Stopped off for a drink. Lots of options for alcohol & soft drinks (no soft drinks available on tap, but plenty of the canned variety). Bar and lounge next to each other with a semi open plan design, so you can walk through to either. Customer car park, toilets & outside seating. Dogs permitted indoors and outdoors. Live band (saw them setting up for this).

Great place to come for food. The Sunday dinner is really nice and tasty and was great value. Will definitely go back as it's just around the corner and cheaper than putting the oven on!

Polite staff, beautiful warm fire, and general cozy feel. Sadly let down by the food. We were a party of 7. Starters were lovely but unfortunately the mains were largely inedible. The chicken curry was bland and tasted mostly like butter, the burger was overcooked and grey, and the mushroom stroganoff was very watery (possibly improperly drained rice?) Waitress was also a little heavy handed giving us meals to the point where they nearly spilled! The staff did take the meals that weren't right off the bill which was greatly appreciated. Sadly I don't think we would ever return here for a meal. Very sorry.

Just enjoyed a fabulous meal here, my steak was cooked to perfection and the pepper corn sauce was delicious, the staff were super friendly, a really warm welcome and we will definitely visit again. The log fire was lit, the atmosphere cosy …. Really didn’t want to leave…. Thank you all x

Popped in for lunch. Very busy but service was quick and staff were very friendly. The Chilli burger was excellent. I remember the Masons from the late 70s. Different layout and owners but still a great pub

First and not our last visit for Sunday lunch. Service was amazing such lovely staff. And what can i say the lunch was outstanding. Beautifully cooked turkey with all the trimmings, carrots peas swede and cabbage piping hot and the most important part the home made gravy. 5* we will be back

Oh dear what a disappointment! We ( my wife and myself) had a vegetarian Sunday lunch and it was awful. The veggie options were sausages and mushroom stroganoff - a strange thing to have with vegetables. We opted for sausages. These were a strange beige colour with a powdery coating. Gave them a try - tasteless as were the vegetables. They lacked sufficient seasoning needing more salt. The cubed swede was obviously warmed up from the freezer and the peas were like bullets. We had an apology from the cook and a denial about the seasoning. This was not a good meal and standards have slipped badly. The pub used to serve up very good Sunday lunches. Something is going wrong. Will not be recommending this pub to anyone at present.

Very tasty food with extremely lovely staff in a brilliant venue situated in a rural area not to far from the lovely Lliw Reservoir. Recommend you call in whether it be for a meal snack or just a drink.

Have not been to the Mason's Arms for a long time so not sure what to expect, it was excellent food lovely, service first class and atmosphere great,will be visiting again soon.

Really tasty food! The burger was delicious! There are 2 pub dogs which is lovely, but would be better to have some control over them as my dog did not like one of them but staff did not stop dog from constantly coming over as it was not on a lead. My dog was on a lead and I ended up leaving straight after food as it could have ended badly!

Food is amazing. Very friendly staff and the owner Anna is brilliant. I'm celiac and my partner is vegetarian. Anna will always do her best to cook for us. Sometimes things are not on the menu. All you need to do is ask and they will always change things to suit your needs. The Sunday lunch is the best.

What an excellent Sunday lunch, always good meat and vegetables. Been a few times before and always good to return. Good value as well, can't wait for the next visit.

Nice friendly family orientated pub. Good food and choice of beers with Reverend James being one of them. Live music band was a bonus.

Great place for family party. A little way out, but ample parking. Friendly staff & lovely buffet ( plenty of it, too !). The Barn is a great addition & gives a more intimate venue.

I've used this facility many times before the lockdown and found it OK. The band Half Tidy were playing live there last night 13-06-2021, this is one hell of a good band so I booked a table for myself and the missus. I arrived and went to my table which was behind a load of bushes, I couldn't see the band so I pulled a small table and x2 chairs out next to my reserved table, up came the order maid, "what would you like to drink sir and put that table and chairs back". What happened to "please" and "I'm sorry, but because of the Dracula Flu we have to keep the setup we have" I was not happy and we both left. Sorry I missed the band, but I am a customer not and animal. Mason Arms please teach manner's to your staff Last night Half Tidy were playing

Nice 2 course sunday lunch and quick service

Not sure who's reviews i'm reading (should be checked). I found it overall average to poor. Parked in carpark & a van (local) was part blocking entrance gate to beer garden, not very welcoming. Only one Ale on offer. Ordered homemade burger with, added cheese & bacon. 5/10. MEAL. Very small wooden plate. Chips......nice but not great Bun.........very dry, didnt eat it all Salad garnish... inside the burger, not enough room on plate for it. Burger....only item gave it a 5/10 Bacon....cheap Cheese...had no taste. Coleslaw...could only taste vinegar Tennants/owners. Consumed with themselves, as a customer I felt a little ignored, no welcome & waited for service while they chatted. Needs much improvement for me to return

Very quiet on a weekday lunchtime. Was not made to feel welcome unfortunately.

Good welcome wholesome pub food

Went for Sunday Lunch, its not a carvery but lovely food, choice of beef pork or turkey. My only fault is the vegetables are served on your plate and not separately, when we requested two of the vegetable choices not wanted there was no alternative or given any extra of the other vegetables. They do take away lunches but you do need to take your own plate and a container for the gravy.

Beautiful Sunday Lunch Warm Relaxed atmosphere. Old Coaching House with lots of links to the passed. Can be Romantic on chilly winter evenings. Family Oriented on Summer Days with it's enclosed court yard like beer garden. No children's swings but plenty of room to play. working hard to create a happy safe environment...very impressed with on going improvements. Spent a lovely afternoon remembering times from way back!

Nice peaceful place with good food.

Absolutely outstanding pub. I hosted a baby shower there for my friend for 40 ladies, and we had an afternoon tea. Seriously the best afternoon tea ever. The food was delicious and there was so much of it, nobody went hungry, everytime the staff saw the plates getting empty they brought out more. The service was incredible the staff couldn't do enough for us. Thank you so much for everything.
