Take 6 of our elderly residents here for lunch, lovely welcome, lovely food and reasonably priced, it's a regular place for us now 😊

Had been to this restaurant for lunch. Ordered Smoothened chicken with chips and Thai vegetable curry with rice. The taste was decent and portion size was sufficient. Decent location and nice ambience. They have Value save menu from 12PM which is very cheap. Would recommend to visit this restaurant.

Nice venue, table booked for 5pm, food arrived in a decent time and was tasty, when we arrived the server informed me that all the staff that had been in that day had now left and they were just covering, I asked about the Sunday roast as it is advertised till 6pm but was told "they closed it early" so that wasn't an option, the server couldn't get into the laptop as she didn't have the password to book us in, the children's play area was also closed, the venue wasn't busy as only half the tables were sat at, it was a shame as we took our relatives in from hong kong to try a Sunday roast, the meat on the mixed grill was also small.

Lovely restaurant, nice environment too

We visited on Mother's day for a 3 course carvery meal. The staff were all lovely, especially Lois behind the bar who I had a laugh with & the very happy singing man serving at the meat station. The carvery quality was MUCH higher than Toby C. Big portions of meat, stunning roasties, veg fresh & topped up frequently and everything was cooked very very nicely. Our first visit here but it will certainly not be the last. Highly recommend trying this place, especially as the carvery prices are so good!

Visited for lunch with my friend and children, reasonably priced and nice environment, food arrived and midway through eating my meal I find a SLUG on my plate in amongst my peas, I raised the issue with staff and the manager didn’t seem bothered and just responded “that’s not good” and walked away to leave the waitress deal with the situation, the waitress was very apologetic and dealt with it the right way however I was disgusted at the managers, they didn’t seem concerned one bit that a customer had just found a slug in their meal.. AVOID at all costs unless you like slugs🤢

Called here for lunch (Saturday 8th March), arrived at about 11:20. The website says opens at 11:30, so we waited until 11:37, nothing. Called the phone line and they said that they open at 12. Ironically we ended up somewhere else that we actually prefer now, wouldn’t have found it if we had gone here.

Me and my friend went for food today with two little ones and our chips was cold and hard and salad and coleslaw looked like it was yesterdays and portion size was small considering the price for the smothered chicken. Coke didn't taste like coke either. Very poor. Won't go again.

I’m a local and I think it’s the last time I’m coming here for breakfast. If you haven’t booked then you have to go through the waitress’s ritual of tut tutting, looking into the restaurant then back at me with a defeated expression. And then as she always does (I’ve been coming here for years) … she goes and asks someone if he can fit us in and as always… he says yes. The people behind us in the queue told her “the hotel told us we didn’t need to book” but they got the withered look too. Wouldn’t it be better if she says “it’s busy, but let me see what I can do for you” there were more than enough available tables. Just fed up of being treated like this. Coupled with the fact that the Apple and orange juice barrels were empty for the duration of my visit and the hot drinks machine stuck on standby, it’s just not worth the money or my custom.

Wow first experience of Sunday lunch today and what about absolutely stunning meal and the service from the smiley staff was second to none. £12.95 for lunch was so reasobable and knocked spots of it's 'big carvery' competitors. The lovely chef serving the lunch made my day ...so happy in his work and so smiley and friendly with the customers. All the staff were welcoming and friendly and the food was stunning and plentiful. Will definitely be returning and will almost definitely be our new favourite!!! Well done everyone at Brewers Fayre.

Excellent food ,very good succulent Rump steak ,peas were very cold though,I may of mentioned that if any of the numerous staff would of at least asked if everything was ok ,but sadly too busy chatting amongst themselves . Not much in the way of vegan options ,but burger was enjoyed by said Vegan ! Very quiet but maybe to be expected this time of year

First time visiting as a party of 14 meeting up as we couldn't get together over Christmas. Staff were super friendly and really happy. The soft play was great for the littles. The food was unfortunate, the starters were inconsistent. 3 of us chose the Calamari. 1 had 9 pieces which looked very bare on the plate. The next had 11 pieces and the next plate contained 14 pieces. It looked nothing like advertised on the menu! The main course were brought out, and a few were cold. In all fairness the waitress took them back and brought out fresh, hot food! She was very apolog service and dealing with the issues professionally. Just on this occasion I can't say that the food was great.

