Delicious pub grub! Come here by chance and wanting to try somewhere new, the lounge was busy with customers and service for food was fast. The New Yorker chicken burger was delicious and the steak was tasty. Overall very filling and portions were large. Homemade chips are delicious. would 100% return.

Absolutely fabulous evening. The staff were great, food was spot on and on the table all together which was no mean feat with nearly 30 of us and a great atmosphere. Even adding and changing meals was no problem which was much appreciated. We'll definitely be back and thank you too all the staff. 😊

Yet again food spot on good choice well served pipping hot good prices there were 5 of us with drinks 62.00 I had steak pie (omg it,s awesome) 2 had Welsh chicken with garlic potato and 2 had burgers 🍔 keep it up thankyou

Fabulous home cooked food in a nice atmosphere. Food was delicious, hot and quickly served. Reasonably sized portion and the staff were friendly, polite and efficient. Menu has changed, but a good selection - always worth a visit.

Most amazing Sunday lunch. Loads of everything, more for the asking. Staff are young and lovely, anxious to please, despite being rushed off their feet. Cant fault any of it. also had evening meals in the past, equally great.

I like both the restaurant part and the sports bar, and there's a garden as well. Clean and comfortable, nice atmosphere, good hot food and very nice staff, but for some reason the lady manager seems incapable of smiling, and always looks as is she's wishing you to go away while she's serving you. She's not exactly rude, but it does make you feel uncomfortable. Apart from that it's great.

The staff here are friendly and efficient except the lady manager who grimaces when a customer approaches the bar for service and doesn't know how to pull a Guinness. otherwise, it's a pleasant environment to have a meal, but I do wish the boss would get her toothache fixed...

We have visited before - many times, but not since Lockdown. Our food was delicious, the ham thick, the Steak tender, the burger huge - the portions were generous. The meals were quickly served, piping hot and reasonably priced. Thanks to all - we will be back.

Had Sunday lunch with my family, the beef was the best beef I’ve tasted in a long while, also the lamb was delicious, the staff were great, very friendly, would recommend going here to anyone.

Went for food just before quiz night as always food was perfect scampi chips what can I say awsome mix grill omg I couldn,t eat that it,s huge my son in law loved it staff are amazing and prices are good

Lovely food hot plenty of it social distancing and great service made the occasion easy and straight forward will return for sure.

Went for Sunday lunch with my family and whilst I cannot fault the dinner it was lovely and tasty, however we were all crammed in like sardines. No distance between tables and literally sitting on top of eachother. It felt very unsafe and pretty pointless wearing a mask to your table when you can touch the stranger sitting next to you.

Haven't been here for years. So we booked in for 10 plus people i had the same old gammon egg chips peas misses had burger chips. Tbh its the FIRST TIME my peas were cooked everywhere iv been in the past the peas never cooked. The gammon at 9oz was ok bit burned but still very nice i dont mind that way same with the burger only little bit burned on the edge. I did sit there for 2mins with food infront of me before we had crockery/sause brought out do it first overall not to bad will go again food was ok service was tidy prices are little lower than other pubs restaurants iv been to. Happy to call again one day as its close to me aswell

Very disappointed have eaten here before with no problems. But last night the barman entered the wrong item into the till, he did realise his mistake but didn't refund the extra i had paid, and secondly I had ordered jacket potato with cheese, it arrived with ham i told the waitress I was vegetarian so couldn't eat it. She took it way and brought it back 2minutes later and when I asked had she just removed the ham, she admitted it wasn't a new dish she had just removed the ham.

What a gemstone of a pub. Arrived with friends for xmas nite out on 13th dec. Food was fully booked but once they had finished all the orders they came and said we could have food. The food was amazing and plentyful. Added bonus was there was a band playing at 9 and they were brilliant! Fab atmosphere staff were happy. Will def b returning

We were a party of 21 people out for a birthday meal and chose here as there were some good reviews and everyone was glad we did. The food and service was excellent and with all of us ordering the food still came out practically all together and they all enjoyed the food. Will definitely be returning to here again.

