The best restaurants in Uplands Swansea South Wales

I come in here every now and again to work. It’s always a really welcoming place, they have great wifi, and have lots of tables and charging points upstairs (and this is usually very quiet) so it’s a perfect working or reading spot. A pot of tea is £3 which is about average. This is a clean and vibey place and very enjoyable to work in. My only issue is in attempting to stick to their aesthetic, none of their chairs properly fit under the table which is very annoying when wanting to sit up at the table. Please can you get chairs where you can actually sit under the table! As well as this, please can you make sugar available on all tables instead of giving individual cubes where I have to go down and get more. Very minor points as love this place!

I’ve never left a review before but this was too dreadful not too! Horrendous customer service after we ordered over £90 worth of food, delivery driver delivered food to the wrong address with nothing to let us know it had been delivered! When calling to request a refund I was told that I’d made a mistake and to double check with my house and that I should’ve contacted them earlier (even though we waited the allocated delivery time -1hr) We were then hung up on by a member of the team whilst we were attempting to claim our money back 2 hours after our delivery with no food! If I could leave a lower review I would! I suggest no one risks wasting any money on this terrible/rude business!

Top Tier bar, all the staff are so friendly and helpful. Aaron working security especially made us feel welcome and provided us with great service. Big up bookshop x

The place is spacious and provides ample seating. It's an ideal spot to relax or work on a laptop. Cleanliness is maintained for sone extent. Coffee was good but had to wait more than fifteen minutes for it to be ready.

Fantastic pasties but truly terribly rude staff. One woman is very nice and welcoming but mostly everyone else is quite rude. Went in asking for 12 corned beef pasties and the lady told me we must preorder that quantity and we cannot just turn up and ask for them. Sorry for wanting to buy pasties at a pasty shop! Anyway included is a photo of my 12 pasties!

What a shambles! Inexperienced staff that can’t do anything. Unhygienic chef wiping his nose on his sleeve. Only what I can guess are the owners looking shabby in slippers swearing across the lounge area. I wouldn’t recommend this place if was the only place to eat!

Was okay, lovely service but the food was bland. Used to visit all the time whilst a student at university but have found ghe foid is losing flavour.

It’s really rubbish, they only accept cash, the attitude is bad, and the food is terrible.

I ordered delivery from this place for the first time, having recently moved to Swansea. I ordered on Just Eat and it arrived in the expected time window, and the delivery guy followed my instructions perfectly. Then I discovered there had been a mix up as I'd ordered chicken korma and chips with onion bhajis, and what I got was a bright red chicken curry with egg fried rice and a naan with meat baked into it. In the spirit of adventure (and hunger) I ate it. Sorry not sorry to whoever actually ordered it. It was all hot (temperature wise) and tasty as heck. Now I just have to find out what it was so I can order it again! But I'll use the Swansea Eats app next time, as recommended in the flyer they popped in the bag. I hope the customer who got my korma enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed their dinner. *burps gently*
