China Garden in Flintshire

I ordered crispy prawn won tons. It was just the outside casing - absolutely no filling. Main meal of green pepper and chicken in black bean sauce was nice but lacked the expected amount of Chicken. Crispy seaweed was also nice but not a full portion. Would I order again probably not. Shame really.

Ordered on just eat... arrived on time but ribs were cold Sweet & sour sauce tasted like sweet vinegar... vile Noodles arrived half in wrapped paper as box was squashed and part of order was missing. Definitely will never order from China Garden again as our meal was DISGUSTING 😡😠

Ordered for delivery….then got a message 30 minutes later saying it was ready for collection! Had to phone the restaurant and say it was delivery! Then waited a further 25mins and the food was cold

Don't understand the bad reviews food always fresh and piping hot on arrival, even offer sides with mains which most don't do anymore :) the bbq spare ribs, chicken balls, large spring rolls are always a must

Lovely chow mein bit the salt & pepper chips were just chips with peppers thown on last min. Spring rolls more battwr than anything. Would order the chow mein again

the food was really fresh and great. the chicken balls are always amazing. one of the few chinese takeouts that offer rice with the main in buckley. I don't see why it has such bad reviews, amazing value. but the delivery driver was a little rude. told me It was a big order and too much but it was for 7 people. 🥲 Starters n 3 mains n a munchy box. I apologise if it was too much but it was a bit embarrassing

The meat was awful in both dishes blown up tasteless. The chicken wings and ribs were well over done, there was no filimg to the spring rolls, the prawn toast was greasy. The chips were cold , the rice just didnt taste nice . The meat roll was burnt

Satay sauce was very runny and not satay flavoured. Chicken nuggets were very poor quality and dry. Everything else was ok.

there was no salt and vinegar which I asked for a lot of. I asked for the Sausages to be in with one of the meals but they were put seperate and I wish I hadn't bothered ordering them because they tasted awful. I ordered fried rice chips and gravy and it was very dry hardly any gravy at all. Will not be ordering from here again

The hot and sour soup had fish products in and this was not stated on the description for the contents or allergens. The food arrived cold and squished, all of the boxes opened as if they have been sat on. Very disappointed

chicken satay was disgusting, chicken wasn't real chicken, like sloppy substance covered in slime, satay sauce was totally tasteless. salt and pepper chips weren't at all flavoursome. satay chicken skewers were nice. rubbish quality

Food was horrid , ordered prawn won tons nothing in them just flat batter went in bin , crispy duck full of slimy fatty shredded slime no meat also went In bin , trying to claim a refund £33 wasted chowmain was ok according to my fella

First time ordering. Food was okay but really great staff and very accommodating. delivered in time. Food was hot and freshly prepared but flavours weren’t for me. But still a good experience. Next time I order I would probably just try something else on the menu.

Chicken tasted like over cooked prawns, no flavour in the curry and fried rice was boring the worse was the salt and chilli chips how you calling them salt and chilli when all that was on them was onion and carrot?? I want a full refund please

Ordered the salt & pepper box was one of the worst take aways I've ever had used to be really nice but the ribs and chips were so dry we didn't eat half of it. Won't order from there again. Left a poor review through Just Eat and didn't even reach out about an awful review so obviously don't care

Everything seemed really dry like it was either over cooked or had been left sat for a long period of time especially the ribs. It was one of the worst take aways I have ever had, the food quality is so much poorer than last time we had food from China Garden. I don't think we would ever order from the restaurant again.

Delicious and piping hot food as usual, we will always order Chinese from China Garden.

Decent Chinese food, good value for money and a good portion size. Quality could be a touch higher but it'll do for an affordable takeaway when you don't want to cook.

Iceland food disguised as takeaway. Jelly curry sauce. Drier than the Sahara. Do not order and save yourself and time the money.

I ordered chicken and sweetcorn soup . Wasn’t bad . 1/4 duck . Was tasteless. Cucumber and onions dry . Lots of fat in the duck . Wasn’t crispy . Shredded chicken with chilli sauce . Again tasteless . Won’t be ordering from here EVER again .

