Treetops is only about two miles from where I live, have to say I have only gone there for funerals and weddings, but it's a nice place and very popular as I said.. it's just myself and my wife like to keep trying different venue's … it's always fresh and clean and the staff have always been really pleasant...

Extremely happy with the staff and food. Lovely surroundings and suitable facilities. Made to feel welcome. Carried out my wish to remove the Christmas tree and a member staff did it prior to the gathering. Only dropped one 1 star as entrance was uneven and poorly lit. (One of the guest tripped)

Food was first class and hot. Tribute act was ok and disco. Drinks were a bit expensive for the type of local venue.

Booked for a large family party for lunch at 3pm and to see Santa, added a few more members later and confirmed numbers a few days before, and told then not to come too early. Arrived at 2.55 to see a long queue already formed for the carvery, and to be told that because of 'confusion' over the booking we would have to be on 2 tables even after confirming! We were then sent from the bright bustling function room with jolly Xmas music, bar, carvery and Santa and Mrs Claus doing a meet and greet around the tables to the small restaurant at the back with absolutely no atmosphere although they did put some music on after I asked. As for the food, because we arrived on time we were about the last to eat so there was a small piece of turkey and a few crumbs of pork left but plenty of beef, which in fairness was very tasty but it would have been nice to have a choice. The desserts were nice, the serving staff pleasant and the kids did get to see Santa for a small gift later on. This could have been a 5* review if it hadn't been overbooked and left us like poor relations in the back room away from the action.

This has been our favorite dinner for sunday lunch, A buffet style service with as much as you can fit on your plate, Succulent meats and a great choice of veg at a great price

I attended a family wedding in August and it was a rainy day but the day flowed and didn’t miss being outside, the staff worked hard and were amazing. The room we had lunch in was decorated beautifully and the food which was a beef or turkey gravy dinner was lovely and came with homemade gravy, it was so nice we came back for Sunday lunch!

Mostly very good. Hubby had the ham. 18 yr old grandson had the vegetarian option - Glamorgan sausages. I thought two sausages was a bit mean for an adult portion though ! It certainly didn’t equate to the amount of meat served. I had the beef and ham. Ham was good but beef even though it was lovely and tender lacked taste. Veg was good - peas, carrots, cauliflower, roasted parsnips and swede (even though the swede was frozen it was tasty). There was mashed potatoes and roasties plus a Yorkshire pud. The maitre de was efficient and organised everyone well. Would we return ? Yes we would.

Visited yesterday for Sunday lunch with family for a 70th Birthday, food was excellent piping hot and really fresh ..... loads of thick meat given which is unusual for carvery as most places scrimp on the meat ... I brought more home than I’d eaten ... lovely choice of vegetables and proper homemade Yorkshire puddings 👍🏻 defo worth a visit but I’d recommend booking as it’s a very busy place 10/10 guys well worth it

Attended a wedding here and never been before. Wedding venue nice however food more than excelled my expectations. Soup was thick tasty hot. Beef dinner was amazing with beef so tender with trays of veg u could help yourself to and staff polite and welcoming. Dessert was cheesecake which could have been that bit bigger but that is just me being greedy. Highly satisfying and would definitely recommend.

Treetops did us proud hosting my wife’s 60th birthday party. Great venue, marvellous buffet & superb service with attention to details. Would certainly return for another party. Thank you for making the occasion memorable

Went to the venue for the first time in many many years I was very pleasantly surprised .. what a beautiful place , clean , very bright and cheerful , we only had chicken in the basket but have to say it was excellent I’m very fussy with my food I don’t do cheap chicken nuggets and things like that , but the chicken was really good quality and piping hot as were the chips excellent service by the staff and very friendly and accommodating ... will defo recommend this place .... well done you have a beautiful place

I was invited to a 90th birthday celebratory lunch at the treetops. I took my mum who’s 80 along as well (she loves her dining out & considers herself a bit of a food critic 🤓) All I can say is “wow” how come we’ve never been here before!!! It was a carvery, the food was delicious and home cooked. It was piping hot too which is a bonus in my book.Even my mum was impressed. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. They couldn’t do enough for you. Can’t wait to go back 😀

As a group we went to Treetops last year for our Christmas lunch. It was as good as the owner's other establishment in Clydach. We rebooked this year and it was abysmal. Pate was ok, but served with Branston Pickle and no toast!! I opted for the beef which again was ok. But the rest, well, one frozen roast potato, frozen Yorkshire pudding, cheap frozen peas (not garden) frozen carrots, frozen swede. The boiled baby potatoes were nice. It was all flavourless. I have booked and paid to go there next week with another group, but not looking forward to it. I would rather pay a bit more and something with some flavour. Watch this space for an update!!

