Just back from a 2night stay at this B&B. We booked as we knew the hotel and location etc and it managed to take our group that was here for a Birthday celebration. On check in we were advised of no food available on the Saturday, what I'd really like to have been told is that there was no heating or hot water available... All our rooms were cold and the only time we got heating was when we asked for portable heaters. 3 of the rooms had leaks in from the rain during the storm, the dining room flooded too. We ordered breakfasts and at £10.50 you expect something decent. I got given sausages that were off and told I could only have bacon. Today, I only wanted toast.....got charged £10.50 for a slice of toast as we were told it constitutes a breakfast. We were a large group and some people were coming to breakfast at different times, we were being rushed for everyone to arrive between 0830 & 0900am. When we were checking out all 6 rooms bils were wrong. We'd been double charged costs of rooms, charged double for breakfasts so always check your bill. I wouldn't stay here again, the hotel needs a revamp and some retraining taking place on customer service. It's a shame because it has lots of potential and locals have noticed the change and decline in the B&B and it's standards.

Breakfast was good, bar was small and prices ok when you could get served.

Lovely hotel, good food, our room was very comfortable. Busy bar, dog friendly. Only draw back for us is people standing around the bar area with dogs. Not alot room. Much better if dogs are kept away from the bar .

Unfriendly staff, wasn't welcoming at all.

Our second and I am afraid last visit. We checked in at approximately 4pm only to be told they were not serving meals that evening. When we asked if there were any takeaways that we could order food to be delivered we were told no one delivers locally! After a long drive we just wanted to relax and have a meal at the hotel but we resorted to walking into town to get fish and chips. Next morning (Friday) we were up looking forward to breakfast, we went down at 8am only to be told "kitchen opens at 8.30". To cut a long story short we returned at lunch time only to be told "we are not doing food at lunch times!! Friday evening we were lucky enough to get a meal at the hotel which I could not fault. It would have been nice to have been notified of restricted kitchen opening times prior to arrival or at least leaving leaving some sort of info in the rooms as a last resort. Unlike our first visit I regret to say customer service at this hotel was sorely lacking.

Superb location, overlooking Barmouth beach. Drinks very well priced

Lovely and friendly place to stay. A little dated but very clean and comfortable.

Lovely pub/hotel just off the promenade. Great views while we sat and had our drinks. Didn't stop here just stopped off for a drink during our evening walk.

Some of the staff could be a bit more polite

I came here for food and drink. Both mine and my partner's food was first class and I highly recommend this place to anyone. Decent pint and fantastic views of the sea from the beer garden.

Lovely pub/hotel but beer a little expensive

Been going 20 years and only just found this place.really friendly across the road from beach. Definitely going to visit again

I love this hotel stayed in it ever since i was young and the rooms are amazing paired with breakfast and lunch. It’s a lovely atmosphere with kids playing on the park and parents laughing and drinking the staff are lovely i would recommend this place x

Room was unclean, shower isolator switch hanging off the wall with exposed wires. Food was good and staff are pleasant. Great location to the beach and town. Some of the rooms are over priced, we paid the same price for a double room on the side of the hotel as someone in the larger family room overlooking the beach on the front.

Brilliant location. Pity about the bar staff who were very ignorant. No please nor thank you. Just said the price. Held out her hand. She gave me the change and again no manners. Note that I said please and thank you.

Min Y Mor is a fabulous hotel, situated yards from the beach and sea, good rooms, amazing food, friendly welcoming staff.
