Absolutely lovely. Sunday lunch for 12 plus a baby and it was simply lovely. Setting is gorgeous, service fantastic and great food, well priced £31pp for 3 courses. What’s not to like!

Attended a funeral buffet this week and it was so excellent I felt I needed to review. A very hard day for the family and the staff were so kind. Nothing was too much trouble. The food at the buffet was all home made and delightful and the biggest tick for me was the tea was boiling hot. Not often do you get this. A lovely end to a very emotional day. Will be back to try the Sunday lunch very soon. Thank you again manor parc. Mrs M

We went for a reception post funeral. The buffet and service of it were excellent. Provided a very good gluten free plate of food for me by prior arrangement.

Visited with my parents for a celebration. Absolutely blown away by the service. Every member of staff was so polite, professional, attentive , yet not overbearing. Coffee and tea was refilled on request. Never made to feel like anything was too much trouble. The staff are just superb and that really adds to the treat of an afternoon tea. The weather was gorgeous so we were sat on the terrace with beautiful garden views. The food was glorious. Everything made from scratch and you can tell. The quality and quantity was perfect. The scones were delicious and served with a good amount of cream and jam. I honestly would not hesitate to book here again. Thank you Manor Parc

We recently took our mum to celebrate her 80th birthday at the hotel’s restaurant. We had the three course Sunday menu. The food was great, the staff were really friendly and helpful, and the venue very nice. They were very happy to bring out our birthday cake and sang happy birthday. We all had a thoroughly lovely time, mum was made to feel very special and we would highly recommend it to others.

I had a lovely dinner at the Manor Parc restaurant earlier this month. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. A really lovely meal with a view! Would really recommend this beautiful family run restaurant!

Booked afternoon tea for a family members 80th Birthday and guests. Taken in the main restaurant area with the 'domed' ceiling and surroundings were quite pleasant. Offered tea or coffee and then presented with 4 single cut finger sandwiches, tiny sausage roll and a selection of cakes. This scones were very dry, mice pie was all pastry, macaroon and a small sponge cup cake. To say this was a disappointment is an understatement. At £22.00 per head, I did not feel this was value for money and highly unlikely we would return. Staff were polite and courteous.

The manager here appears to be channeling an even ruder version of Basil Fawlty. We booked a meal to celebrate my father's 90th birthday today. When my sister enquired if we could bring a birthday cake she was met with mind blowing rudeness and hostility. He objected to us" using his electricity" while eating the cake., accused my sister of trying to bribe him when she offered to pay a surcharge and told her he did not care how old my father was or who he was we still could not eat birthday cake! She was then told that they would act in a 'professional ' manner on the night, despite our audacity and " We would be allowed to sing Happy Birthday" Needless to say we cancelled our meal. We will be contacting the owners of the hotel to make a complaint about this. Please don't go here . Fawlty Towers was funny, but this really was not

I wish I could give 10 stars to this restaurant. Why? Because everything about it was exceptional. I had booked on recommendation and my goodness I was so pleased I had. From the lovely welcome to the end of the day was just perfect We had travelled to Cardiff to take my very special sister in law out to lunch for her 80th birthday. First let me tell you about the staff. All very young. All very smiley, all very attentive without being intrusive. Efficient, kind, caring and very very good. They made us feel nothing was too much trouble. My sister in law has very arthritic fingers and struggled to cut the roast potatoes, next thing one of the fantastic waiters was there with a sharp knife cutting them into to edible size pieces for her. 5* for thoughtfulness All of the staff were superb and I absolutely can not fault the service in any way The Food 😳 now firstly you need to know I am a fussy eater. The Sunday menu was made for me. A starter of a Welsh Rarebit, ( absolutely 5* delicious) a main course of sea bass (absolutely cooked to perfection) and desert of pavlova …. Did I die and go to heaven? It was sublime. We were a table of 6, 4 Welsh Rarebit starters, perfect flavour and the toast was so light. 1 whitebait perfectly cooked Mains 3 Welsh lamb ( melt in the mouth apparently) 1 Roast beef ( again a melt in the mouth) 2 sea bass … cooked to perfection. Lovely selection of potatoes and vegetables We then had the birthday cake ( we checked with the hotel that it was fine for us to bring one… not a problem for them) brought in, not by 1 but all of the delightful waiters and waitresses singing Happy Birthday ( sister in law by now, reduced to tears…happy tears) how wonderful. Desert trolley … oh my word what a selection. 1 trifle, 4 Pavlova, 1 Mille Fuille. After the meal we moved into the garden for tea, coffee and birthday cake…..again, nothing was too much trouble for these incredible young people. I can not express how much we appreciated everything the staff did for us today. It made the day so very special for my Sister in Law and it made me very grateful I took up the recommendation. I think one also has to compliment the management on the staff behaviour, training and service. They obviously care about the staff and train them exceptionally well. The customers care excels If you have a special day/date/event coming up you can do no better than this beautiful restaurant, it’s chef, it’s waiting staff, it’s management