Last night I attended a Christmas party at this venue. I could not believe my eyes, our chairs were placed back to back with no room to move. Seriously, I am a size 12 and had to squeeze in sideways to get to my seat. Guests were just jammed in with no thought for their comfort or safety whatsoever. It was so bad, to get out it was easier to go under the table. If the lights had gone out due to a fire and people had smelt smoke, the ensuing panic would have had serious consequences. The waitresses had to pass through this gap (bear in mind at some points there was no gap), with hot soup, hot plates and hot gravy. The food was fine, the staff lovely, the music was painfully loud. I was so concerned about the health and safety aspect of the seating I took photographs in case anything happened. I really hope this issue is addressed immediately, if there is not enough room to seat guests safely and comfortably - don't take the booking.

Went to a wedding on 3 sept what brilliant time I thought it was so nice my grandson booked his wedding there food was tasty staff very considerate and cheerful it would be a big yes off me to go back there again excellent

My Daughter had her wedding there. Wedding Co ordinator Maria didn't bother turning up on the day. Wedding car interior ripped in places. Food OK. Beef lush

We got married here on 9th August 2017 and had an awesome day and night. The staff couldn't do enough for us especially a lady called Babs (she was fantastic and a credit to the place). The wedding breakfast was amazing and the evening buffet was just as good. The place was decorated lovely and a much nicer than what we expected! Would recommend this place to anyone. Well done Treetops and thank you for making our day magical.

I attended the Treetops for a christening celebration today.

Fuimos para una comida familiar y realmente disfrutamos de un ambiente encantador, buena comida y abundante porciones. Aunque estaba ocupado, fue de lo más agradable y que todos realmente pasamos un tiempo fabuloso. Buen aparcamiento, personal excelente, mención especial a la camarera con los clavos y Jason para ser encantador s estrellas.

Esta es la segunda vez que he llevado mi padre aquí día padres en los últimos 3 años y la primera visita fue mucho mejor. Mi esposa reservó este tiempo y nos sorprendió encontrar fue un asador como la última vez no fue así. Para ser sinceros, el lugar ha cambiado de manos y había mucho más gente en esta visita de trabajo así que es obviamente para ellos y estoy contento con eso ya que es un entorno precioso y el personal en ambas visitas fueron excelentes. Fue también buena relación calidad-precio teniendo en cuenta la cantidad de comida disponible. Pero la calidad de la comida era excelente. El primer plato era aburrida y monótona y al asador asado fue decepcionante. Coles eran menores de cocinado y el asado Patacas Chirivías había quemado. La carne estaba bien, pero obviamente no los mejores cortes y las patatas asadas parecían ser los congelados variedad. Mi esposa me pareció que había un extraño sabor a la salsa, pero la verdad es que no me aviso que. Mirar algunos de los comentarios aquí parece que estoy en minoría así que quizá era sólo un mal día o mis expectativas eran demasiado altas. De cualquier manera, no iremos de nuevo.

Nos casamos aquí en el 27 de mayo. Tuvimos un día absolutamente fantástico! ! No tenemos ninguna queja ni un solo fallo. La sala de ceremonia y el comedor era precioso. La comida era excepcional y todos nuestros clientes eran las comidas de los niños eran grandes y más que suficiente. El día dirigido muy sencillo gracias al personal amable y muy servicial. Que los niños estaban felices y el personal no podía hacer lo suficiente para nosotros. Un especial gracias a babs y dale. . . . . . U no solo estaban geniales miembros del personal, pero es muy, muy buena gente, en general, y siempre recordaremos el trabajo duro para que en ambos u nuestro día especial. Recomiendo altamente este lugar para bodas o cualquier tipo de celebración x

Went to a wedding in march it was fabulous from start to finish. The treetops was a lovely place for a wedding, the room that the ceremony was in was lovely then we were out in the gardens for photos beautiful gardens. we had a champagne fountain in the first bar which was lovely with welsh cakes as the groom is English and it was a nice touch for his family. The reception room was beautiful all fairy lights behind white curtains, and the table flower arrangements were amazing, there was a giant LOVE sign all light up as well. the food was absolutely beautiful very tasty and plentiful. The evening reception was also excellent and buffet was fabulous and the DJ was great I would highly recommend the treetops.

