The best restaurants in Abermaw Gwynedd North Wales

We are not vegan or indeed vegetarian but would rate the food in this restaurant as the very best we have every experienced. The food is of an outstanding quality, intricate, delicate and put together with love. I cannot praise the food highly enough. The manager is attentive, informed and great fun. We love this restaurant. I can't believe they can put together such a meal at this price.

Stopped here for a cream tea, lovely patio to sit on, dogs allowed. Enjoyed a cherry scone with Jam and cream, friendly owners.

A charming little place run by James & Joseph, hope I got that right 🤔 It was interesting to listen to James telling their family story of how this small business came about, you always wonder don't you. It's spotlessly clean, & run very efficiently, with real tasty food, & at great prices. I've walked past this place many times, but not anymore. I'm coming back for you!

A good place to stop and recharge on a walk. There is an extensive menu but if you want chips, look elsewhere as they are not available here!

Excellent menu, great friendly service and an intimate atmosphere. A great restaurant for groups and couples. This food is of a very high standard.

This is such a great spot to grab a quick coffee whilst walking along the prom and soaking up the view. I managed to resist the cakes but they look awesome!

We had a 3 course valentines meal. Every course was fantastic and to die for. Service was also excellent. We chose The Bank as others had recommended and we had never been so I'm so glad we chose to go there and will certainly be back.

Always visit here when in Barmouth. This is probably the best coffee in town. The berry smoothie is also recommended. The only food we have had has been a toasted tea cake but looking at the menu on the wall, I would say that the drinks and food are very well priced.

11 people and 2 dogs thoroughly enjoyed a Sunday roast at the restaurant on 10th November. The Welsh cake bread and butter pudding was delicious. Would definitely go there again

Stayed here not long ago with my girlfriend, lovely location with lovely views, however it's hard to walk to the beach from the hut so we ended up driving to the town a lot of the time. The service was excellent, we had trouble with the shower/ sink drainage, the owners came right over and fixed it as soon as we let them know. Only downside was the fact that the floors were quite dirty during our stay.

An absolutely brilliant hotel. Stayed here several times in the past 5 months while working in the local area, and was always made to feel so at home. The rooms are spotlessly clean, very comfortable and have everything you’d need. The breakfast is lovely - and the staff couldn’t be more kind, accommodating and friendly. Beautiful place, I loved my time there.

Brilliant 👍 fabulous real ales 🍺 Cider and gin and a terrific choice of drinks too take away. The pork pie platter is delicious 😋 👌.

The chips here were amazing!! So nice and crispy and quickly devoured on a chilly Saturday afternoon watching the sea. Bit of a queue but honestly shows you how popular it is and it was worth the few minutes we had to wait. highly recommend and will be returning

This is a good, traditional dog friendly pub. Nice location and great for sport
