Went to a 80th birthday party at ‘The OtherPlace’. On walking in to the lounge room on a very cold night, straight away you could feel the room was very cold. We asked if the heating was on and was told that it wasn’t as the cold buffet food was laid out and they didn’t want it to get warm. People in their 60’s 70’s and 80’s were sitting around in their coats all evening just to keep warm. Having to walk through the bar to go to the toilet the bar area was lovely and warm with the regulars sitting around without their coats Just one more thing, they couldn’t sell gin and tonic as they didn’t have any tonic???

Absolutely disgusting. I ordered a ham, egg and potatoes for breakfast, and it cost me almost 8 pound, when it arrived I was surprised to see wafer thin ham which for price is unbelievable, the eggs were rock solid and cold and the potatoes were soggy. Do not order here, not worth the money.

The food there is lovely.. But please don't go there if you a homosexual as staff decided to talk about you in the reception area in full hearing of paying customer. I got banned last night from the venue as staff talk about people who go to the gym. Friends of mine over heard a conversation about myself being poofy a gay to gay and some I can't write here so me being me went over and told them to they face . But then I had my pic done with a member of staff the other night and after I left was told the member of staff said I did not really want my pic taken with him. Thing is I'm known everywhere not for being poofy mind. People who go here make sure you look good because they talk about everyone. They talk about each other witch I find bad if I'm honest. I have spoken to a lot of people. And they have left for feeling uncomfortable being there. Think they all gone to the new gym by b&m they said lot better there. I'm off to the new leisure center in neath. Bye bye new plazza. Yeah and they can't get anyone to do classes there as no one wants to do it there... Terrible really bad. I been going there since it opened.. And they treat people like that. Don't waist your money

Failed to complete order, when contacted about the mistake was told meals would be added to account for future order. When order placed a few weeks later denied all knowledge! Hope you enjoyed the money you pocketed on my behalf. Will take great pleasure in advising people of your good awful service!!!

While the nation is forced to tighten it’s belt on spend, this establishment is taking full advantage, you need to spend over £20 to get a free pompadom, every other take away in Port Talbot Indian: Bombay Spice etc,, you get free pomading when you spend £9… when it arrived the chips were like cardboard and curry/spare ribs were Luke warm, the percentage of profit on food is huge to start with, this is pure greed and shouldn’t be assisted, AVOID unless you have no regard for your hard earned cash 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽

Awful as usual, good job that I didn't eat anything.

17 March 25, morning, 3 staff working, only me at the counter, one lady on the other side was preparing a tray, did not acknowledge me, apologise or ask me to wait. Two other staff wandered back and forth, one cooking, one collecting crockery to wash. After about 7 minutes of being ignored I decided to just sit down and forego my coffee. This isn't the first time this has happened, but in fairness only with this crew. A fortnight ago with different staff customer service was good. Someone needs to tell them where their priorities should lie.

Come here as a last resort. The atmosphere? Imagine a haunted nightclub - blaring demonic techno at 9am. Food? Ordered a sausage bap and got... one lonely sausage. A crime against breakfast. Truly an experience, just not the kind I ever want to repeat.

Rice was wet and soggy. Like it had been previously frozen and microwaved. Biryani was really flavourless

My mother and I decided to go out for food. The food was excellent, and our waitress Shannon went above and beyond. She was completely run off her feet but was attentive to every single customer we could see from our table! Well done to this young lady!!

Called in on 20/5/2025 bought chicken nugget share box and 2 medium fries, got home to find 16 nuggets and hard cold fries, this is second time I’ve been done out of chicken nuggets, obviously your staff can’t count

Food is always 10/10 and the staff are always friendly and happy to help by far best bakery in the world

Wasn't opened by 9am. Online says open at 8. Couldn't get breakfast before exam. Great job to the person behind the counter well done.
