This place is so amazing they do such yummy food and the welsh donuts are so yummy your want more I can promise you that's for sure

Good pub grub and lovely selection of beers ate there once and food was fine, very friendly pub like all of Barmouth

Had a few ive creams from here. Great selection and teally tasty. The sweets & fudge in the shop looked incredible too although I didn’t actually buy any

Absolutely gorgeous food, fast service and the pizza was the best we have ever had. Seriously. You should definitely think about coming here for lunch or dinner, it closes a bit earlier out of season so we decided on lunch. I wouldn't say this is a romantic place but the food really is what you are here for.

As I wasn't asked whilst in the premise... Whilst standing at bar to acknowledge my reservation people came in after and shouted that they wanted a table...waiting staff then sorted them out first. Given a poor standard table....in that it was too small for two plates and two glasses. Table also wasn't level....solution by the premise was to hand my partner a number of beer mats to sort out herself. Reputation from locals isn't good, nevertheless I ventured in so as to see for myself. Very disappointed. Will never visit this business again.

Looks better from the outside. A bit unprepossessing on the inside. No need to book though. Nice moules frites. Depressingly they didn't know where the mussels were from- they are cultivated in the Menai trait and the Conwy estuary, but these could have been from anywhere. Never mind. Good and cheap and a nice bottle of inexpensive Rueda.

Loved this place, it was quiet as its March and weather not brilliant, had the best creamy vegetable soup, it was a really good portion and absolutely delicious 😋, loved the atmosphere, very relaxing and really quirky, will go again when we visit, service was excellent as well.

Great little fish shop. The option to sit in was greatly appreciated on a cold and wet, February afternoon. The gentleman taking the orders was incredibly friendly and helpful. I have to avoid certain ingredients due to my daughter's intolerances, but nothing was too much bother for him. When he realised I couldn't have the battered or breaded fish he made up a rice flour one for me. Exceptional service and all of us really enjoyed our food. If we're ever in Barmouth again we will be back.

We were trying to find our hotel and after staying outside of the cafe for 20 seconds the owner came out and started shouting that we must leave if we're not buying anything. Really rude and didn't want to help us even though the hotel is in the same post code...

We had an evening meal here after the Hurly Burly in September. The meal was lovely for both of us, while the location and the staff were excellent. Recommended, so don't let the few negative reviews put you off.

Booked 2 nights 27th and28th of December the placed looked shut when we pulled on the car park. However we were met and was allowed to get into our room early. On entering the room it was like walking into a fridge!! But we gave the benefit of the doubt that we we were early. It got to 3.30 and still no heating on we went to reception we had been a couple of times before but the shutters were down and there wasn’t anybody around!! So when we found someone we were told it would come on at 4 it never did !! So at 5.30 we went down again and explained it hadn’t come on the on !! A man appeared asked the girl the room number no interaction with us !! When we went back to our room we found a storage heater outside again no communication!! We were both feeling unwell with the start of a cold /flu and a cold uninvitng room only accerated these symptoms so we checked out next morning.so disappointed we have and members of our family have stayed many times here such a lovely position and great for the dog will think twice again!!!

A lovely quaint tea room that has a good selection of home made food on the menu, very friendly service and the best giant scones you can find!

Great location, plenty of tables. Food was really nice, a little bit of a wait but to be expected during peak summer. Generous portion sizes, good selection of food and drink. Plus ice cream. Friendly staff and very clean.