Excellent dinner experience. Great flavours and having had three courses I was suitably satisfied. Reasonable prices for the very high quality and exceptional service. Will certainly be back.

EXCEPTIONAL afternoon tea, the flavours of the perfectly baked cakes complimented each other. The sandwiches were cut to perfection with just the right amount of filling inside and the sausage roll was the best we have ever tasted. The staff went above and beyond, the atmosphere was relaxing and we all felt extremely comfortable sat in a extremely clean and well decorated room. Thank you everyone at this beautiful hotel!

Mario and the team made my mother’s 80th Birthday celebration a day to remember. We had the private room booked for our party of 15 and where it did not disappoint. The room was was elegantly made up with a large table where we were allowed to decorate the room with family flowers,balloons and background music. The food and service by the team can only be described as exceptional (first class) I would definitely recommend the restaurant it’s such a hidden gem problem the best occasion I have attended in a number of years Well done Mario *****

We celebrated my grandma’s 95th birthday recently wirh afternoon tea. Half our party got lost and ended up being half an hour late and the staff were absolutely lovely about it and assured us it was fine. Once we were all finally there we were so well looked after, they were unbelievably attentive, helpful and so so friendly. The food was delicious and overall it was a brilliant experience, we highly recommend it.

Food was well cooked, but not enough flavour. Very small main course. Poor quality food. Bland sausage for breakfast. Cheap tasteless cheeses on the cheese board.

Exceptional Sunday lunch an festive afternoon tea. Visited twice in the last few weeks and the quality and value are excellent. The team are first rate and so welcoming. Covid security is the best I have seen.

My husband booked a table at the Manor Parc for Valentine’s Day. He had phoned the hotel in advance having looked at the menu online and had spoken to Vicky to request a chicken dish for me, she assured him it wouldn’t be a problem confirming what the dish would be and he booked a table. On arrival we were greeted by Mario and led into the bar and immediately a waitress took our drinks order. Minutes later the restaurant manager (can’t remember his name) gave us our menus and the wine list. We ordered and my husband mentioned the chicken dish of which he was already aware of. We were led to our table in the candle lit restaurant which looked absolutely perfect. Our first course arrived the risotto for my husband and chicken parfait for me. Absolutely delicious. The main course arrived my husband had the fillet of Welsh beef and I had the chicken dish from the a la carts menu which stated came with a mushroom sauce. The chicken was unfortunately not what I expected and didn’t resemble the description from the a la cart menu, it was very dry and there was no mushroom sauce it tasted like chicken with a tiny bit of gravy. The waitress did ask us if we were enjoying our meal and I did say it was very dry there was no hint of any tarragon with the carrots either and there were literally two small mushrooms on the plate but definitely no mushroom sauce. I didn’t finish my meal as it really had no flavour and was just two little pieces of dry chicken. I didn’t make a fuss as the evening was so lovely and the staff and service was first class. When the restaurant manager came over to enquire if we had enjoyed the main course I told him that the sauce with my chicken tasted like a thin watery gravy and there was literally a dessert spoonful of it. He confirmed that was the correct sauce he gave it a name which most certainly didn’t involve mushrooms and that there was only a small amount of it!!!!!!!! I wasn’t particularly impressed that the meal my husband had gone out of his way to pre-order me wasn’t I was served. We finished the meal with a pavlova and cheese board and asked for the bill. My husband was disappointed that my food wasn’t what he’d ordered with Vicky but I assured him I’d had a lovely evening which I had but was disappointed that the mushroom sauce had been replaced by a watery gravy not what I expected at all. Apart from my main course the evening was lovely, service excellent and staff friendly and professional. We are going to book a table for Sunday lunch soon.

