my all time fav cappuccino ice cream which only comes in a tiny cup, I guess not very popular here. Both tasted good and not too sweet so was perfect. Hubby n son also enjoyed their sundaes. Will stop tomorrow to try bubblegum flavour with cappuccino

Don’t do what we did - came after hearing about the place from friends so took the kids. Only found out after a long walk over they did vanilla ice cream so kids were disappointed as they prefer flavours. Ice cream was nice though for me!

Watch how skimpy your portions are. They are on a huge cost cutting exercise. The quality is worse than ever, The taste is worse than ever along with the price and portions. GO TO GG ICE CREAM PARLOUR. MUCH MUCH BETTER.