Staff are so polite and friendly, can't fault it. I'm writing this before reading any reviews , I find the potions really small, my partner loves his chips , and he always has to buy extra chips and starters or he still hungry 🤣🫣 . Food isn't 5 star, would say more like a 3star, it's not the worse ive had, but I will say, the play area is amazing for our 20month old, so much better coming here than the play zone etc , just wish the food was a bit better. But the service and the staff, can't fault it, been here a lot lately as we find it better here as not over crowded , and to busy in play area, fab we can eat in there also. Cleanliness is 10/10 , toilets are immaculate. Food was more on the cold side, that did put me off also a lot. And been like that the last 3 times I've eat there in 2months

If I could leave a 0 star I would. I would never go here again for food! Booked for Christmas dinner last year paid over £200 and we only had half an hour to eat and the bar was shut! We had children with us as-well so it wasn’t fair on them to be rushed. Our table was booked at 4pm, didn’t get in until 4:20 by the time food come out is was half 4 and then the gammon wasn’t cooked at all tried to give us food poisoning from it, put us right off our food, plus they were cleaning up around us so we felt right out of place considering they weren’t closing until later double checked the times with them before hand, but to be told they shut at 5pm so they changed it on the day!! Couldn’t wait to get out of there and go home for food. When we asked to speak to the manager conveniently he had gone home!! Spoke to head office who refused a refund as they couldn’t get hold of the manager!! Absolutely disgusting service and food!! What a way to ruin Christmas! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

We went for breakfast. It was an unlimited choice with hot and cold food.

Beware those tight fisted company charge you for extra gravy .99p they dribble a drop on your meal they then charge you for extra. When you are paying £50.00 for meals you do not expect to then pay extra for a shot of gravy. On top it's not even real gravy it's joking made up with water and granules A charge that is not listed in their menu in the first place

We went there for our Christmas party and we had to send the food from the Christmas menu back multiple times as it was cold and some of the “trimmings” that were supposed to be on the plate were missing and there was no organisation from the manager on duty. I left something there the week prior and was told it would be kept safe in the office so when I picked it up, no one knew anything about it and when it was eventually found, it was left by the bar to be damaged by spillages etc. when I brought these concerns to the manager on duty, she said well the Christmas menu has only been out for 2 days so what do I expect and said about the photo, ok what do you want me to do about it, it’s your fault for leaving things here.

Christmas Dinner-arrived at our alloted time for the Christmas dinner. When we went up to the carvery to get our main staff were loading-up their own plates. There were a number of items that were cleaned-out by staff as we were standing there. We asked if they would replenish those items and we were told that they had run-out and they would not be replenished (Yorkshire Puddings, mashed potatoes, carrots, parsnips). The menu was advertised as 'including a glass of fizz on arrival' which was not provided. The starter Camembert En Croute came with toast rather than a bread roll as described on the menu. The quality of what we did have was poor. We asked the staff if they had take-away containers for dessert as we just wanted to go home due to disappointment. They said they couldn't provided these so we resigned to staying for the dessert course. The staff member who cleared our plates from the main asked how the meal was, we were honest about our disappointment and the staff member said she'd get her manager to speak to us. The manager was very combative when we were honest about our experience. We were shocked at the way the manager spoke to us. Four of our group have worked in food service (two at a managerial level) and said they'd be discplined if they spoke to customers the way she did. She said that 'the way the carvery works is that more is brought out when it is empty' but we had asked two staff members if they could replenish the items but they said they had run out and would not (shortly after loading their own plates to take away) and they did not replenish the items the whole time we were there (1.5 hrs). She also said 'what do you expect me to do', as a manager we would have thought she would have known how to resolve complaints with customers. Eventually we got to the point of a partial refund, altough it still doesn't make-up for our time, missed family enjoyment and the poor experience. The only redemming part was the politeness and friendliness of the staff-member working at the bar who is an example of good customer service.

Poor standard of food and service, Main meal arrived seconds after starter plates were removed, indicating that the mains had been sat on the warmer too long! In fact I think they must have been stood around the curbed waiting with them! I’ve never seen a piece of chicken that looked like the leather sole of a boot?! sadly it tasted the same as it looked! Bar staff not on the case… three staff behind the bar, one serving and two milling about putting one or two glasses on the shelf and ignoring customers who were clearly waiting!! Had to ask to be served! 🤷🏻‍♀️ unbelievable that bar staff are just not trained in the art of customer service any more.

A very average mixed grill with two boiled eggs, out of 3 meals only one egg anywhere runny, it's a shame lots of places ruin a meal like this.

awful, lunch is served between 12 and 6. we went for sunday dinner. our time slot was 3.45pm. there was no gammon available no swede, no roasties and we had to wait so long for gravy that my dinner went cold and it wasnt that hot to start with. god help someone coming in at 5pm!

Absolutely disgusting treatment and disgusting food for £10 I’m disgusted I wouldn’t even have paid £5 for breakfast. It was oily, and the bacon was dryer than Gandhi's flip-flops and the eggs were watery and overcooked. Also, the blond manager openly disrespected a customer who had called to see if there was any availability on 22/9/24 after the phone call, she was heard by me and my group slating the potential customer to other colleagues. DO NOT GO HERE EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK

Food was excellent! Great value meals. Really disappointing dirty toilets. Out of 3 cubicles, one had bits of toilet roll strewn all over, including over the toilet bowl. The second cubicle's toilet was flushing continuously. I push and prodded at the flush buttons and it eventually stopped, but I hadn't left the bathroom when it had started up again. The third cubicle had a clean(ish) toilet, but the flush button covers were off and you had to push the inside mechanism to flush! When I left the bathroom I did inform two staff members about their state, one of which was saying oh yes that happens and you have to push both buttons together to stop it. I told them I did manage to get it stopped but that it was flushing continuously again by the time I left. They thanked me for letting me know and said would sort it out. A friend visited the toilets about 30 minutes later and they were in exactly the same state! I would understand if they were all very busy, but there were loads of staff just standing around chatting. A few tables were left uncleared for ages after customers had left, with the staff too busy chatting.