Recientemente disfrutamos de una celebración familiar a la hora del almuerzo para celebrar un cumpleaños significativo en el restaurante Cedar Room, Manor Parc. La ocasión no podía ser criticada de ninguna manera. Antes del evento, nos reunimos con Stewart, el gerente general, para discutir nuestros requisitos. Él fue muy servicial y nos ayudó a diseñar un menú que pudiera acomodar los requisitos dietéticos específicos de nuestro grupo. En el día, todo el personal fue excelente y realmente mejoró la experiencia general para todos los asistentes al evento. Hemos pasado un día fantástico aquí para un almuerzo de 40 cumpleaños de amigos. El Orangerie es simplemente hermoso y la comida era increíble, un menú realmente encantador y muy bien cocinados y presentados. El personal era muy atento y el vino fluía, solo un día perfecto. Muchas gracias a todos.

Had dinner on a Monday night a couple of weeks ago. Haven't been here for quite a few years. I like the new decor and the food has improved tremendously! Staff are always friendly and attentive.

Even though we have been visiting this venue for over 30 years and our expectations high, our anniversary lunch today was superb. The food was exquisite and the service, as ever, highly professional. No hesitation in continuing to recommend this Hotel and restaurant.

I got married her 7 years ago come on 8 this year and the place was amazing! The staff were on top form nothing was to much trouble and the food was so fresh tasting which is a hard thing to do for 80 odd people! We also stayed the night, the room was clean and smelt great the bedding was clean nd fresh smelling! Amazing place and thank you for an amazing memory

The food and service at the Manor Parc is outstanding. We had valentines dinner there and the layout of the restaurant was fantastic and the 3 course menu was perfect.

Had afternoon tea for my sister in laws baby shower, the food and staff are just excellent, afternoon tea was lovely with lots of top ups of tea/coffee. Highly recommend it. I have also been for food with my family before many times and it’s a friendly welcoming place. They have also refurbished and it looks really classy and fresh, fab place to have wedding.

This was my third visit to the Manor Parc Hotel and we absolutely loved it.. I have been once for my 30th family lunch and they made such a fuss of us and all 24 of us were so happy with the food, service and the room itself. We were deciding where to go on Christmas day this year as we wanted something different, so chose here and we have already decided to come back next year.. The staff were very busy, but that didn't stop the amazing service and having a good time with us. The food was just perfect, the standard and portions. I love the bar area too, after we ate we sat and had a few drinks and it rounded off the most special day. I am hoping to book to go back again very soon :)

This was my second Christmas Day spent at the Manor Parc and feel I need to write and say how wonderful it was. It feels warm and welcoming and the staff were all really friendly and happy. We were a large group and everyone went away very happy and more than satisfied. Our food was first class and the atmosphere was wonderful too. My elderly, disabled mother was looked after so attentively too. It was just great and we will be returning year after year! Thank you Manor Parc team!

El servicio también es muy bueno. ¿El filete de ternera? 2 verduras en la mesa también y su comida se veía y sabía maravilloso. Todos muy felices. Regresé para un baby shower este sábado y estaba igualmente feliz con el té de la tarde. Todo hecho en casa y los bollos recién salidos del horno. La gente siempre es tan rápida como para dejar comentarios negativos, así que sentí que era muy importante después de 2 visitas y me sentía muy satisfecha, debería escribirles y avisarles. ¡Que su cálida bienvenida y su toque personal sean siempre su sello!

