Visited today for a Sunday roast. Had two 'small' roasts, one lamb and one turkey. Both were delicious and cooked to perfection! Portions were very generous too. Very good value for money. One of the best Sunday roasts we have ever had! Very friendly staff. Cosy atmosphere. We will definitely visit again! Highly recommend!

I’ve had plenty of Sunday lunches in my time, but none get even close to the sublime experience at The Beaufort in Kittle. From the moment you step inside, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a perfect blend of traditional pub charm and modern comfort. Alan, John and the rest of the team are friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about delivering top-notch service. The food, though, is the true star. The locally sourced Sunday roast is an absolute masterpiece - beef, lamb and turkey with all the trimmings. The Yorkshire pud is a work of art, golden and crisp on the outside, soft and fluffy inside. The roast potatoes are perfectly crispy, and the seasonal veg are always fresh, vibrant, and cooked just right. The gravy is something to write home about - rich, flavourful, and the perfect accompaniment to the entire meal. The portion sizes are beyond generous, leaving no room for desert 🤣 The Beaufort’s relaxed yet lively atmosphere, combined with its stunning food, makes it an unbeatable choice for a Sunday lunch. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this is a dining experience that shouldn’t be missed. And to top it off, the pool table in the bar area is one the best in Swansea!

Went for food with my girlfriend and mother, 2 steak and ale pies and 3 drinks came to £55, no veg in there literally minced beef and nothing else, honestly you deserve better !

Bought a pint of lager shandy last Saturday eve....it cost me just under eight pounds...scandalous....they deserve no success there.

Thoroughly recommend The Beaufort pub. We had Sunday lunch today. It was absolutely delicious. Tasted as if homemade. 6 of us enjoyed a large dinner with 3 meats, roast potato, swede, carrots, peas, mashed potato, perfect cabbage, Yorkshire pud, stuffing, lots of gravy. Side order of gorgeous cheesy cauliflower cheese. Plenty of food. Plates cleared! We will be back. We were there late afternoon. Thank you so much. See you again ☀️

Loved it!!! First of all Alan and Elena are the friendliest and kindest persons ever we got super welcome by them. The service is excellent. Then the food, so yummy. We had the Hunter chicken very generous portions and cooked perfectly the chicken was tender and juicy. Finally the drinks!! Tons of options and good prices. Thank you very much guys😍🤩🥰

Had a lovely roast here and sat by the fire. Friendly landlord and nice atmosphere. Under new management which is great.

EV charger was very useful. Food was delicious came really fast and great value. Would highly recommend. I had the steak and ale pie. Kids menu very good value. Kids enjoyed using the pool table

We drive past this pub a lot on the way to the beach and one day fancied a roast, but not the cooking and cleaning. We were discussing how nice it would be to have a local for a roast, but as of yet, haven't found one we like. Usually, we're disappointed with roast dinners, but this was really good . The portions were great and you can pick sizes. The beef was tasty, not chewy and without excess fat or gristle. You can tell it is homemade and that is what we want. I hate frozen, chain food. Quality is what matters and now we know we can come back. You get extra gravy pots without asking and scraps for your dog (I'm not sure if this was just at the end of the day or all the time). Sticky toffee pudding was delicious, perfectly balanced. Staff were friendly. Dogs are allowed. We will definitely be popping in after a winter dog walk again.

Llamamos para tomar una copa un domingo a la hora del almuerzo. Este es ahora el lugar favorito de mi perro boxeador después de inhalar el tazón de carne asada presentado por el propietario. Parece popular para el almuerzo del domingo que tiene algunas opciones de precio. Preferiríamos alguna otra verdura que no sean guisantes y zanahorias y por un costo adicional el queso coliflor. Definitivamente volvería por comida si se ofreciera algo más tentador en el frente vegetal. Sin embargo, un pub amable donde el nuevo propietario está tratando de mejorar el lugar. Espero que tenga éxito.

Fabulous food, great service, super friendly hosts, motorhomes welcomed (with purchase of food and drink which is absolutely fine). Our dog Lwsi was also welcomed to which we appreciated.

