Went with friends to sample the Caribbean menu, but wish I hadn't. Three of us tried the goat curry & rice & peas. It was the most tasteless goat curry, I have ever eaten & the same for the rice, which was just a tasteless bowl of stodge. Service was efficient but staff were miserable & the lead waitress spoke down to staff in front of the customers. When she asked how our meal was & I said poor, showing her the rice. She responded by telling me me that's what rice & peas should look like 🤦♀️. I was bought up on rice & peas, so know it shouldn't. She did offer to change the meal but it was too late at this point. A very poor Saturday night experience that I wouldn't return to. Ladies toilet facilities left a lot to be desired. A very disappointing dining experience & I definitely wouldn't

Unfortunately I have to leave a negative review which I would not normally do however this once wonderful Chinese has clearly changed hands recently and tumbled very far downhill from being the best Chinese restaurant in Swansea by miles to the worst I've been to in a long time. I'm leaving this review because there is no overt indication that there has been a change of management but it is obvious in a few ways including a distinct lack of Chinese clientele who were once abundant. We were offered traditional vegan and non-vegan menus which were the identical menus we were used to and all ordered familiar dishes. While waiting we were asked several times to confirm items that had been ordered off the menus which has never happened before and communicated a lack of confidence from the kitchen staff. We also all noticed that cutlery was sticky to the touch so clearly not clean and that plates did not look clean (the women's toilet is also pretty disgusting). Then when the food came out nothing looked familiar and in place of the beautiful velveted pork and beef we are accustomed to in our non-vegan dishes were stir fried pork and beef rolls, the kind served on platters for flash-cooking in a hotpot, which were horribly over cooked and chewy. If the restaurant cannot produce the meals on their non-vegan menu, why offer it? The smoky depth of flavour from the wok has also completely vanished. We have been here many times before and have always cleared our plates and wondered at the high standard of the food but this time I ate nothing, it was inedible slop. We also had to endure the chef coming out and speaking loudly with another table declaring the hotpot to be the best in the UK because of the special chillies he uses that can't be sourced by anyone else! Oh come on! A level of arrogance we have never seen even a glimpse of before. Oh come on! A level of arrogance we have never seen even a glimpse of before. To add insult to injury, on being handed our menus, we were directed to observe a sticker that had been placed on the vegan menus saying all prices were increased by £1 for sit-in customers. So we actually paid more to eat much less at a restaurant trying to pass itself off as something it most definitely is not. I can only assume the management has changed - nobody I saw tonight was familiar to me from our previous visits. However even if this isn't the case, there has been a big change here and not a positive one. Whether it has indeed changed hands or just changed suppliers or chefs, I think that the restaurant should be upfront about this rather than trying to pass itself off as the same Star Bar Swansea knows and loves.

Emailed the pub requesting a table a few weeks in advance. Got a reply a week later to say they couldn't guarantee a table as but will book us in anyway. On the day the weather was on the cool side for June, & the pub on a Friday evening had hardly any customers, staff were arrogant and the meals took ages to arrive. Can't recommend and the team need to up their game.

Came across this cafe by chance. Absolutely banging breakfast! 10/10. I had a full veggie breakfast and porridge (I was hungry!) — both were very good. Solid coffee too. Nice atmosphere.

Absolutely shocking prices and food! for a breakfast roll with 1 smashed up egg and half a sausage price £7!!! I waited 20min for food that looked like s#!t scooped up off the floor and squashed into more s#! I will not be going there every again and I will recommend to everyone I know how awful the food and service is there. I would of sed something at the time however, I’m glad I didn’t as I would not have been able to control my language at the slop I was served.

We came in here for an evening meal, the restaurant was quiet and we ordered 2 specials, Fillet Steak and Seafood Combo, meal arrived quite quick and was really delicious, large portions and everything cooked to perfection, steak was perfect and the seafood combo was amazing. I definitely recommend for future visits and we will surely revisit.

Whilst back visiting the family and friends we required a local cafe. Having not been to the new establishment, I jumped at the chance following reviews and photos of food. It did not disappoint!Great barista coffee and a number of options available on the menu. I went for the breakfast brunch bowl. Good atmosphere, very light, plenty of space between tables (Covid friendly) and friendly staff. Can’t wait to try the pancakes!

Treetops is only about two miles from where I live, have to say I have only gone there for funerals and weddings, but it's a nice place and very popular as I said.. it's just myself and my wife like to keep trying different venue's … it's always fresh and clean and the staff have always been really pleasant...

Delicious pub grub! Come here by chance and wanting to try somewhere new, the lounge was busy with customers and service for food was fast. The New Yorker chicken burger was delicious and the steak was tasty. Overall very filling and portions were large. Homemade chips are delicious. would 100% return.

This is by far the best bakery in Swansea/Gower! Everything I've had from Little Valley has been delicious and the service has been very friendly too. Often stop in for a coffee and a pastry. Never disappointed! Paid parking outside (money goes to Gower Heritage Centre I think) or free parking up the road if you buy something from the Gower Inn pub.