We’ve been having lunch at the Manor Parc for years. Judging from the number of people we remember from previous visits so do lots of others. For us it’s the combination of nice food (especially lots of vegetables), reasonably priced drinks and attentive, efficient service that brings us back. We broke tradition this year by having Christmas Day lunch there. Obviously a bit more expensive but the same high standards. It’s always reassuring to see the owner of this family run business on hand. It’s particularly nice in good weather as you can sit outside in the lovely grounds.

Tuvimos nuestra celebración de bodas de oro en Manor Parc y tuvimos una comida para 15 personas en una habitación privada. La comida era excelente, muy bien presentada y servida sin demora. El personal fue muy servicial, la habitación bien distribuida. Todo fue muy bien y nuestros invitados dijeron que lo disfrutaron mucho. En general, fue perfecto. Gracias Manor Parc por hacerlo tan agradable.

Recently went to a buffet lunch after a funeral. I would never have my wake at the Manor Parc. The choice of sandwiches was terrible cheap and tacky and so limited the sausage rolls were dry and value for money was just not there. Even the coffee was in sachets. They also charged £1 for a glass of tap water and limited to 2 ice cubes in the drink. The drinks were massively overpriced in general and again limited to 2 ice cubes in this weather and staff did not even speak to you and showed no attention and were completely stone-faced

We enjoyed a superb Sunday roast dinner, everything was cooked to perfection and full of flavour. It is becoming more difficult to find a good venue for a Sunday roast but I can recommend the Manor Parc without hesitation. Excellent, prompt and professional service too.

We had a meal on 1st June to celebrate my husband's birthday. The food was superb and the staff were so attentive we are definitely going again.

Had afternoon tea her for a friend's 70th birthday. The first thing I noticed was the smell of the room we were in, it smelt a bit like a toilet with a bit if stale cigarettes, wasn't very pleasant.

A group of us had a really delicious Sunday lunch here, which was of generous proportions, very high quality, and efficiently served. The sweet trolley (when did you last see a SWEET TROLLEY!) was loaded with spectacular high calorie concoctions, and the price for the fixed menu was very reasonable.

Cannot praise the staff enough, sensitively and professionally understanding our needs at an obviously difficult time. The food was superb, fresh, plentiful and beautifully presented. Thank you to all concerned.

We went to this restaurant in celebration of my dad's 80th Birthday for lunch. From the moment we arrived we were treated with kindness and courtesy and nothing was too much trouble. I had taken along a cake but not checked first whether this was ok. Not only were the staff happy to bring this out at the end of the meal but they joined in singing happy birthday alongside us which was a lovely touch. The meal was lovely and there was good choice from the set lunch menu. Would highly recommend!

Visited for lunch with a group of slimming world friends we had a three course meal everything we had was excellent. I had mushrooms to start which we so tasty and well presented. I then had a beef dinner which was hot and delicious. To finish I had a trifle gorgeous. To finish we had coffee and mince pies. Value for money and would recommend.

We rang to try and book a Sunday lunch after being badly let down by Miskin Manor and despite being busy we were told they could fit us in if we got there in 30 minutes. We did so and from first to last received the marvellously warm welcome we have come to expect from our favourite place in Cardiff. Marco our friend and head man in the restaurant made us feel perfectly at home and the food was as ever wonderful. If you have only one place to have lunch in Cardiff on a Sunday please make it Manor Parc!

Wow! Having been lucky enough to celebrate our Silver Wedding abroad, our daughter and boyfriend treated us to Sunday lunch at the MP. Never ever disappointed. We were treated by Mario, Giuseppe & the whole team with such respect and courtesy. Yeah ok, but what about the food? If you love a great traditional Sunday lunch, with a hint of Italian cuisine ( e.g. Arrancini starter (( apologies for spelling)) subtly blended in, it's the place to go especially if you like traditional silver service set in venue with a view to die for. I almost did! My football team won on Sat and the MP won on Sunday. Great weekend. Give it a go if you like classic dining. You really won't be disappointed.