We went here for week day meal & it was beautiful, & staff are excellent... But tried the Sunday carvery for the first time, & it will be the last, the veg was cold, & you couldn't cut the beef at all, turkey was nice but didn't warrant the price paid.

Came for dinner after 1st day back at school, absolutely disgusted with the food, we ordered 2 kids meals & 2 adult vegan burgers /chips, all chips were cold. Portions were small on the adult meals. Kids meals we're also cold. Presentation was awful, chef should be ashamed to send them out, won't be returning.

Myself and my wife both ordered the same meal as found very little choice. Ordered smothered platter. I ordered medium rare and my wife medium for steaks. However part of this platter, we should have received a BBQ sauce didn't arrive. Also listed the platter is chicken covered with bacon covered with cheese. Had the cheese but where was the bacon??? That I don't know. Also while eating, the serving got our meals mixed up, only discovered when me wife cut open her steak to reveal a medium rare steak ( a little under cooked ) with blood spilling out . I ordered the medium rare so they even mixed up the order and placing wrong way round. I also noticed that another member of staff clearing up the table next to us , well removing the dirty dishes, leaving two sets of cutlery used! The member of staff just wiped the table down and replaced the other 4 sets ready for another table setting of 6. Couldn't believe it. Below, the reviews are asking what meals I'd recommend, none!!

Just a rainy afternoon letting my little one blow off some energy had a couple of drinks and the famous Cadbury dessert along with the brownie unfortunately the brownies were a little over done but our server was more than happy to replace them with some ice cream we were very happy with the service we received thank you all

We went for Sunday lunch. It was cold, and not a lot of veg on offer. The man carving the meat was lovely. Staff are very friendly, there is an indoor soft play area for children but it's unmanned. We had food from there on a week day, and it was lovely 😍. I'm not sure we will be going for Sunday lunch again.

Disappointed yet again, four separate visits and each time an issue. Previous occasions told not enough staff in the kitchen and having to slow down meal service and today, unable to enjoy my birthday meal, which was booked, as when we got there, no hot water (I did wonder why the car park was empty) However, no phone call to let us know ahead of time and save us the journey and fuel and time. Awful service for a chain of this size. If you are reading this, head across the roundabout to the Copper Pot, always a great welcome and service and food are spot on every time.

Stayed in Swansea for a week working, had meal deal as I was staying in the Premier Inn next door. Food was to a good standard and the service was really good. Never waited that long between courses even though they were busy. Breakfast was also good in the morning and it's buffet style.

where do I start, we only came here to see the play area as the kids drive us crazy when we go to a normal restaurant. The play area is only 3 pounds per child and you can eat at peace without stressing about children running around the restaurant... surprisingly, we tried the food and it's absolutely delicious. Every curry is honestly a solid 8/10, katsu I'll give it. 9/10 next up I must try the lasagne as apparently it's heavenly!! Recommend this place for anyone that enjoys good food as honestly the chef does not miss regardless to what you order even the burgers a lovely! Kids will love it here and if you don't fancy being around children the kids are locked away in a looney room for them to play and scream so you can eat peacefully in a another part of the restaurant and enjoy the fantastic cuisine if you don't fancy joining the nut house lol

All you can eat breakfast was good. Good value for money and tasty. The pain au chocolate are delicious and fresh. The only downside are the sausages, although not the worst I've had, they have very tough skins and an almost smoked taste to them which I can imagine is quite divisive.

Although it was not busy we still waited almost 10 minutes to be shown to a table. 1 member of staff saw us and walked away not even acknowledging that we were there. Service was slow as only 1 person was serving on the bar & 1 waiting tables. The food was acceptable but nothing to write home about. The tellies were on for the Euros without sound, but the noise from the kids would have drowned it out anyway.

Connor and his hardworking team are doing a magnificent job whilst slightly understaffed. If there were one more member of barstaff alongside the charismatic and efficient Liam... then everything would have been golden.

I was at Swansea Vale Brewers in the company of some work colleagues and we had breakfast - simple and delicious. The ambience is calm and relaxing. But I couldn't take pictures

It's one of these restaurants where the staff obviously don't want to work here. The 1st night at dinner things off the menu. At breakfast I had a dirty fork presented as clean and when handing it back for a new one was given attitude. They ran out of bowls and when one asked for some the same woman brought some out and slammed them down so hard I thought they would break.
