Jenkins Bakery - Uplands in Swansea

Fantastic pasties but truly terribly rude staff. One woman is very nice and welcoming but mostly everyone else is quite rude. Went in asking for 12 corned beef pasties and the lady told me we must preorder that quantity and we cannot just turn up and ask for them. Sorry for wanting to buy pasties at a pasty shop! Anyway included is a photo of my 12 pasties!

Friendly staff, quick service and great food!

Turned up at 4.18pm for a coffee and they’d shut the machine down before they closed! Had to go elsewhere 😠 useless!!!!

Rude staff and rude service. Huffing because I’d walked in on the dot. Welcomed with “Hungry are you!” Tuesday 30th January. Poor customer service to start the day. Store said open at 8am. Staff not ready, rude staff. Furniture fell over because the door knocked it, staff asked if I wanted to put it out for them. Only wanted a cup of coffee but wouldn’t return or recommend.

Rude `Manager` seems to go out of her way to be as hostile as possible.

I go to Jenkins for breakfast often as I work in the uplands. The manager is so rude, constantly so miserable and seems like she can’t be bothered to be there, It’s not very professional. Although other staff can be lovely

Went to jenkins bakery today in the uplands swansea and bought two different pasties one chicken which chickenless and a steak pastie which was pretty empty on steak and all I could taste was the pastry, would OT spend my money there again , save you money as it was wasted at a cost of £2.70 very dissapointed.

Been an occasional customer for the last few years and things have generally been ok, but in the last couple of months I`ve had mislabelled food twice and had to throw away my recent rustic baguette as it was undercooked and inedible.

I recommend Jenkins strongly for good quality customized Birthday cakes. They made science birthday cake for me as I wanted. The staff are very professional and friendly. This cake made my science party special 🎉🎊🎂. Thank you JENKINS

First time here, grabbed a selection of pasties, sausage rolls, etc on my way to meet my son for lunch. This is a kind of Greggs wannabe but they fall far short. Everything was cold, every item was quite small (compared to Greggs equivalents) and not particularly impressed with taste or quality. Wouldn't bother going here again. Find a Greggs instead.

Local Bakers in Uplands . Always very busy and everything baked onsite . Pies , pasties , sausage rolls , cakes , sandwiches and of course wonderful selection of bread . Staff are always friendly .

The lady working coughed into her hands and also wiped her nose with her hand. She also was wearing no gloves at all and also handled money with her bare hands also.

The one in Swansea market is great value for money and a refreshing change from Greggs and I come here every time I am in Swansea.

Always lovely, wonderfully fresh bread. Mince pies have always been epic, but have a bit hit and miss lately with less filling. Still very tasty. Staff are the best.

Nice bakery. Good tasting food. Some of the staff are lovely, but one lady in particular really ruins my experience here when she's rude and lies to me. Often run out of food way before closing time, and breakfast finishes at 11.30 but often run out between 10 and 10.30. Very annoying and unreliable.
