What a shambles! Inexperienced staff that can’t do anything. Unhygienic chef wiping his nose on his sleeve. Only what I can guess are the owners looking shabby in slippers swearing across the lounge area. I wouldn’t recommend this place if was the only place to eat!

To trip advisor staff... Please note the The Rhyddings Pub is NOT in Reynoldston which is in Gower.. It is in Brynmill which is in Swansea City. Their Sunday roast is large, delicious, and very reasonable.

On my 5th time at the rhyddings I finally decided to write my review, due to the fact that not only (yet again) could I not buy a pint because you can only use your card to pay if you buy food (despite new EU regulation stating there is no minimum pay on card payments) and the fact that the only food available was a carvery, which upon my arrival was nearly out of food anyway. Terrible atmosphere, got kicked off my table by a local whilst I was playing darts, service is appalling and I shall not be returning.

First time here for Carvery as It was recommended to us, There was beef, turkey and ham to choose from. A choice of 7 veg and the usual Yorkshire puds, stuffing and gravy etc. Excellent value for money. We all thoroughly enjoyed and will definitely be going again.

Joined friends for lunch at The Rhyddings and found that they serve a Carvery from 12pm - 4pm. We were lucky to get a table as a lot had been reserved. My friend had the Turkey and Gammon & I had the Beef & Gammon there were roast potatoes, stuffing, Yorkshire puddings, mashed potatoes, swede, green beans, peas, carrots, cauliflower cheese, cabbage and gravy. Also all the sauces to go with them and it was absolutely delicious. The price was excellent too. £6.95 and for children/oap - £4.95. My friend's son had off the pub menu, a burger called The Big Boy and it looked delicious. Would definitely recommend you visit. The staff are very friendly and helpful too.

This restaurant offers good welsh food. The service is very fast and friendly. Choose your beer out of about six different ones. Food is ok. The other people visiting this bar are sometimes a bit drunk, I think. But you can play dart, billiards or at an automate gamer.

Met a friend from Swansea after a few hours at St Helens cricket ground. (the Cricketers has sadly closed down). Old fashioned venue with two rooms, large windows offerering good places to sit and watch the world go by plus a small garden area. Our trip was spoiled by two noisy, large, smelly dogs which were allowed to bark and wander freely around the rooms and even behind the bar so we left after one drink. I would give it another try as it is such a great imposing building and I have wanted to see inside for years

Arrived late at 4pm, quiet Sunday afternoon. Phoned 10mins before, ordered 9 Sunday dinners, were on the table 10mins after ordering. Huge portions, good quality, nicely priced.

Excellent value for money, lovely meals - I had roast pork dinner, lots of roasties, mash, swede, green beans, carrots, cabbage and cauliflower and lots of pork, stuffing and Yorkshire pudding absolutely lovely, the others had Gammon & Chips, Mixed Grill, Lasange & Chips and along with drinks for 5 people it came to under £50.00. Students catered for and locals too. Staff really friendly. Will definitely recommend and go again

This restaurant is now called the Golden Curry and is under new management so Trip Advisor you need to change some of the information on your site.We went for a meal on Saturday night and it was absolutely stunning. Fresh, colourful, tasty with beautiful herbs and spices. My king prawns were the best I have ever tasted. The staff could not possibly have been more attentive. Such lovely people. Highly recommended!

Jennie was great, she recommended the Boss Burger with kebab topped chips and it was great. Only issue I didn't have room for dessert as it was a larger portion that I anticipated for the price I paid.