On the occasion of my 70th Birthday Sunday Lunch , we had more than 50 guests. The planning of this event by Manor Parc was first class, reassuring , and provided real confidence. Despite the numbers , our friends and family were offered a choice of 4 starters, and 4 main courses at the table - the restaurant was excellent in organising and delivering this. The quality of the food and service was outstanding and they allowed us to stay a long time, enjoying the venue and continuing service at the bar !Little touches , like providing warmed milk at the right temperature , late on, for the younger babies was much appreciated , and indicative of the top class personal service. The feedback from our guests has without exception been very very positive. Thank you Manor Parc - We had great day !!

This was my first visit to this restaurant, and first impressions were good. We were shown straight to our table, the room with the orangerie was light, spacious and nicely decorated. The lunch menu was varied and the food delicious. There was only one other couple in the restaurant, but that wasn't a problem as we like peaceful surroundings when eating! The waiter who initially served us was a little dour - I don't think I saw him smile once! he also took our side plates away before we had even chosen our bread rolls! I'll give him the benefit of the doubt - perhaps he was new and I'm sure he'll improve. He must have finished his shift at 2pm as a waitress then appeared to take our desert order and coffee - a little disconcerting to suddenly have a change of server. However, that is only a small point, and we will probably return as the food was excellent.

This hotel is in a good location, just north of the M4, with good links to Cardiff and the surrounding area. Staff are attentive and helpful, and the rooms are more than adequate, with a good bed and all the facilities (tea, coffee, TV, etc) that you would expect. WiFi was available, but I found that 4G was quicker.Breakfast was cooked to order, and the bacon was outstanding!So far so good, bu there's a "but" coming - a big "BUT..." On the night I stayed there was also a wedding reception being held. Luckily for the happy couple they had a superb DJ with a very good sound system that meant that I could hear every word the DJ said and every beat of every song in my room. I contacted reception to ask what time the music would stop, only to be cheerily told that it would be 1:00am. No hint of an apology.Before writing this review I contacted the hotel to seek an explanation and why hadn't I been informed beforehand that such an event was being hosted? Again, no apology, only an explanation that, in such hotels these things were only to be expected, and has I had booked through Booking.com they had no way of contacting me.So, good hotel, but check what events are being held before you book!

Visited as part of a group of 24 for a Birthday meal.Good parking, very nice surroundings, and an immaculate restaurant. Food was delicious and prepared to the highest standards. Couldn't have asked for better waiting staff, as service was surprisingly quick for a group our size. Nobody was left waiting, and young children were accommodated with a little extra attention. Staff attentive but not intrusive.While certainly not cheap, value here was high and the food quality very very good. Desserts really were special too.When in the area, will be sure to visit again.

3 course lunch was delicious. Fresh produce cooked to perfection and the desserts were unbelievable. Choice of at least 10 desserts and all made by the chef. The staff were attentive but not intrusive, the building and gardens are lovely too. Can not fault this place and looking forward to my next visit.

This hotel is owned and operated by an Italian familly. They have so much pride of their hotel and the quality of service delivered. We have been here several times and they have never failed to deliver top quality food.

Manor Park is lovely hotel and well established. We had Sunday lunch and the food and service were brilliant. Great views in a lovely relaxing hotel environment.

Having been to a friend's funeral we all went to the Manor Parc for the reception afterwards. We were served sandwiches and drinks. The reception we received by the staff was without fault. All the food was served fresh and was very tasty. The Italian staff were very professional.

The £25 Sunday lunch was excellent value for money! Delicious fresh-cooked food and beautifully served with full silver service. Mario, the maitre'd, was very accommodating.Highly recommended!

The Manor Parc is Cardiff's hidden gem! The newly refurbished restaurant is classy and elegant but it still maintains it's family run roots. The food is excellent (best Sunday lunch I've had), and the dessert trolley is to die for, but the highlight is the attentive yet unobtrusive way the staff look after you. If you are looking for a romantic night out, family event or larger celebration I can't recommend the Manor Parc enough.

Held a lunch for 20 people in the Cedar Room for my father's 90th Birthday. The small bar outside the room had been set up for us for pre-lunch drinks. The Cedar room had been partitioned off to make a room perfect for our party size. It was bright, nicely furnished, and set up with a large oval table. We decorated the room with balloons and banners, with the help of Rocco. We pre-ordered a 2 course meal and the food was hot and delicious, generous portions and everyone enjoyed it. Marco and all his staff were so helpful and friendly and the whole afternoon went like clockwork. We were absolutely delighted with the day and can't recommend them highly enough. Thank you so much for making it such a special day for my father.

