The best restaurants in Llanishen Cardiff South Wales

My sister and I were attending a family occasion and wanted to find a cafe for a cup of tea as we had an hour to spare. Lucky for us we found the honeybee house tearooms. It was extremely busy but the welcoming staff found us a table and we ordered Narnia hot chocolate. The most delicious hot chocolate I have ever had with a lovely Turkish delight flavour. Thank you so much to the friendly staff we will see you again next time we’re in Cardiff as we need to try your cakes.

My favourite place to go, fantastic home made food, especially the aubergine bake I'm addicted, always a friendly welcome at Rex, best coffee in Cardiff and the cakes are devine!!! Really fair prices and worth every single penny, great little home from home vibe, so perfect flying solo and with friends, dogs allowed and fussed over :)

Almorzamos con amigos en el Manor Parc. La comida era deliciosa y presentada perfectamente. El personal era amable y atento. Siempre se siente como un placer y nada es demasiado problema. Si usted está buscando una empresa familiar con buenos valores y principios, este es el lugar para usted. Si usted está buscando un almuerzo alcohólico, la cena entonces posiblemente pruebe las cadenas que no están demasiado lejos.

Con vistas sobre Cardiff y el canal de Bristol, es difícil no dejarse impresionar por la ubicación de la tienda de la granja. Junto con alimentos saludables, una tienda bien surtida y una colección de animales amigables para la granja, es difícil no gustarle este lugar.

Located in a church with imited car parking on site. Smallish menu but lovely food. Very friendly service. Very busy when we visited.

Sarcastic camp staff ride to customers and Slservice is painfully slow!!! Sort it out!

I love checking reviews of places I used to or still visit and noticed that they actually reply to reviews.. I have sent an email on 15/12/2023 for missing items and incorrectly cooked food, however over an year and still havent even heard a sorry from them! I havent been to this fintans since then.

Had a regular coffee, Mrs had a hot chocolate, plenty of seating, friendly service and atmosphere 😋

Had our first session with the ukulele group. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Booked a table via website, for 8 pm, 7 people for food plus others drinking, went to order food to be told kitchen closed (8.25) table booking until 10 pm on web site. Overall frosty reception from staff considering it's a hospitality industry! Not the first time a pretty unfriendly welcome there, won't be returning.

The Ffynnon Wen provided us with a lovely location for my mother's wake - the private room we had was perfect for us (30+ people). All attending were complimentary about the catering provided too. We found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. Thank you so much for making a difficult day so much more bearable.

My wifes order was not put through initially and she was kept waiting for 25 minutes by which time both of my children had eaten and were upset. My wifes fries were cold by the time her food came and when my son asked for mayo the assistant suggested that he would have to pay 60p. Avoid this place as it was a disaster even though there were more staff around than customer

Awful. We had breakfast here this morning snd what a waste. Was so looking forward to it. Firstly I picked up 5 mugs for coffee and everyone was very badly chipped. One coffee was cold Bacon was hard and cold, mushroom tasteless, egg solid, hash browns had a funny taste - sausages looked cremated but tasted ok. Won’t be returning
