Staff were really friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was really relaxed, and the Christmas decorations were really pretty. Food and drinks were lovely. Thank you for a lovely evening. We'll be back soon.

Booked a table for a meal for myself, my husband and our two small children to celebrate my birthday. Staff are so polite and helpful, and service was really quick. We have been here before and will definitely be coming back again.

We took 2 Rainbow girl guides units for a meal, the 22 girls were aged between 4-7 with 5 leaders. Darren (manager) made sure everything ran smoothly and both he and Tom were fantastic and friendly with the girls, such an easygoing and stress free meal with so many small children and all down to how well the pub is run. Any issues are resolved really quickly. Thank you so much for time with you I know the girls really enjoyed their meals and had a fun time 😉

We had a lovely meal with our group of Rainbow Guides. The food was lovely and the service from Darren and his team was excellent.

Impeccable service .what a lovely attitude the staff had here on 11/12/2024.7.30pm.nothing was to much trouble to explain things when asked. Certain other sizzling pubs could learn from these staff.

I went here the other day with my partner, Yummy, traditional pub food. Staff were friendly, and food came out promptly. Nice pub in Swansea.

Still as bad as it was 10 years ago slow service low quality food. Told us when our food arrived some items weren't available. Did get a refund for these items.

Went for lunch today, had the 2 for £11.75 deal. Fish and chips was excellent, light batter, large portion of fish and tasty with peas and chips. Lasagne was very tasty, lots of flavour and went well with the garlic slices. Great value lunch , we will be back.

We absolutely enjoyed our evening meal. The staff and the service was amazing even though they were very busy. We shall definitely be returning.

When ordering mixed grill from phone would like to have also a option of having no mushrooms or onion rings

Good was good and came quite quick but dessert never arrived, after waiting an hour and half after ordering I had to ask for a refund. I was told they didn't realise a dessert had been ordered and there was only a handful of people in the pub. Poor service

Awful experience will never go back waited 45 minutes for starters and 20 for drinks Bear in mind only a table of 4. Soon as starters come we ordered mains just incase we would be waiting ages well when it come it was horrific couldn’t eat it. Under cooked mixed grill. My hunters chicken would was awful and the children’s meal was to sent all back. And the front of house did issues us a refund on main meals. But it’s besides point was horrid. The chef should be ashamed poor communication kitchen staff was telling. Front of house different did feel sorry for him he was trying his beast

Upon arrival we had to wait 5 minutes to be seen to, ordered my free drink for first time using the app and sat at our table, went up to order food, again waited 10 mins as nobody behind the bar, got fed up so went back to the table and ordered through the app, our order went through at 5:15pm, our soft drinks arrived at the table soon after, then waited an hour before asking a member of staff where our food was as the wait was quite long, it wasn't overly busy there. We were told that a large table of orders had gone in just before ours hence the delay, we were given another drink each on the house but it was a small compensation for the long wait. The food was nice when it eventually arrived but the serving times were shocking and could be improved drastically.

All very poor no taste to the food took over an hour to come and it really wasn't that busy there . I have been to other sizzler pubs which were absolutely fantastic and was expecting this experience to be the same but unfortunately not .

absolutely appalling food me and my family were not happy as the food was cold and clearly the fries were saturated in chilly will not be coming again and we nearly waited 2 hours for the food

The place was severely understaffed. You only had one person at the bar which was having to take food orders, drinks orders and app orders. Our food took (from payment), 1 hour and 20 minutes to come to our table. We had no update when we arrived that there would be a wait on food and we was not updated during this period that our food was taking longer than usual. The sizzling food was great but the mixed grill chips and chicken was cold and did not eat. My son's burger was also cold which he left. Absolutely devastated to be honest as it was a birthday meal. I understand the chef was told to go on lunch early because they were busy in the evening so the afternoon customers have suffered. Numerous people left waiting for food and asking for a refund. I hope you can turn this around because I've never known it to be so bad so I'm not sure what's changed.

Waited 1 hour 10 mins for food. Had to ask the servers where food is. Mixed grill was overoooked meats, soggy chips with no egg, so very dry Very poor indeed

Called in here for some lunch on a Sunday, the pub was empty when we arrived so no excuse for bad food. Pepsi glasses were covered in a residue so couldn’t drink them (oily stuff on top of the drink). Family member had a steak which had been deep fried not even put on a grill. Sausages were raw and not edible. Mixed grill burnt on one side uncooked the other side, I work in a pub myself and I can assure you that them steaks were microwaved and deep fried. Chef went to the toilet and he was stinking dirty.. Sorry but we won’t be back as it’s gone absolutely vile. Never again!

