Kings Banquet in Swansea

Staff was well behaved but food quality is not same as it used to be, ordered mutton biryani instead received super smelly lamb in biryani with big yellow fat chunks stuck to pieces whereas the whole biryani was smelling lamb felt disgusting to eat and chicken tikka was super mild felt like had close to no spices but food colour.

Biryani is bad, its only rice with chicken nothing is how an actual biryani taste like

In this Christmas day I really wants to say that's to all the staff of this restaurant specialy the chef. They are really doing a good job that providing good food in very affordable price. I would request all the Indian, Bangladeshi and Pakistani people to go there and have good food with low prices.

The worst food i ever had in Swansea. I never want to remember this food again.

we were starving and passing by Swansea and we thought it was a good halal food place but when we ordered curries it seemed as if it was caned . It tasted old it was sloppy and disgusting. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Best Chicken Biriyani about staff are really nice and recommend dishes if your not sure what to get this place is a must try for anyone who likes Indian food

Large space but weird vibe. Despite being empty, there was a table with used dishes still out. Food was edible but not enjoyable. Quality of ingredients questionable. Has potential given size and location but atm quite disappointing.

Very late service. We ordered food at 9.30, they served us at 10.20. We almost waited for 50 mins. Overall, the service was very bad.

The service here is so worst and apart from that the time they take to make food and serve us literally feels like infinity we waited 55mins for Tandoori Chicken Biryani.

I ordered tonight the meat is tough and then I noticed the rice is blue......put me right off.chips were hard and cold.

The food here is outstanding, the biryanis are one of the best I have tried. The food is cooked fresh, you can tell the best quality ingredients are used. Also the masala tea is a must try. Will continue to come back here 💯

Stopped by Kings Banquet in Swansea, Wales for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant had a cozy ambiance and the food was absolutely delicious. The service was prompt and friendly. Will definitely be returning to try more dishes on the menu. Highly recommend Kings Banquet for a tasty lunch in Swansea.

Very good food and service. The quality is good and the quantity is amazing.

One of my favourite places to get a curry or even there chicken delight pasta is beautiful always call here staff are always helpful

Owner was very talkative he explained every dish to me as I've never heard of some these delicacies such as chicken biryani and he suggested some things to order, however I ignored him. I had the half tandoori chicken with special fried rice and my wife got the chicken tikka with buttered naan. We waited 30 minutes for our food. When the food arrived it was piping hot. The chicken was very juicy and had lots of flavour. The naan was freshly prepared and soft and fluffy. The special fried rice was flavourful. Portions were very good and great for value money,however we will be returning but this time I will Bring the rest of my family. Cleanliness was not an issue.

Today. I’ve been there and I had beef biryani and my friend she had chicken biryani truly speaking it was delicious and most important thing that they cooked front of us and the price very cheap . quite environment I’ll suggest all student and biryani lover people go there and test them

Tried on Deliveroo, had mixed kebab, was delicious. Plenty of meat, was all just lovely. Can’t wait to order again.

Biryani is not bad. Not that expensive either!!

Ordered for delivery, the tikka masala was so spicy myself and the kids couldn't eat it (I have a fair spice tolerance so this is unusual for tikka masala). There were fresh green chillies in for goodness sake. It wasn't 'slightly spicy' as described on the menu, this was so spicy it was inedible. Deliveroo provided a refund thankfully. Partner who is a fan of hot sauce and spicy food couldn't believe it. Won't be ordering again.

WORST FOOD EXPEREINCE EVER 🤮 IM NOT EVEN LYING HOW TO I RATE THIS A..... 0 please don't come here it'd simply a DISGRACE WE had to wait 1 HOUR at least for food and then When we were ordering the guy was actually making us order things like it was his choice we were like "CAN we have 1 of this" and every time we order he stretching it like "YES but let's make it 2 or 4" he was pushing it a BIT TOO MUCH food was really really bad we went out for the anniversary we were 6 people and it ruined the whole day as Tummy was hurting alot like ALOT and we couldn't forget the TERRIBLE expereince

I don't know about the other food served there, but the chicken briyani was decent for 5 pounds. The rice was decent with a mix of fried onions. It had good texture. However the chicken had no flavour in it and also the whole dish didn't have enough of spices. But for the price it's filling and decent. The tandoori chicken was amazing it had lots of flavours and cooked well and for the price it is amazing. Highly recommended. I wish the restaurant had some table cloth for more professionalism.

Worst tasting chips I've ever had, meat tough as old boots. Waited almost a hour for basic food, we were the only people in there. The chips are either cooked in 200 year old oil or made from potatoes taken from Tutankhamuns tomb. The guy on the counter taking orders is about as interested as I am when the other half takes me dress shopping. Won't ever get food from here again.

I am a regular customer of this restaurant. I tasted almost all the food of the their menu in this last 4/5 months. For all the Halal Biriyani and indian curry this is the best restaurant in Swansea town. And their behaviour is also very friendly. Keep going, best wishes!

Biriyani is not worth of money and rice is just a normal one. Not suggested. Very bad experience for dealing customers.

Worst food experience... Worst biriyani i ever had.... Just yellor jeera rice with 3 peice beef ... Thats the beef biriyani

I was sceptic about going to this place so gave it a chance to try their special fried rice & chicken dhansak. Nothing special about tasting bland rice, dhansak curry sauce was nice, except lentils were undercooked. The worst was the days old chicken, that was foul and unnecessary, so a total letdown - paid full price, not fit for any kings banquet. 0/11 rating. Please do better, but I won't be returning.

Delicious family friendly restaurant with exquisite taste, highly recommended

Really fantastic. Had a great time with friends and loved the place. Lets talk about food- Fresh cooked and delicious at same time. As a spicy lover i love their beef jalfrezi. At the same time i like to grub some mild dish so i'm love with their Tarka daal❤️ reasonable price with friendly hospitality. A big thums for Kings benquet👍

Really fantastic food. Four of us went there tonight and had an amazing time. The onion bhajis was out of this world. So piping hot and cooked fresh. I cant stress how lovely the food was. The staff was friendly and chatted nicely to us. Rice was so soft and the curries really tasty. We will come back. Had a nice time. Suggestion would be to have a glass with ice when serving cold drinks. Overall , a lovely place and delicious food.

Took my family for a lovely meal. Great looking place and the selection of food was reasonable. Couldn’t get enough of the prawn saag 😋 at £10 for buffet…just made the experience that bit more enjoyable.

Fresh food is the name of the game at Kings Banquet with staff eager to show off their freshly made curries and just as keen to hear customer feedback. Speaking of staff, to a man very friendly. And the curries themselves? Tasty. Meat was juicy and tender. The pilau rice gets a special mention too. My only complaint? No music. I do like a little background music in an Indian restaurant. But that's personal taste. Happy to recommend.
