The best restaurants in Flintshire North Wales

When you order a ‘Chocolate and salted caramel fondue sharing platter’ as a desert, you expect fondue do you not? Maybe it’s just me but what I don’t expect is a pot of chocolate ice cream sauce and a pot of strawberry ice cream sauce? This is not FONDUE. Nor is it salted caramel for that matter of fact. We were extremely disappointed having paid £12.49 to receive such a lame version of what looked a scrumptious picture on the menu. Rest of the food we had was ok to be fair, nothing to shout about but what you’d expect, but this was such a let down that I have no choice but to mark you right down.

Limp , under cooked fries , burger had a funny taste and the coffee was appalling - don’t often frequent McDonalds and this reaffirmed why !

Came here for lunch after a lovely time at the beach. Very poor menu choices, absolutely no vegetarian options which is a real oversight. Had the fish burger and it was very average and expensive for what it was. I asked for ketchup and the waitress said it would be an extra 40p, which for a pub seems unfair and a bit cheap on their part. Just offer bottles for the table. The Astro turf garden outside was tacky and sad, and overall I wouldn’t recommend this place. Sad because it’s prime location. It should offer a nice range of sandwiches at a better price point and it could be on to a winner.

Lovely place to sit and work from, lovely staff, they were approachable and happy. They delivered high levels of service and asked if everthing was great, fast service and respectful of specific orders. One happy customer who would return. Cons: Not able to provide tips :( this needs to change!

Stopped to use the toilets so can't comment on food or drink. Two weeks earlier I had asked staff if they had a cleaner as toilets are always filthy & walls covered in dust with cobwebs in almost every corner. Was told serving staff have to do the cleaning & that it's done first thing & last thing (which in itself is a bit daft as why clean first thing when it was done before closing the previous day?) On calling in this time it was exactly the same, with the same massive cobweb stretching across the walls over the sink recess that had been there two weeks ago! Toilets themselves were in the same disgusting state. I didn't bother to complain this time as it's obvious that the staff either don't have time to be cleaners as well as servers or that they do, but just don't bother apart from re-stocking the toilet rolls.

I go regularly to this Starbucks and there is a worker who is rude and pulls dirty looks at me whenever I go in, drink is never made to a good standard when that worker makes it , never a good service when I go and get served by this worker. The other staff are very kind and polite and my drink is made amazing by them.

As an Asian person, the pho was absolutely tasteless, and that wasn’t even a “pho noodle” and I can't get it why would you ever put the frozen carrot and peas in this dish?the soup was just plain water and the beef wasn't seasoned at all… the worse pho I have ever tried, I wish I had read the review sooner. Please don't use pho as ur brand name if you don't even know how to make one or never tried it before.

¿Por dónde empiezo? Desde la tierra a la baldosas rotas en las esquinas de la jounts. Una cálida bienvenida no te pierdas lo que ha desviado la atención de mayo los horrores que presencié. Me pusieron después de pedir cuando el "chef" colocó una hamburguesa patty a la parrilla de carbón y sin limpiar que él colocó el pollo brochetas en el mismo lugar. Puedo tener un orden lado de contaminación cruzada para ir, por favor? Si eso no era tan malo el pan estilo nan fue luego colocado en la parrilla! El "chef" no estaba entre sus manos y este hecho carne para mí, el hecho de que enfermos en su brazo de la nariz puede mercancías transportadas en los cationes facepalm cocinar me hizo mi propia. La comida. La hamburguesa era tan seca que deberían de apodada el Sahara hamburguesa. A sólo 30 segundos de tener su propio enviar en el crematorio local. El Ketchup que pusieron en él tenía un ácido muy alto y sabía más de vinagre que mermaría incluso el más fuerte de los estómagos. La pelea parecía cayera como recoger lo que significa que estas no fueron almacenados a la derecha y a la izquierda el aire era para llegar a la pelea por horas. El pollo de carbón quemado kabab sabía que indica el metal no habían limpiado correctamente. Como poco en uno de los trozos de pollo una gran vena era parte en la boca y parte en mi trozo de pollo. No estaba seguro de si para realizar cirugía o pedir un vet. Un cartel de pollo, lo siento por la gente a pagar una buena cantidad de dinero para la comida. El exterior podía ser más acogedor y limpio. Aparcamiento muy limitado que puede ir por el co-op o en su aparcamiento si ocupado. Me examinará de nuevo en 6 meses.

Queue out the door, Staff not very interested in serving customers. Every time they served someone they walked out the back for a few minutes. £4.99for a portion of chips. £3.49 for a SAUSAGE lol. Definitely wouldn't recommend and most definitely won't be back.

Friendly Flint pub with great service.

We went through the drive through to order the meal but had to wait in the carpark for the meal to be delivered. The Big Mack’s and Fries received were cold and tasteless, and The Fries had been warmed up. We will not be visiting again.

Worst Chinese I’ve ever eaten and shocking customer service, do not come here!! There are much better ones 2 minutes up the road

Contradictory to other reviews, my experience was very good, the food was fantastic, very large cafe with lots of seating and the inside was very new and modern. First time we have seen a Tesco Cafe with the order screens. Food is decently priced, table service is ideal.

One of 9 cars parked waiting for their food. McDonald's need to remove the censor that measures service time. This restaurant like others constantly cheats the system....if you like waiting 15-20 mins for "fast food" come here. The same every single time!

We have been coming to Broughton Asda for many years and when Xmas shopping we always stop there for lunch. This year however, Friday 30th Nov, it was awful. We were there before 1pm. Festive items were advertised on the counter,but when we tried to order two out of the three options we were told they were not and had not been available as they didn't have the stock. We asked for toasties, but they were not available either. We ended up with three wraps, at £4.95:each, and 2 portions of chips which were over £2 each. When served the wraps were tiny and the chips were too hard to eat. I complained and actually felt sorry the poor lady in the kitchen. We kept the wraps but the chips were inedible. She offered us 2 mince pies which I accepted. (These were Asda's own boxed mince pies which they were selling at £2.59 each!!! I felt well and truly ripped off and had we not been hungry and with a trolley load of shopping to pay for, Iwould have gone elsewhere. In fact, the food was so awful, I really wish we had visited another cafe in the complex, were we would have got decent food for around the same price . This was one of our favourite stores in Broughton, but not any more. I know the cafe is a franchise but Asda, this needs sort ing out!!
