Always a great place to eat although we miss Iolo

First visit today, walked into a power cut( completely out of their control )...pleased to stay we hung on for 10 minutes.. first class Welsh breakfast X2..quality ingredients..super friendly..well done guys..hope the weather improves..we ll be back...great job and thanks...😊👍

Normally best ice cream in the area. Selection was limited so many flavours advertised but not available.Then poor service long queue only one serving,not helpful. Shame gone downhill.

Moved to north wales and this is the best chippy by far. Great menu. Really busy all the time. Simply the best!!! Delicious 😋

I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough! The food was amazing quality and the service was fabulous! All staff were friendly and efficient throughout the evening! We cannot wait to travel and stay here again!

Looked forward to dropping here due to the reviews. Very disappointed when we arrived that it’s only take out Monday- Friday, cafe not open nor any toilets. The take out section was clean but a simple coffee machine to use. The perk was the free parking & pasty in the vending machine

Very nice pub in very nice village in snowdonia. Beautiful nature around, river and mountains. Very fresh and tasty food, nice drinks. Nice and friendly staff. Highly recommend

They do an excellent full English breakfast, and a good cup of tea too.

In Wales the clocks are different. This is something to keep in mind, as the standards common in Germany do not apply here. There are cables lying open, the windows sometimes rattle, the stairs are steep and narrow. If you keep all of that in mind, you'll get along absolutely great with the Golden Fleece Inn. The rooms are small but tidy. The facility is functional. My bathroom was extremely modern, with a spacious shower and a "waterfall faucet". The heating works well, but is switched off during the day. The restaurant is absolutely brilliant. Everything freshly prepared, extremely delicate. Simply phenomenal! The staff is friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Breakfast is not a buffet, but there is enough. Attention: It is only included in the price if you book directly with them. Otherwise it will be charged extra, but at fair prices. You only pay for coffee, juice or tea once and then get as much as you like. A good choice if you want to spend a few days in the area in Wales.

A spectacular hotel. We feel lucky to have had the opportunity to have stayed here. Rooms were spotlessly clean, the bathrooms were fantastic (had a lovely long soak in the roll top baths). Boutique hotels try to recreate these features, this hotel has them for real. The staff were so polite, professional and helpful, showing us to the outside swimming lake and sauna.