Last week we had a very special meal here for our Aunty's 90th birthday. It was a total surprise for her and the staff played along with the secret. The food was superb and the surprise cheesecake with a lit candle and the staff singing 'happy birthday' made her day. We understand the hotel is being refurbished at the moment, despite this the staff coped admirably.Our aunt has used this hotel for meals for many years and to have her special meal there was great. Thank you to all the staff.

We went with a group of like minded folk for a dinner dance, as we are all members of a dance club. Arrived at 7:00 a bit of a dreary night, but had a wonderful time. The food was very good, it is always difficult to serve a large party like this at the same time, but the staff did this wonderfully. The staff were excellent and extremely polite, they are a real asset to this business. The dance floor is quite small, especially as there were some 50 of us there and we all wanted to dance. We moved the tables away from the dance area and created a larger place to dance, this worked quite well, not quite the same as dancing on the wooden floor, but it worked.All in all a good night and I would definately go back there!

I celebrated my 80th birthday a couple of months ago at the Manor Parc, with about 40 relatives and friends. It was marvellous evening, made perfect by the manager, Mario, and his staff.As I have some Italian relatives, Mario created a special menu of Italian food. It was outstanding. There was a wide range of excellent food including gluten free options, lasagne etc.I cannot speak too highly of there service and the quality of food and drink. It all made for a memorable evening.There was another function at the same time, 5pm till late, and you would never have guessed. There was no room hire fee as the party was over 20 people. There was even a separate area for the children's entertainer. 50s music was provided ( I am 80 after all) And everything from welcoming drinks to dessert was well nigh perfect.I would recommend this venue for any medium sized event. In fact an American guest of mine is coming over later in the year with a party of artists on a painting trip to Wales to be based at Manor Parc who will even provide a painting room. Outstanding.

We were a party of nine out for a family Christmas get together. The food, service and atmosphere were great. The food is served by silver service staff and is excellent. The dessert trolley is to die for, could have eaten everything on it! The service was excellent and newly refurbished room is lovely. Would highly recommend a visit.

The main dining room has been redecorated since we were here last, and it's consequently a much nicer room. Service was excellent but the food was only average for the price. We were very disappointed to find, at the end of the meal, that they could only find individual portions of decaffeinated coffee - not something one would expect from a place like this.....

We booked the venue to celebrate our Diamond Wedding. There was a gathering of 40+ friends and family for a buffet meal starting at 1500 in the delightful Cedar Room. It had been specially decorated for the event. There was a continuous slideshow of our life together. The grandchildren were highly amused at many slides of growing up. At 1630, we sat down to a wonderful buffet which was efficiently served. Second helpings were freely available followed by delightful desserts, teas, coffees and a cheese board. Everyone thought it was a wonderful meal. We think the Manor Parc Hotel was a great venue for our special day.

Very friendly and helpful staff, hotel and room was clean and everything worked.Bed was comfortable and shower was great.Food was good. A lovely and quiet hotel.Even found room for me to park my coach.Approx 5 miles from Cardiff city centre20 mins by bus I'll would book again.

We dined here for dinner and it was our first visit to the hotel and we were very pleased with the service and the food. The waiting staff and management were very professional and they could not do enough for us. We have food allergies and it is normally an issue with some restaurant's but not here, they took my allergies on board and even made recommendations to suit my needs.We felt very at home and relaxed with the hotel and the staff, we had a really good night out. Highly recommended!!!!!!The hotel does need a refurbishment but after the night we had, it did not really matter to us.Thanks to the staff!!!!!

Went with Mum at short notice and the staff fitted us in event though it was clearly very busy. Excellent food soup tasty and served with lovely bread and Welsh butter. Desert trolley to die for well cooked pork we ate but they offer choice of meats and also fish too.