Called today for lunch. Staff were really friendly and helpful. I shared the boneless chicken for 3 with my grandson along with chips and garlic bread. My husband ordered the surf and turf. The chicken was really tasty, 9 pieces with 2 slices of garlic bread and chips, came with 3 dips ,we really enjoyed. The rump steak was delicious, served medium as requested, it was tender and tasty, served with onion rings,mushroom, tomato and fries. Also ordered a pepper sauce...which was quite hot 🔥 but very tasty. We had a lovely relaxed lunch and look forward to returning.

Very happy and pleased with the service I received, and would 100% go again and plan a family meal or go there for lunch with friends. Couldn't be happier with the staff and the food quality. Thank you for your lovely service and approachable staff members.

Called in on the off chance . Not very busy . Found table ok . Ordered girl at till did nt seem very interested got my drink wrong . Waited nearly an hour for food mine mixed grill was ok . Chips went cold very quickly . My wifes was chill hollomi . Well . We found the veg . Very oilie and not much taste and there was 3 small pieces of hollomi not worth 10 pounds her chips were again cold the rice was over cooked . The place seemed very dark and not very inviting will not be back . Not worth the money or the drive to get there

Waited 1 hour and 10 minutes for my meal to come, no mushrooms and no tomato, no apology for the wait, nothing extra provided for the missing items from the meal. The most grumpy/rude waitress we have ever come across, won't bother going there again

Called in for lunch. Great food at a reasonable price, friendly staff and food was served within 15 minutes. Definitely worth a visit.

Went there tonight (Sept 12th) for food,booked for 7pm,had to wait over an hour for food even though it wasn't that busy,our meals were awful,mixed grill was burnt,sausage,steak & onion rings couldn't eat them they were that bad & my steak was tough,had a full refund back on both meals,won't be returning.

I went to the Fendrod in June 2024, the day the first Euro football match was on, so obviously it was packed. That was the only problem. Increased wait times. Lovely place, lovely employees, lovely food, problem is increased wait time but it isn't their fault!

Visited the Fendrod on a rainy Monday afternoon, only to have the best service from Scott-t-pus and Darren. The food was spectacular and the drinks were flowing, fantastic offer on the wines, highly recommend and we will definitely be back. It definitely makes a visit so much better when the staff are awesome! 5 *****

Must say.. its the first time I have ever been there for food.. and food was absolutely outstanding, perfect size portion and cooked to perfection. And staff very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended place. Will 100% be going back there.

Awful. Ordered at table as advised would be quicker. Took 30mins to get a coffee. Took another 35mins to get one meal. Waitress dumped food on table and said cutlery over there pointing to other end of room, which she passed getting to me. Food - 3 dry sausages, 1 teaspoon of peas (not joking) mash that was not creamy but hard, and 2 tablespoons of gravy. All at a cost of £16.45 Never ever come here again- waste of time and money

Visited today (20.07.24) and it was extremely busy, but the very few staff were excellent. Food was as good usual. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff even though you could see they were run off their feet.

Me and my husband called in today around 4 there was no one in there at all only a few outside we asked for a table for 2 one gentleman very rude went to check with someone came back he said yes ok and took us to a tall round table with high chairs and said that's the only one they had we looked at other tables when he went out behind the bar didn't even offer us a drink the tables weren't booked until after 6 but he told us they were fully booked we would never go there again he just walked off and left us no wander it was empty in there 😡

Went with 2 of my granddaughters I can't fault any of our visit the service was excellent the staff were wonderful and the food was delicious. I have a thing about toilets in places I go but they're toilets were spotless and all working brilliant afternoon I would recommend a visit anytime

Been coming here for 19 years and never had a bad meal. Staff always friendly and helpful and you get good discounts when you sign up to the newsletter. Still keep going back for more, and it is very reasonable on price.

We reserved a table for 5 people. Upon arriving we were informed the wait for food would be an hour so we decided to find somewhere else to eat. Not saying this is bad it happens sometimes it can't be helped. I would come again.

If I could give zero stars for the food I would,I am totally disappointed as when my fish arrived I noticed it had a hair on it. Took it up to the counter they asked if I wanted a fresh fish. No thanks I want a refund as once I see something like that it puts me off. The staff were great behind the bar however I noticed that the woman working in the kitchen was not wearing a hair net either!!😠

Came for a quick bite to eat.. I know this is only a chain pub and we weren’t expecting amazing food but overall it was very poor compared to many other pubs of the same branch. We had to get our drinks ourselves after ordering from the bar as it was so slow with service. Waited 35 mins for the food even though it was quiet in there. Only ordered two burgers and chips. The chips were awful (tasted like old potatoes) weren’t even salvageable with vinegar and salt. The burgers were ok but I don’t think you can go far wrong with a burger Wouldn’t come here again don’t recommend

