The best restaurants in Neath Port Talbot South Wales

Wasn't opened by 9am. Online says open at 8. Couldn't get breakfast before exam. Great job to the person behind the counter well done.

Just popped in for a KFC zinge burger on it's own. What I got was a super tiny slice of dry chicken, the coating was also burnt. Won't pay 99p, let alone £5.99 for an awful minature burger. So bad I binned it! Stay well clear...... it really is that bad! Could not make it any worse value or taste if one tried.

If you want a Terrible experience with awful food and useless service I recommend a visit to Dominos in Neath. Undercooked pizza was served, absolutely disgusting and dripping with oil and grease. I will never visit Dominos again

Ordered take away at 6.30pm on new years eve. 8.30 pm still waiting for food. Telephoned and were told the driver was out delivering and we were due on his next delivery. Assumed it was down to the fact it was new years eve and they were busy. Another hr or so and we ended up collecting it ourselves. The shop was empty and our food was boxed up but they had completely left out one meal. On getting it home the food was cold, greasy and had a strange oily taste. It looked awful and that's how it tasted. Wouldn't use it again or recommend to anyone else.

Every time I go to Neath Subway there is attitude when I order gluten free. It seems that the staff there in the Neath Shop don't understand how important cross contamination is. Gloves need to be changed. Also I cannot have the meat out of the counter as there is bread crumbs that come off and falls into the counter. Wheat is an allergen. If I could eat it I would. Each time I go there I am made to feel like an inconvenience and that it is too much trouble. One girl in particular tells the other staff that gloves don't need changing. This is my individual health being taken for granted when gluten makes me seriously unwell. It's not a choice. Id love nothing more than to have a hearty Italian, but I cannot. Less attitude and more understand and knowledge from the staff would be fantastic.

Great venue with lovely decor, staff were very attentive and created a great atmosphere. Unfortunately the menu was limited and food we ordered was poor. Chef is letting the team down.

Just to start with a positive: the coffee was good. Went here yesterday with a friend. I can’t comment on his food but I had avocado on what was meant to be sourdough toast (which was actually just white sliced bread) - little tip, While I maybe nearly 50 You don’t need to mash avocado as though it’s for a 6 month old. Why do you need better service. Well in an age of rising costs, customers are king! So the ‘chef’ put the food on the table and I asked her if we could have two more coffee’s and her reply was we have to go up to the counter to order…”it says on the menu” She proceeded to walk behind the counter and passed the only other staff member, working behind the counter. The cafe is about 400sq ft with about 6/7 tables and I’m sitting 1 table away from the counter. So while my mate ate his bacon sandwich, up I got to walk the 4 steps to the counter to order two coffees to give my order, and advise the chef “it says on the menu sourdough, and that’s white sliced bread” Anyhow they brought the coffee table.

Have used this restaurant for many years - both eat-in and takeaway. It used to be very good ... the standard by which I judged others. The last 2 visits (both take away) were not very good. #1 Food order was wrong, and didn't find out until we got home, ended up with one meal that could not be eaten ! #2 Ordered good selection of items, and when we got home the meals were really bland .... no depth of flavour, no individual tastes .... just a puree sauce and little meat, very poor (all of the meals) Unlikely we will be returning

Staff are always friendly. Always received a good level of service and the chips are always fresh, hot and tasty. The curry sauce is so tasty I like the 'hot' sauce which is just the right heat for me. Will certainly recommend this long standing family business.

Awful customer service from a young girl called Sophia who started shouting across the busy store, because we didn’t pay to sit in and didn’t even ask us if we were but claimed she did, then stated that I was being disrespectful but she was shouting first.

Ordered food online, 2 meals one with rice one with chips. No chips in the bag . Phoned them straight away to ask for the driver to come back with the chips to be told cant promise that as we are busy. Had to go out and buy chips from the chippy. Lost my custom and I order from the regulary.
