The best restaurants in Flintshire North Wales

Went here planning to have the set meal but chose to eat off the menu instead. It's nice and spacious inside. Food was served in good time and it was tasty. Portion sizes were just right and the service was everything we expected.

We stayed for 2 nights. One of the best places we have ever been to. We had an evening meal both nights which were both excellent. The bedroom was spacious and the bathroom well equipped with toiletries. Good car parking facilities and very friendly staff. I would definitely recommend. We will be returning.

Takeaway from here last night. Black hairs in the curries!! I was going to bin but took photos and have kept to contact health and safety.

Had the best experience today. We went for my sister's birthday. And received the best customer service off Tommy. Would definitely recommend. Shame he cant commute to Manchester for work id defo employ him. 🤘😁

Ate here today & as usual it was delicious. Friendly staff & the food was fresh, hot & very well presented.

All about the people - so welcoming and friendly- made a few hours doing admin, out of the rain, as pleasant as it could be.

No phones, no TV, no swearing , cheap beer. It's great for when you want to go for a pint with your mates and actually have a conversation without having to shout to be heard. Beer supplied by Samuel Smith brewery, cheap pint and good quality, but if you're looking for the usual Stella or carlsberg then you won't find it here.

Super slow delivery. Avoid ordering food here as your order will arrive late. Everything fell far below what was expected especially as the burger arrive soggy and cold and the fries were also cold and over cooked. Take my advice and order elsewhere.

Sadly, Chatwins closed down on 21st October. Holywell is fast becoming a ghost town.

Excellent greek night on Friday 25th Oct food was good but kebab lacked flavour,it needed spicing up,the rest of the food was great,cocktails were excellent staff very good,knives need sharpening or replacement though ASAP would definitely go back

Came to grab a quick coffee after walking our dog, was told at 11.26 thy dnt open until 11.30 even though a lad had just walked out with a pint in his hand. He then told us if we want hot drinks to go round the corner to the hut as they dont do them Not friendly, obviously didnt want our custom, will not visit again

Another meal that was delicious and the portion size was very generous more than happy with our meal we will not be going anywhere else

Great little cozy comfortable pub, very good service, and nice food.

Popped in for a quick bite to eat as I was passing! Staff were welcoming and polite, ordered food which was onion rings and southern fried chicken topped chips and it was all bloody lovely and came out piping hot ! Restaurant area was nice and clean and had a nice atmosphere despite being quiet. This pub and restaurant really needs trying and I will definitely be going back to try more main meals off the menu! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me 🙂