Brilliant pub and staff - we used the car park to park our motorhome for 2 nights having spotted the site on the Britstops app for motorhome users - the owners couldn't have been more accommodating and friendly to chat to, and the pub had a great atmosphere, with a Hallowen party in full swing when we arrived. We ate in the pub for 2 nights running and the food was really nice, especially the Sunday roast (which was tasty and huge!) A great location to see the Gower and we would definitely look to return at some point - our thanks to all for being so welcoming

Had a great night at the Beaufort. Staff and landlord were very friendly and accommodating. Very relaxed atmosphere, our two little K.C.cav’s were very welcome to join us for food (which was lovely). Out-door area had a covered section with patio heater’s. Stayed in our MoHo in their large flat carpark and in exchange for some toilet rolls you have free hookup for the night! You will need a three pin adapter and a long cable. Very quiet throughout the night. Definitely worth a visit 👍🍺.

Fabulosa comida con la más cálida de las bienvenidas aquí en el Beaufort Arms. Parada de autocaravana por una noche, pero bien vale la pena por la calidad de la comida. El servicio fue excelente yo tenía las chuletas de la lámpara y mi marido tenía el salmón abrasado. Nuestro perro Lwsi fue hecho sentir bienvenido, que realmente apreciamos. ¡Dale una oportunidad, no te decepcionará!

Amazing cosy local in the beautiful gower, the perfect place to re fuel and relax after exploring, even better they are dog friendly so perfect after a walk! Staff are great and friendly and the Sunday dinner hits the spot! Would definitely recommend showing the football on the weekends tho!

A lovely Sunday roast after a lovely blustery walk with our three whippets. All were made to feel very welcome by staff and fellow customers. Food was just just what we needed too.

We had a lovely, well cooked lunch. My husband has special dietary requirements and they were happy to make something for him that wasn't on the menu. Very friendly and accommodating. And a bonus of plenty ev chargers in the free carpark

We had a great first visit and will definitely be back! A tasty meal freshly cooked and all served by fun and friendly staff. Loved it!

This is a lovely pub. We often visit South Wales and this is always a place we love stopping at in our motorhome. We of course always have a meal and a few drinks. The staff are super friendly and the food is always amazing. This time we arrange to meet a few family member from the local area and took a large table for 12 which again went very well in terms of speed of service and hot food. We shall be back again soon!

We ate here this evening and we were not disappointed. The food was incredible, huge portions and very tasty. We had the steak and ale pie and the special of goat curry. Service was fast and friendly. We will gladly visit again on our next trip to the Gower.

I arrived a little late on Sunday evening and kitchen was closed but barman sorted me a lasagna which was excellent. Many Thanks

Nice pub, very friendly landlord, great food. Large carpark, which we stayed over the night in campervan. Was even offered mains hook up. Was free, but had to pay by giving landlord 1 toilet roll. I kid you not, that's his price. Good to visit mumble, Swansea, Gower etc.

Absolutele 100% top food 😋 Me and my wife had the beufort Burger 🍔 and both were outstandingly good , chips were top notch and when pepsi max from a pump is also chilled and getting the balance of bubbles and taste spot on makes such a change to what is served else where . Will definitely go back for 2nds and will be trying their desserts next time. Interior and exterior issues I know it's not long been taken over and they are doing a brilliant job but the interior and exterior definitely needs some TLC ... also the entrance is looking untidy and this food deserves a grand entrance 👏 Hope my review was OK 👍

We enjoyed a roast dinner today. It was enormous!! We had the medium size 2 meat dinner. Neither of us could get anywhere near finishing it. It tasted lovely. Sadly no room for pudding. Service was friendly but I suspect the waitress still learning the trade but didn’t detract from the meal. The pub itself needs a little revamp. Great value for money. Give it a go.

Great food and service, they managed to fit us in late notice on a Sunday night as we only got into Swansea in the evening when almost everywhere else was closed! The man who served us didn't have enough seabass for 6 portions so he split each fillet in half and bulked it out with lots of yummy sea food as an extra and gave us a discount. Fyi there is a Visitors price for tourists as there is with most places I've been in Wales. Free parking is a bonus👍🏼

Good food, lovely people, superb service

Absolutely wonderful fantastic spare ribs! We received such a warm welcome that it was a joy. For a roll of toilet paper (no joke, wonderful British humor!) we were able to park our motorhome in the parking lot overnight. The world needs more of places like this!

Lovely meal with my family. Ordered the full rack of ribs and was the largest and tastiest I've ever had. Lovely personable staff and reasonable prices. Would reccomend!

