We ordered the set meal but it was nearly two hours before we received it and when it arrived some of it was lukewarm the chips was inedible and poppidoms was soft The korai I had asked for it to be a bit spicier but it was hotter than a madras Most of meal went into the bin We have ordered from here for many years and never had any reason to complain Very very disappointed and hoping it was a one off .

This is my go to Indian but today the food was really bad. It curry was very greasy, the meat was tough and for some reason the mixed starters were all a beige colour and not nice at all. Very disapponting

Curry was a little bit too oily. A little less oil and a bit more spice and it would of been perfect. Everything else was absolutely spot on and delivery was nice and quick too.

The food was late last night and I had to phone up to find out where it was . It was due between 8.15-8.35 but didn’t get it until just after 9pm which isn’t great. The food is generally good but there’s lots of onions in the balti a little less would be better . The poppadoms were wet because of the rain and therefore tasted a little stale . So was disappointed

Poor quality indian takeaway. Ive had better ready meals. Honestly tasteless, use the same flavourless base in much of the dishes. really really oily meals, came with layer on top.

Amazing food, best indian food ever

I know it is New Year, but still. We place our order at 4.40pm for delivery at 7pm. I rang at 7.30 got advised that it would be 10min again delayed. I was just rung up by the delivery driver to come outside. Went to dish up and a dish was missing called you again and it will be with you soon 30min later it arrive. This is the second within a month that this has happened. This has never happened in the 15 years I have ordered from you. Sorry you have lost a valuable customer ☹️

We always get our food from here as it is usually 5* Tonight however the food was bland, cold and greasy. Not good at all.

Visited in my own for a mid week treat. A couple of families in but generally quiet. Lots of take aways going out though. Very warm welcome to the restaurant which was warm and comfortable The food was delicious and made to the required heat spice. The four course early menu was well worth the money. So much food I took some home with me. Would definitely visit again

The food we received was nice apart from the poppadoms as they were stale, the delivery time said between 7:45-8:05 but didn’t come until 25 past and we didn’t receive the rice we ordered.

Food never turned up (although the app says ‘enjoy your food’) and now they’ve taken their phone off the hook, so they don’t even have the decency to say what has happened. Utter incompetence and shockingly dreadful experience. Avoid at all costs. Disgraceful.

My tikka Balti tasted off as soon as I opened the container. Chicken smelt like it had gone bad and it was full of tough tomato skins. The poppadom was soft enough to bend and the spring rolls were tiny frozen ones can get from Iceland. Not worth the price as a starter. My partners chips were very cold so had to microwave them. Spent £27 and most of that went in the bin. Very disappointed

Went for our friends boys 21st birthday there was 30 of us and what a fab night ! Food was amazing prompt service although I do wonder how they managed it with so many all at once ! Staff so friendly , prices very reasonable ! Would definatly recommend to anyone !

Food was piping hot considering it was from Connahs Quay and we are in Bagillt. Food was absolutely stunning.

Gave them 2 hours notice (ordered two hours before it was to be delivered)... still failed to deliver on time !!! ... rang up after it was 20 mins late only to be told it would be another 15- 20 mins ... App says its out for delivery, so I guess it will be cold by the time it gets here .... NOT GOOD Cant rate the food as yet as we have not got it !!! ... so I am going to rate it 3 out of 5 just so I can press submit ... It may be worse ... it may be better ... who knows ... but based on the delivery I am reserving judgment at this point in time If you cannot deliver on time ... don't accept too many orders, and let people down ... simples to say your busy is not and excuse .. you agreed the time .. and confirmed the time .... so being 40 mins late is very poor indeed

We moved to the area 2 years ago and never truly had a great curry.. until now. Plenty of flavour in the milder dishes. Well cooked and sized veg in the balti. Arrived hot. Great amount and quality of protein. Rice had loads of flavour and vibrance. Arrived in good time Easy 5 star review from us well done Zari

Mister Ali and Miah are great hosts and chefs, always a warm welcome. The food is unbeatable in terms of quality and price. There’s a meal deal (check for details) at certain times and days, and with no licenced bar you can take your own alcohol, which helps customers make a saving on eating out. The bar does still offer soft drinks though. The menu is extensive, lots of chefs specials, plenty of variety. The restaurant is often fairly quiet, which is great for me and the people I go with, as I don’t like a school dinners racket tbh, when eating out. The main thing though of course is the food, and the quality is unsurpassable. Always fresh ingredients, top quality meats, and spices. All the breads and rices are very good, and the starters are superb. Highly recommended.

Early friendly delivery. Food of the usual high Zari quality we have come to expect with the singular exception of the cheese garlic bread which was over cooked, solid and inedible. First time I have had this experience with Zari and hopefully a one off.

Food arrived before estimated time & was hot on arrival. We both ordered a chicken tikka masala but both couldn’t eat it as the curry tasted very vinegary and watery. Normally tikka masala is creamy but this tasted awful. Such a shame as the rice, chips & naan bread were fine.

Terrible experience. Waited 30mins in an empty restaurant to be acknowledged and longer to be asked for drinks. All soft drinks were flat and when we asked we were told 'what do you want us to do about it no they're not'. One staff member doing everything and not friendly at all. Depressing environment. Special family meal, should have gone somewhere else!!!