Visited on a late Sunday afternoon, they kindly squeezed us in. We had roast beef dinner, it was absolutely delicious! Really generous portions, the beef and gravy were perfect!Reasonable prices,friendly staff, great service, lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended.

we go every Wednesday as there is a quiz and we often eat here just before quiz the menu has something for everyone last week had scampi sweet potato chips peas

Me and my mates decided on going here to watch the Final after great reviews off other friends who regularly use here for sporting events. The atmosphere was unbelievable, the place was bouncing and the staff were very friendly considering how busy it was, will definetly be calling there again. Met here for lunch and a chat. We chose from the 2 for £12 menu. My breaded plaice and chips was delicious. Friend’s choice of ham egg and chips looked very nice too. Good value food in a pleasant atmosphere.

Met up for a mid-week lunch with family, nice decor and pleasant, helpful staff. Quite an extensive menu but we ate from the "2 for £12" menu. Food was freshly cooked and tasty.

Went for Sunday Lunch for our Mums birthday so we were a large group very friendly welcome and excellent service. The Lunch was First class I had the beef that just melted in the mouth and a generous portion will definitely go back

Here with all my family for Mothers day, roast lunch for all of us and it was absolutely gorgeous!!! Tastes like a proper homemade roast, just waiting for a scrummy desert.... nom nom

Absolutly terrible customer service. The staff are miserable. I ordered a steak which was cooked incorrectly and there was a hair in it. When the staff were made aware they seemed to not to be bothered. The decore there is out of date and the childrens play area isnt very safe for younger children (crancy single slide). When our children wanted to leave the fire door open to access us and the play area, the owener kept moaning and closing the door. This is bearing in mind our children are young and could have been ran over accesing the alternative route back in to the pub through a car park!

Visited with a few family members. Food was very reasonably priced and very tasty. Good selection of drinks, also reasonably priced. Friendly staff, lots of outside seating, fast service and a bar area if you don't fancy food. We fed 3 adults and 2 kids (including drinks) for just shy of £48.

What a find - this place closed for a spell - but we popped in for Sunday lunch when passing and it was amazing. Friendly, efficient staff - all smiling!

It's been my local for thirty years but it's never been better. The food is lovely and so reasonable and the Sunday lunch is beautiful. So tasty and well worth the visit if you're coming from a distance.

This was my first visit and most certainly not my last. A very clean well run establishment serving a variety of reasonably priced foods to suit all tastes and diets. The food was fresh and hot and served after only a short wait. There is a good child's menu and all foods are well presented ( a child's high chair is available). The drinks were very good. Staff are very obliging.

This is our second visit, lounge decor is very tired and old looking but very clean, don’t be put off by this. I had a Gin drink and was served as good as any cocktail bar. Our food was freshly cooked, hot and plentiful both meals were perfect the waitress that served us was very nice in making sure we had everything. Whether it’s afternoon lunch or evening meal I would definitely recommend it x

Food here is really good and very reasonably priced, great variety menu. Clean comfortable, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Would recommend to anyone looking for a pub meal, that's so much better than all the chain pubs.

Been here on few occasions & it never disappoints me, food is delicious, always well presented & staff are polite & always happy. Usually have salad with my food & it’s always fresh & plenty of variety. Sunday lunch is the best ever with plenty of veg & homemade gravy. They have a very good menu with plenty of choice at reasonable prices with a choice of some meals at 2 for £11. Haven’t tried the desserts yet but I will as they look divine. Kids menu is very good too & tables are always clean & well presented, serving staff are very well trained & I like that they come & ask if everything is ok with your meal.

First visit here but will not be the last ....Excellent Sunday Lunch !! Friendly Service Booking will be essential soon as the word goes around on how good the lunch here is !!!

Been here a few times, food has always been really nice, no complaints! Would definitely recommend. Staff are pleasant and service is pretty quick. Would recommend booking as we have been turned away a couple of times due to them being so busy.

Good variety of choice on the menu ,food was well presented and tasty staff lovely and looked after us well.

Absolutely beautiful, tried a lot of dinners in Swansea and this ones deffo in my top 5. The veg is lovely and the meat is melt in your mouth and the home made gravy is tasty and rounds up a stunning Sunday dinner.

We had a wonderful meal here last week, a bit of a wait but well worth it and the bar and toilet's have all been refurbished can't wait to go again