Sunday lunch at the Manor Parc has been a "place to go" for decades and it remains an excellent value for money silver service venue. The recently decorated main dining/function room has been updated with new lighting, mirrors lighter colour scheme to provide a wonderful airy atmosphere.( The other main areas will follow with this phased upgrading) serving approx. 150 covers at Sunday lunch appears effortless with everything served by hand at the table and piping hot. Dirty plates are removed promptly. The dessert trolley contains an array of home made delights, to round off an excellent experience which has never disappointed.

Our friends and I visited the Manor Parc on Bank Holiday Monday. August. 4 adults and 4 children. We were so lucky with the sunshine we were offered a table on the veranda. They have a gorgeous shaded area to eat so you can watch the children play on the perfectly manicured gardens.the food and service were absolutely spot on. We had a wonderful lunch and shall return very soon for sure.

Sunday lunch, pre drinks in a pleasant lounge adjoining the dining area.Readily replenished crisps to accompany drinks avidly devoured by our 10 year old. Time to peruse the menu over drinks. Drinks carried by the waiting staff to our table. Delightfully decorated dining area, plenty of room between tables. Plenty of staff on hand to assist with serving. All main course dishes served by the waiting staff onto warmed plated. Food excellent. Plenty of vegetables served onto plates. Superbly presented dessert trolley on show to tempt you. Sunday lunch £25 for adults, under 10s around £18. Kids catered for but not a kiddy restaurant. To my knowledge there was not a child menu.

I stay here every two weeks on business. The service is 5 star. The food is excellent.Mario and his team are fantastic. All the things you need for a great stay. Reasonably priced too. A good selection of Wines as well.

Stayed here for business visit recently. Went to the restaurant for the first night, felt like I was ignored due to being on my own for the evening and eating, wanted more drinks- no one around. Wanted dessert- had to wait 15 mins to see a menu. Restaurant was not busy, staff must have other priorities. My second night I visited a local restaurant which is a steak house around 500 yards up the road. Much preferred the service and service was fantastic. May need a lesson from some of them waiters and waitresses. Very attentive from start to finish.

Stayed the night at Manor Parc following family party for which we were treated to the most delicious, efficiently and pleasantly served three course meal. Vegetarian option was truly amazingly delicious and creative. The following morning breakfast was great - excellent choices and once more brilliant service. At the Reception desk, the delightful Salvatore was the face of the place - lovely man with nothing being too much trouble. We want to go back to this hotel as we had such a lovely time. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the room spotless with equally immaculate ensuite bathroom. Lovely.

Absolutely fantastic food and service as always. Mario and the team always make it a great day. Best tiramisu in the uk. Amazing choice of wines, chosen by Mario and the new decor looks great.

We were actually here for a wedding and of course the hotel provided the catering. All I can say is wow. Everything was cooked and served to perfection. .

A little gem. Fine dining experience, good food and attentive service. Having a drink in the lounge and getting our food orders taken whilst sipping on cocktails was a lovely touch.

The choice isn't great here but what I had was really good quality and to be fair, they offered to make me something not on the menu of I couldn't decide. Service was great by the three guys there. I stayed at the hotel here which is very basic but does the trick and is really good value. If you're trying to find it, change the post codes last digit to an E or your sat nav is likely to direct you to the middle of the motorway.

I spent 2 nights in the Manor Parc Hotel, and ate in the restaurant each evening and morning. The food was terrific and the atmosphere made me feel like royalty. Mario is a phenomenal host and I can't believe the cost of the room...I've stayed in hotels costing 50% more than this that have made me feel far less welcome.

What a truly beautiful stay. This place is beautiful. The reception staff were so welcoming and supportive and were ready to assist us any way possibleThe room was very spacious warm and decorated superbly. Warm sparkling clean and every single amenity you could want We would have stayed longer had we not been on a tight schedule. The grounds are amazing and so peaceful. Definitely a place to visit coupled with very good value for money

Do not have a bad word to say,Had our wedding here, they helped so much with the run up of the wedding always reassuring us and nothing was to much bother, the day went better than we could have ever imagined and our guests did not stop complimenting the staff and food (there was so much we all struggled to finish).We stayed for the weekend and our family and ourselves were made to feel at home and so welcome. The staff were/are amazing so we decided to go back for our 1st wedding anniversary, my husband had arranged to drop off some gifts for myself which they then put in our room and beautifully arranged for my arrival, it was so special, we have decided we are going back every year as we can't get enough.Highly recommend this place.

