The food here is so good and the service is amazing. The lady and her child are the sweetest people ever. Me and my husband (and our dog) love to eat here. I really don’t know the reason for the low reviews, as we literally have always the best food experience coming this way.

The food was served too slowly. I was very hungry while waiting for the food. The service was not good and the attitude was too bad. I will not come again. Why on earth did I spend money to find sinners and come here to see your face? You can’t make enough money, right? Are you the only one in Swansea who cooks Chinese food? Where is the disgusting person here? Fed up with having to look at people's looks just to have a meal

In fact, I don't even want to give one star for the following reasons: 1. The attitude of the owner and the staff is extremely poor. They are unwilling to communicate with us, rarely saying more than four words at a time. 2. This shop does not accept card payments, and there was no prior notice about this. We were only informed about it when we were paying the bill. They were even unwilling to tell us where the nearest ATM was. 3. They hinted that we should use WeChat Pay and charged us a rate much higher than the current exchange rate, forcing us to pay without any explanation.

Disappointing service... it felt like we were discriminated against. The food isn't too bad, but everything else is awful. They only accept cash which makes absolutely no sense.

I advise everyone not to come. I also went to Guo Bao Meat after seeing good reviews. The meat slices were very small, the meat was not fresh, and the taste was very strong. I had diarrhea after returning home. It was too painful. In order to reduce costs, I used bad meat. Bad business.

The boss was very nice and enthusiastic, and we chatted for a while. The food is also delicious. You can come again in the future.

I am a regular customer. I usually go there at least once a week and invite friends to dinner many times. I also had dinner there with friends on my birthday. In the past, the taste was really good, and many dishes were not available elsewhere in Karoo. In the past few times, the portions of the dishes have always been small and the meat in the meat dishes has been very finely chopped. I have complained about it twice for a while. I ordered two dishes with my friends today and had to wait for a long time. Three Chinese people at the next table had worms in the first cold dish they ordered. Then the ice powder (or some kind of porridge) they ate also had worms, so they left in anger. There was almost no intact meat in the spicy chicken I ordered. Most of it was crumbs, and the larger pieces were full of bones. The amount of meat is simply pitiful. The pork on the other plate of stir-fried pork was also very stale and had a strong off-flavor despite heavy seasoning. I reported the problem with the spicy chicken to the boss. The boss was very stern and said that their food was just like this. Summary: The hygiene is worrisome, the waiting time is long, the price is the highest for Chinese food in Karu, and the service attitude is terrible (especially the boss lady, the Xinjiang guy is actually very nice). Won't go there again.

Last meal of our trip to Wales! The four dishes of Guobao Pork, Big Pulled Skin, Spicy Chicken, and Vinegar Lotus Root add up to 34 pounds, which is much cheaper than Leeds. The most delicious thing is the spicy chicken, which is a favorite of my friends. It’s a bit like the spicy version of chicken nuggets. Finally, the atmosphere of the restaurant is very good, it feels like returning to China. Many children are very cute.

Great restaurant, the food is excellent, the quality-quantity-price ratio more than respectable. I recommend !

Food is served slowly. Not a single dish for an hour. The waiter has a bad attitude.

Excpetional Chinese food at a very reasonable price. This is where the Chinese go to eat in swanse. But the menu has pictures so no problem. We Absolutely love it. (Also my Chinese wife ) ❤️👍

It's worth trying, taste good and cheap.

It's a cozy local spot. I had spinach and garlic with some rice and dumplings.

As a Chinese, hands down this is the most authentic and delicious Chinese restaurant in Swansea. My bf who’s born and raised Welsh loves this place as well. The owner is very friendly despite they don’t speak English very well they’ll try their best to help you. If you forgot to bring cash there’s a FREE cash machine right outside. Couldn’t recommend more. Don’t know where all the bad reviews come from, it’s really unfair for them. I go this place at least once a week and never experienced the so called “poor hygiene” and “bad service”problem.

It's a nice small family run Chinese restaurant with one truly amazing food

The food there was pretty nice, the staff are helpful as well. The only downside is that they only accept cash and the cash withdraw machine next to the shop will charge money. Also the signal in the shop are bad. In case you are a person who cannot live without a phone then be warn. However, I think the staff are nice enough to share their own wifi if you ask.

The food is always excellent and some of the dishes you can only get here or in a Chinese household. The attention from the Staff was also first rate.

Not really the best. But it is Swansea so not a lot to chose from. Plus cash only. 🙄