A very clean and efficient establishment and the food was hot and tasty and real home made Yorkshire puddings. The desserts were amazing and a good choice too. The staff were helpful without being intrusive and the plates of the finished meal were taken away and not left on the table. A good choice of drinks from the bar and the entire meal and drinks was a delight and I will certainly be going back again.

Tree Tops very generously allowed us to hold our fundraiser for the Encephalitis Society in February. Roy and his team were fantastic! the buffet was great the room looked amazing, Fab people would definately recomend holding any event here.

Like being in Hollywood filming a Clase themed Western. Lost an eye but food was great and entertainment flawless.

came here for sunday lunch and was told on the phone that we would be able to pick from normal menu as some of our party dont necessarily like carvery but when we arrived was told they dont do that !! all the waiters / waitresses where just standing around doing nothing and there was plenty of them around to help ! food was ok but nothing special ! was really hoping for good things from here as been taking over

There are not many restaurants I would go back to for Sunday lunch. Tend to stick to old favourites but after positive feedback from a friend we thought we would give it a try. We re not big eaters so just had the carvery. Meat choices beef, ham or turkey with large Yorkshire puddings, stuffing, roasts, mash, suede, carrots, mushy peas & cauliflower. Hot, Looked & tasted fresh and tasty. Only issue was large queue at bar with staff who did not seem to know what were doing. Although waitresses they would not take drinks order.

Booked for sunday dinner and was so glad we did. Food was hot and worth waiting for. Had two course for £10.95. Staff couldn't do enough for you. Would definitely recommend and looking forward to are next visit.

We chose the Treetops as a venue for our daughters christening because we had heard good reviews from friends. Before the day, the venue planner was helpful and accommodating and went through all details with me to make sure planning was thorough and I was happy. The planner on the day was amazing and very attentive when I arrived to deliver some of my personal touches to add to the venue. All staff were welcoming and ensured the venue and layout was perfect with no job to big when our guests arrived. The duty manager was very professional and couldn't do enough to help us. He made sure he checked in with us throughout the day and when we needed him, he was around and often spoke to our guests which we thought was very kind. We highly recommend this venue for any celebration - the buffet food was delicious and the venue has been recently refurbished and is beautiful. All staff were polite, friendly and helped to make our celebration extra special! Thank you again and hope to see you again soon! Andrew and Sarah Hooke xx

We have just had our wedding here on sat , OMG everything from start to finish was outstanding, where do I begin , firstly the wedding planner , so informative from the start of our wedding , so accurate, so friendly, made us like princess's the ceremony room , stunning , the layout of our room just so classy and perfection, the food to die for pipping hot and the taste was delicious, and lots of it , the staff was so accommodating and very friendly, polite to say the least, one complaint, I didn't want the night to end , so get booking for weddings you won't be disappointed, this is the sister venue to the manor park , we loved it , hope everyone has the same experience as we did .

Large family celebration here recently. Good food although a little mix up with the order, when the food arrived it was worthy of the wait. Waiting staff seemed a little inexperienced but very pleasant and helpful. One tip, if you order a side dish such as a sauce to go with steak or onion rings (which were the best we have tasted) ask if you can have it with the meal not when you have nearly finished. Overall very good though and plenty of variety to suit every taste. Will definitely be returning !!

Visited on a Friday evening for food. Shown to our table and drinks order was taken, and we were left to look at the menu. Our drinks arrived and food order was taken. We had a short wait before our meals arrived, but all five meals were lovely; all freshly cooked and hot. My steak was cooked to perfection. Only two of our party managed dessert. Both of these looked very nice. At no point did we feel rushed. The bill was very good( 5 mains, 2 desserts, bottle of wine, 2 soft drinks and 2 coffees). The waitress was very friendly and attentive, without being OTT. Well done, we will be returning to sample more of the extensive menu.