I was disappointed. It mirrored a review I read from last year. The room was lovely food tasted really good BUT my guests mentioned there was not enough food per person even before half of them arrived. Scones and welsh cakes very nice. Sandwiches tasty but could have been finer rather than chunky bread, and as I said more of them ready for the guests to arrive. 2 plates of sandwiches are not enough. I was one of the first and the table looked bare. The waiters were polite but not very friendly or communicative a bit miserable I know it was a wake but my advice would be to be chatty and smile. Say have you finished with your cup or would you like to keep it for a another one, instead of whisking it away without engaging. The bare tables with no tea cups or food left did make us all feel rushed out. It was a shame. When booking be clear on how many sandwiches, chicken, sausage rolls etc you would like per person. And staff please cheer up. We've lost a loved one but we want to celebrate their life. We did mention it at the time but I really didn't want an argument after a day of emotion and we were accommodated with ever so slightly more. As I said disappointed where it could have been excellent.

We were invited to a Sunday lunch to celebrate our friends' 50th wedding anniversary in March, and had a lovely meal - being a party of 20 we were seated at a long table near the windows overlooking the garden. We shared the dining room with other groups, so there was a nice atmosphere, although this meant that the service was a little slower as more tables became occupied. The staff seemed a little rushed at times, particularly when they were serving the vegetables with our main course, but all the food came out lovely and hot. Good selection of choices on the set menu - would happily recommend!

My husband and I booked our wedding here last year. As soon as we saw the hotel we were in love; it is decorated beautifully and the Orangerie (which was the room we hired) is very bright and has a lovely patio area outside. The rooms are also decorated very elegantly, with the Cromwell Suite in particular being very spacious and comfortable. Whilst the hotel is very traditional and 17th-century (or thereabouts), the bathrooms were very modern, and looked stunning (as did everything else). Although the hotel itself is breathtaking, it was the staff that really sold the venue to us. Vicky who showed us around was so polite, friendly and warm that we felt very at ease and were confident that the hotel was run very professionally. We later met the new owner, Mario, who was just as professional and friendly, and who also has a good sense of humour. Mario has been absolutely fantastic to us over the last year, and made our wedding day perfect. He was so accommodating of everything that we wanted and really went out of his way to make our experience of the hotel the best it possibly could be. For instance, the night before the wedding we were chatting and I told him that one of the tiers of our cake was a nutella flavour. The next morning when he brought the breakfast to our room, he put a few pots of nutella on the side because he knew I liked it! It was these personal touches that made us feel so welcome at the hotel and allowed us to enjoy our wedding as much as possible. The staff made us feel completely safe in the hotel, and so we left our room unlocked even though we had our bags and things in there. The other members of staff were also very friendly and helped the day to run smoothly, along with Mario of course who organised everything throughout the day. The food was absolutely amazing, and all of the guests raved about it. We had minestrone soup to start, then a beef dinner with vegetables, followed by the fudge and chocolate chip cheesecake. For our vegetarian option, we had the Tenerelli al forno which was also delicious. In the night we had a vegetarian and chicken curry with rice, chips and samosas, which was amazing, and the staff dished out as much as you could possibly eat! The food was so nice that my husband and I are already planning to return to the hotel next week for Sunday lunch! It was genuinely one of the best meals I have ever had, and I know that our guests felt exactly the same. The DJ Darren was also very professional and friendly, and played exactly the kind of music that we wanted; making sure he took requests from our guests as well. I really can't express how perfect our wedding was thanks to the whole of Manor Parc, and I'm so glad that we chose to celebrate our special day there. I would 100% recommend it to anyone and will definitely be a regular visitor!

From start to finish nothing was to much trouble . The Sunday mothers day lunch was amazing,can't wait to return. Thanx for making our day so special ☺