Ordered via Uber eats for a family of 4 Firstly we were missing several items (onion rings, corn in the cob) the additional side salad was literally just a pot of lettuce. The chicken burgers were so overcooked while also being raw in the middle, how they achieved this I don't know! Never again, awful awful food .

tom was big help and and took time to make my cocktails even tho he was only bar staff on they usaly have a pre mix ready but nothing made up yet as it was earlier but took time to cater to what I wonted Nice lad lovely food

Went because we had a 25% off voucher, tried to use it at the bar, apparently it wouldn't go through so we couldn't use it. 1 bloke on bar taking orders for food and drinks on his own! Friday night for goodness sake, get more staff. Told it probably be 40 minutes wait. Atmosphere wasn't great some rowdy people just drinking, puts us all off to be honest and there were children in the pub. Food was only ok, my son's food was very disappointing, he couldn't eat the peas or chips, so he was upset. My partner's food was over cooked and hard to eat. Mine was ok but I was still hungry after the chicken gyros which was supposed to be ultimate plate! Staff called everyone guys, which I absolutely hate, I'm a girl not a man! overall we wont be going back, waste of money because we couldn't get the 25% off and we just didn't feel comfortable. Sorry but things need to change and this is an honest review.

Turned up late on a Sunday. Lucky for us they kindly agreed to still serve food. Really friendly man behind the bar, was interested to take time to talk to us and recommended for us to visit Tenby whilst we’re visiting Wales. Now heading there! Would recommend this place :-)

Sorry to say the food was dreadful. Two mega mixed grills, nothing mega about them. Nothing sizzling about them. Chicken breast tasteless, gammon cold and salty, steak was so tough and rubbery, don't think the cook, cannot call him/her a chef knows the difference between medium and well done. Mushrooms were cold and limp, sausages burnt, in fact all of the meal was tasteless. No onion rings, lack of condiments and cutlery dirty. Pity really as the bar staff are pleasant enough although it is about time staff shortages were sorted, it is no excuse for a pub chain not to provide a good service. Too often staff seem to congregate on their mobile phones and ignore customers. It is the same staff that are 100% the rest let them down. Suprised this morning to see the Fendrod replied after two months. I know service is slow but this takes the concern allegedly they have to another meaning. Too many times the tables are left for hours without having plates and cutlery or glasses removed. Customers have to move them either to another table or to the bar while staff congregate at the end chatting or one in particular always on her phone and thinks its an inconvenience to actually work. To be told its not really my job to serve drinks as they work in the kitchen normally is just a joke. What is that persons job normally? Lack of management or supervision. It is a service industry not a social gathering where customers are deemed an inconvenience. I cannot see where you are working hard to improve. It is just a generic response, a get out statement. It would be a pity to lose your hard working members who for the majority lazy ones are tarred with the same brush. The owners need to wake up and look after their business and weed out the lazy staff who don't understand the meaning of customer service and satisfaction.

I came with my family and it was quite empty, less people than normal. And we ordered not long after we came in. And it has been 50 minutes, it has never taken this long. People who have came here way after us have gotten their food before us. I understand if the food takes long time to get ready but we have ordered these foods before and it has never ever taken so long. Its honestly ridiculous, i know they didn't forget us as i saw them point at us and look at us. If it was a problem and it was gonna take long i would at-least like someone to say to us that it would take long. The food finally came after one of us went to ask, which is either a coincidence or it was a plan. If they forgot its also ridiculous if they pointed at us. Do better!

Staff not very friendly. No checks if food served was OK. I had lasagne which was cremated in the microwave and rock hard garlic bread. Hubbies chips looked old, no pineapple with gammon as stated. Dirty Fries rock hard and small portion. Spent £23 and not worth it. Don't bother.

Made feel very welcome, Lloyd went over and above. He was happy to talk to me as I was there alone. I went for food the following night. Food and drink couldn't fault. Staff very polite and helpful. I will return next time I'm in the area

Came for my daughters 16th birthday. Had the table I asked for which was amazing. Out of the way as my youngest daughter cant handle crowds. Staff were very friendly. Food was amazing. We all really enjoyed. Thankyou for accommodating us for my daughters birthday

Absolutely shambles of a place. Got there at 13:50, tables were still full of plates from people before, still weren’t cleared by the time we left at 15:30, food come out stuff missing, steak over cooked then sent back everyone finished food then went to get refund then suddenly come out as I was by the bar. Waitress not come to table to check we had everything. No staff there do not bother going here absolutely the worst place I have been for food service included.

Pick your own cutlery the boxes they were kept in were in need of a wash as they were dirty. One fork I picked up still had egg all over it. Not enough staff to cover the lunch period. Tables not cleaned promptly

I wasn’t expecting to have such a great time at the Fenrod due to its location but Tom was such a great laugh, he made my party of four wet themselves with such great humour! The burger was amazing for the price! Would definitely recommend!