Excellent value, two meals for £10 Tuesday - Thursday, had a fab meal and treated ourselves to desserts. Restaurant refurbished to a high standard. Staff and service excellent, recommend a visit for substantial meal

We visited for Sunday carvery lunch today and experienced a mixture of feelings about it.The venue was lovely and staff were excellent. Parking was easy there.The choice of beef, gammon and turkey was excellent and all 3 meats were cooked to perfection. The big disappointment however was all of the veg - some of it had been left standing far too long and was dry and tasteless - we then observed the kitchen staff and chef topping up the fresh veg over the old veg ..... Instead of removing the old veg completely as they would do in most places - this then made sense as to why the veg on the bottom of the dish was dried & over cooked -it had been there the longest - I would sincerely suggest that this practice stops ASAP and each time new and fresh veg arrives, the old veg is removed. This had a really negative affect on whether or not we will return again, but we really liked everything else, so that is a shame.I ordered apple pie and cream, but it arrived with custard, looked appetising, so I ate it ! The coffee was only half filled but when we requested additional hot water, it arrived promptly.It is not the best home cooked Sunday lunch we have tasted, but I am hoping it will improve as it offers a lovely venue and nice staff.May try it again in a few months to see if it has refined the veg part of the meal.

Me and my wife had a meal in here today ,got to say she had chicken curry half and half , i had surf and turf got to say reasinable and very good meal well worth a visit

Great service food was lovely, would go again. There was no one else in the restaurant which was a bit weird maybe they need to advertise more as it is a bit hidden away.

Unless you want a carvery meal, don't bother. They will tell you that you can have whatever you want, but on the day, offer you a choice of possibly two meals. Whichever one you choose will be dreadful. I asked for scampi, only to be told "We dont do scampi". My options were sausage and chips, or fish fingers and chips, I chose fish fingers (I would have walked out, but there were over 40 of us at a birthday party). The waitress came and told me they had no fish fingers, I would have to have fish cakes. The chips were cold, burnt, and fat sodden, the fish cakes were also cold, and absolutely disgusting. I will never eat at this Fawlty Towers again. Ive given it a mark of 1 as it is not possible to give a zero, like it deserves.

I've been to a christening party on Saturday 2nd April food was fantastic staff was amazing there. we will definitely go there again it's a lot better since now people have taken over its a lot cleener there fantastic all round x

1, 2 or 3 Course Carvery.Really lovely clean bright room. Staff really friendly.Choice of 3 meats Beef, Turkey & Gammon. Roast Pots, Yorkshire, Stuffing, Mashed Pots, Roast Parsnip, Swede, Cabbage, Peas, Carrots. All fresh.Food was hot and very tasty, very much like home cooked. Will definitely return.

We held our Fathers wake there, we was given a very warm welcome, everything was done perfectly, the food could not be faulted and plenty of it, the staff were friendly and nothing was to much trouble. I would recommend the Treetops to anyone. Thank you everyone.

We held our Golden Wedding on the last Saturday of February.We could not have chosen a better place, the room we held it in was done very tasteful they let our daughter put some finishing touches to it.The service was excellent from the day we booked it right up to the end of the night of our party,would highly recommend the tree tops for any sort of function.Next day we had Sunday lunch there and the food was really good,will definitely go back for lunch again.Mr Thomas the owner should be very proud of all his staff there.

Absolutely amazing, food was stunning staff was on the ball with everything, couldn't fault the place at all, The place has had a beautiful make over due to the new management and we feel it's brought to place back to life, We will definitely be back for other family occasions

Staff frinedly enough but need training as they kept dropping things and didnt know how to serve meals properly.food was the worst I have ever had,the beef was grey.the starter I could not cut into.sack the chef and get staff training.

Large group of us ate here for Sunday lunch. We booked a table before hand but it didn't seem too busy. It's 2 courses for I think it was £6.95 starter and main. I had the bree which was cremated but tasty enough, the prawn cocktail looked fresh and everyone seemed to enjoy that. We all had the roast, I had beef which was ok, chicken was on the bone. Most of us had desserts as I think they were about £3 each. Staff were very friendly and premises lovely and clean. Overall for the price it was good. Would go again
