Popped in here with work after some gorge jumping down Dinas Rock, absolutely amazing food, great prices👌 strongly recommend the steak and ale pie

Not a fan to be honest. Staff are great, it's the prices that are over the top.

My wife and I visited for the first time for Sunday Lunch. We thoroughly enjoyed our top quality dishes served faultlessly by well trained staff. Faced with the choice of a good selection of meats we both selected the beef which was a prime cut, excellently cooked and presented with more than ample vegetables on the side. There is also a good selection of very nice starters and desserts. Finally I am gluten intolerant and on arrival I made staff aware of this. They were not only aware but knowledgable, adjustments were made to my meal with staff quietly advising me throughout of the changes made, thank you. We will be returning.

Just the two of us but I’ve never been in such a relaxed atmosphere! Stunning food in a beautiful setting and the ladies that served us were so welcoming and chatty! Nothing was too much effort for them. Thank you so much! Bad part: you can’t leave a tip using your card. Cash tips only! We will be back!

Very nice vibe, service was great and everyone had a friendly face. Quick to be served and for the food to be ready and the quality of the food was great. Great pricing and location also. Was a very nice breakfast which set me up for the day.

Average meal. Very plain and boring gammon with chips peas and eggs. Gammon overcooked and hard. Fish had very thick, heavy batter. Chips okay but bit shrivelled. Staff pleasant enough Overpriced for quality provided

What a disappointment myself and my husband wanted food at 11.45am. Only to be told that they would not be serving food for another half an hour. The young man who was front of house could have informed us of this as I picked up the menu as I walked in. We was seated by the young man but I don’t think he had much interest in helping us I felt like a bit of an inconvenience. When we waited to be served my husband noticed a lot of people coming in and just leaving must have been at least half a dozen people wanting to eat at this restaurant. What a stupid policy shutting the kitchen down for 30mins never heard of anything so stupid what a decision someone has made. You are losing a lot of money 💰

Great place to stay. We felt welcome from the minute we walked in. Looking to book there for our overnight stop next year. Might end stay for 2 nights.

We visited but was closed, had a sale sign up so don't think its open anymore. Looked like a lovely place to go. Was gutted

Went to a christening and buffet back at Loft...absolutely disgraceful ...not enough food to go around....children and adults went without My friends and family will never go there again

Well set out bar restaurant small service area but adequate was there for Sunday carvery with family good selection of meats and vegetables good sized portions helpful friendly staff and minimal waiting time well worth a return visit and good value for money

Quality food at a very reasonable price! The ribeye steak is amazing here, I have had it many times and it had always been delicious! Amazing job on the Halloween decorations 👍