I wouldn't go ner this place,with a barg pole, I had beef fried rice with curry separately, the next day I had a bad stomach with dioreha, I went the toilet 4 times in a row, had to take tablets. Somthing ain't right with this takeaway, I simply don't trust the food there serving. And by the looks of it all the bad reviews says alot about this place.

Thought I'd go off piste and try something different to the curry. Had the Kung Po Pork, delicious. Will definitely be ordering again.

Delivery was quick but food was mainly cold. Chips tasted like they had been reheated and both rice dishes were cold. Sauce was also like jelly.

chickem chow mein was spot on, as usual.. chicken balls were tasty and sauce was hot, chips were dry and warmed up tho. hopefully that's sorted next time as I order frequently

great food full of flavours and value for money

Called up before ordering to see if the food came with prawn crackers or I’ll order them. They confirmed they do, however we’re not delivered. I then called to ask if they could be brought back, the women on the phone said she is certain she packed them and basically called me a liar. I then asked if they were left in the drivers car to bring them back, she said no. I told them it was poor customer service, and that I wouldn’t order again if they didn’t bring them back as it’s just unacceptable and they offered no solution, did not seem bothered in the slightest. A poor amount of curry sauce, chips like cardboard and food was barely warm. Would never bother again!!!!

They called me to ask if they could deliver early which i said yes , then when it came it was cold and didnt taste good at all , paid £23 for the privelage , will NEVER use again.

5 stars for service because food was ordered at 7:45pm and it was delivered at 7:57pm......now please tell me how it was cooked and delivered in 12 minutes!

Terrible! The food box was wet and appeared to have been microwaved the food was like rubber. The chips were a mix of what looked like at tasted like 2 day old chips and everything was inedible Waste of money!

Order arrived quickly on delivery. Sadly, all the food I ordered was extremely greasy. I actually threw the food away, something I never usually do.

This was quite simply the most inedible meal I have ever ordered in my whole life. Both meals were so oily (saturated in oil) they went straight in the bin after the first couple of mouthfuls. Total waste of money which we haven't got much of. This was supposed to be a treat. Hoping for a refund. If not the stars on the service will be marked down.

Chips were undercooked & cold, the salt and pepper chicken was so dry it felt like it had been sat there for 24 hours and chucked in a microwave, the salt and pepper chips we ordered were just normal chips with no seasoning & 1 single carrot strip on top of it.

Lovely food, although the beef in the curry was a bit chewy tonight.

Over an hour late, still not here. Phoned up to check why it has said delivered on Just Eat App, they said it’s with the driver. That was 30 Minutes ago. How is the food staying warm? Last time we gave this place a chance, similar situation and food was cold. Won’t be giving it another chance.

Cold food, burnt rice, chicken had pieces of bone in, duck spring rolls had no duck noodles extremely greasy and tasteless. Very disappointed.

Food was awful, chips tasted like microwaved 3 days old chips, not even eatable. Duck was a mess full of fat and tiny bones. Such a disappointment and waste of money 😞

Overall it was ok. Estimated delivery time of between 1 hour and 1hour 20. Arrived a few minutes after the later time. Advise others to order well ahead of time. The new plastic free containers are awful. Some food fell out when lifting the containers from the bag. There was grease over the outside of the containers. Mostly the chow Mein dishes were affected. These single use containers are not recyclable after use due to the oil contamination. Suggest change of packaging supplier, as thete

Food was stone cold when it came chicken balls had been fried to an inch of their life rock solid. Sauces were like jelly, chips soggy. There was a small bone on the shredded duck, wouldn’t have complained if food was up to standard after waiting nearly 2 hours for it to come. Driver was delivering the food for 35 minutes from when I had the motivation off just eat to say driver on their way, rang the restraunt the women was polite and helpful but this is ridiculous when we live 10 minutes away,

The Special Fried Rice was Certainly Not Special, A few peices of Chcken , 2 small scrimps and not much more of anything else Yet I paid nearly £7 for this !...Not Good Enough!