Food was pretty poor in all honesty. 1 decent meal out of 6 isnt great. Dont think its renowned for food though, maybe our bad or lack of research but was expecting better. Tables were dirty and sticky (after being wiped down). Has potential just not what we were expecting given previous reviews. Staff were very helpful and attentive although had to work out for ourselves we had to order at the bar. Had booked a table but then waited for 5 mins (the place was virtually empty) to be seated whilst the threw a couple of tables together. Was very quiet until a few others came in later on which did help the atmosphere. Stag doo popped by to top it off which was a laugh to watch.

Twas a wet and windy Welsh Wednesday at the height of summer. Damp, downhearted but not defeated, determined to dry out in the welcome warmth of a proper pub. Step up and take a bow, Beaufort, you beauty, great food, cold beer, happy to ignore the wet dog smell, darts and pool (table not water). If you are anywhere near and want a top family run boozer where 'everybody knows your name', look no further, we're not leaving till my card gets declined!!!

Whilst on a Glamping trip we visited this establishment and I'm very happy to say what a wonderful experience it was. Four of us in the party had a splendid meal which was very competitively priced and you certainly got a decent portion of good quality. The staff were very attentive and happy to go the extra mile. Overall a very pleasing experience had by all and would certainly recommend to all.

What a wonderful pub and restaurant, we were able to park our campervans over night, no cost just have food. The food was absolutely beautiful, large portions and boiling hot, absolutely perfect. Stopped on a night stop over in my camper,very glad we did food was plenty and perfect one of the best burgers I've had. Staff were very helpful and friendly can't find a bad point.

We ended up here on our way through Wales. Quaint pub, delicious food, large portions, great service, nice landlord and nice staff. In exchange for a roll of toilet paper, we were able to leave our motorhome overnight. We'd love to come back next time. Thank you for your hospitality.

Perfect! With the motorhome we can stand in the parking lot overnight and enjoy the food and a beer or two.

We stayed overnight in our campervan. The charge was some toilet rolls and pens 😂….apparently some campers take them (very rude!). Lovely pub, friendly staff and food (especially the apple and raspberry crumble which was delicious). Would highly recommend.

It’s a Marstons pub which is as you would expect. - lots of room, lots of drink choice. The highlight was the food. It’s all home cooked from fresh. My burger was brilliant.

Came as recommended, couldn’t find the new menu on the website and was pleasantly surprised by the choice. Fresh locally sourced food, very tasty and good sized portions. Booked for a Sunday lunch next.

I cannot fault anything here.We pleasantly greeted by the staff. We ordered drinks and meals for 7 of us.The drinks arrived within minutes and considering there were 7 meals they came faster than we anticipated.Everyone said how much they enjoyed their meals which were so well cooked and tasty.We're on holiday so it's a great disappointment that we wont be able to come again until next year.

Highly recommend the Sunday roast. Really tasty, genuinely home-made and very generous portions. The meals come in 3 size options, which is helpful, but even the small is pretty big. The gravy was almost as good as my mother’s!

I’ve just had a Sunday Lunch here for the first time and just had to post a review. It was hands down the best roast dinner I’ve had at a restaurant or pub. Really fresh, home-made and plentiful. I had roast lamb and it really was excellent. The stuffing was really tasty and the gravy was tremendous. They do three different sized meals, but even the ‘small’ was very generous. Fabulous dessert selection too!

Visited the Beaufort for the first time in years with a friend. I ordered scampi and my friend had hunters chicken which was cooked beautifully. The waitress who served us the food was very efficient and friendly and the new manager was very helpful, even offered to help us carry our plants to the car that we had purchased in the garden sale opposite. Would highly recommend it.

We arrived in our motorhome and stayed overnight. I’d pre booked a table earlier in the week. Well. We ordered our food when it came it was absolutely delicious I had the pork ribs. They were beautifully cooked and the sauce was spot on. My wife had fish n chips she said it was lovely the chips were good the fish was good but more batter than fish. The host was spot on very friendly and welcoming. I can’t wait to go back and have more ribs.

My wife pressurised me into having lunch at this pub as I was not impressed by the standard of service experienced previously. Unknown to me the pub has recently changed hands and I was very pleasantly surprised by the food and service. The ingredients are mostly resourced locally. I thoroughly recommend this place. Sunday lunch will be our next visit probably treating the family.

Wow what a pub. The food is brilliant. The beer is great and the landlord is a blast. Just bring a few pens with you. There always short of pens. It says it’s a Marstons pub. It’s not. The food is way way better. Thanks landlord. 🍺🍺
