Been to the copper pot numerous times over the years as a family. Is it Michelin star quality, no. Is it good quality pub grub at a reasonable price, absolutely it is. Never had a bad meal there and we all have our personal favourites, ranging from pie & mash, fish & chips, hunters chicken and an all day breakfast to name a few. Play area to the side for the kids which they enjoy, relaxed atmosphere, pints for around £4 and you can use Tesco clubcard points to help pay for the meal. Perfect for a midweek lunch/dinner.

Amazing staff expecially Caroline lovely food

Just had a fabulous meal smothered steak chips peas and I've got to say best meal I've had in a long time, deffo be back, and the lady behind serving was bloodyluvly

Staff was lovely. Price was reasonable and food was lush. Service was great couldn’t fault it. Overall the experience was amazing. Would recommend.

Cant fault the food, had half chicken with chips, food was hot and very nice, cooked thoroughly cant see wat all the bad reviews are about, my son had a burger and my husband had chicken with bbq sause which was also very nice. Waitresses took time to ensure everything was ok. Thanks guys would definately recommend

The seating is stained some seats are torn all seating looks filthy needs a refurb will not go again u till this happens

Probably the worst meal we have ever eaten as a family. The food was absolutely disgusting. The pub itself stinks and needs a thorough clean and refurb. Avoid at all costs.

Lovely meal and service with Caroline

We've just had a late lunch at the Copper Pot, two Sunday lunches and a mixed grill. All the food was lovely, it was quite quiet and we had a lovely waitress called Caroline. The outside seating was lovely in the sun for a drink after lunch before returning home. Thoroughly recommend as a Sunday treat if you don't want to cook 😊

Ordered a beef and turkey roast dinner food was excellent. served hot, extra gravy available if needed. served by Caroline will definitely be back.

All the staff are helpful pleasant and polite we have been coming here for 25 years and have never had a complaint regarding the food or service. Its like home from home we always have an excellent welcome.

All Staff are friendly, Rebecca gave us really good service on this occasion we ate here. Food is tasty and good value. They should add the Katsu sauce to their list of dips available as it is amazing.

Caroline and jess are fantastic always very polite, jess even has drinks poured as she sees us walking in. They both are Always chatting to the children including them in conversation. Food is great nicely priced as well and the atmosphere is always buzzing . No matter the weather.

Very friendly atmosphere and very helpful staff, only one issue is that there's been on Garlic bread on both our visits this week, but the food cannot be faulted otherwise.

This Hungry Horse (Copper Pot) has become one of our favourite places to eat and relax and enjoy - whether for something special, or after a shopping trip - the food never disappoints and the service from the friendly, helpful and attentive staff is second to none. We went to the copper pot llansamlet for lunch today. Lunch was great, the dessert I ordered wasn't quite ready so Sue behind the bar was brilliant and sorted everything out, Great service as always.

Caroline was amazing. Nothing was too much hassle for her. Made a great night being fussed over. A credit to your business. Jordan who served us at the bar and took our order was amazing too. Very much a people person and a great host welcoming people in. Johnpaul the chef that cooked our food deserves to be in management. Thanks again.

Utter shocking arrived last night curry night me and my partner goes to bar 5.30 ordered the food arrived paid extras for onion bahji which was no bigger than my palm and looked like it was stepped on n flat , samosa looked like a deep fried acorn it was that small even chipped a tooth trying to bite it , paid extra for naan bread which was cut in half queried the waiter tall with glasses on , to was it was cut in half and said as he was walking away felt he couldn't care less and wasnt even busy as he said " that's how it comes " when it dosent say on menu it be in half .... paid extra for chips which was tiny like how much is a potatoe it was a tiny handful was shocking ,,, the potion of curry and rice was the size of a child potion which was shocking I suggest a change of name "hungry horse" should be changed to "hungry pony" there was no pride in chef to let the plates leave the kitchen the way it was served ,,, we was more hungry leaving and went straight to asdas felt really not welcomed and disappointed in our visit and definitely value for money

Visited on the 6th July , to celebrate my daughters birthday, the staff were very good , the food was a bit of a let down though , my daughter and I had a full monty mixed grill , the steak were not cooked medium rare as ordered , they were over cooked , the onion rings were barely warm , my other daughter ordered the gammon which she didn't eat as it was burnt on one side , this was the first visit since it was changed from the Dylan Thomas, and I don't think I will be returning any time soon .

Went on Sunday afternoon with wife, roast dinner looked nice but I decided on steak and ale pie, it was delicious, staff were very friendly and curtious, drinks were reasonable and cocktail pitchers were very nice and a good price, definitely go back again

First off bar staff was friendly. Our starters were good. Got the actual main the chips were not cooked properly. Chicken was burnt but seemed to be okay. We had finished our food then got asked multiple times for dessert but said no all the time. After the last person asked they then went to the bar and was talking about us and pointing and staring at us. Which made us feel uncomfortable so we instantly left

Use to call here about a year ago and food was ok ish . Been recently -twice , and a friend has and the food was terrible. Dont bother wasting your money until they sort it out ..

Went today on the off chance after being put off a year ago by dreadful food , was impressed today . Caroline was serving us today and couldn't do enough for us and the children. All staff members were really helpful , Service was really good , food was really good and we ate the lot and even stayed for desert for once , I will be back again after this visit , thank you.

What a lovely atmosphere, very chilled for a Sunday which can be so busy. The staff were very pleasant and professional. You can’t fault the food for the price. For me the Cheesy Garlic Ciabatta was one of the best I’ve had. However, both mine and my partner’s favourites was the beautiful puddings. I opted for the donut, she went for the Sweet Nachos. My god what a taste sensation them Nachos were! My donut was excellent value and so good. We most definitely will be back.

It was our first time here for a meal with our friends. Had beautiful roast beef dinner. The staff was really nice and helpful too. Will ho there again soon.
