Great food, excellent service 👌

First time customers at The Harp as were in Abergele. I krdered fish pie of the specials board and the wife had a sandwich and a portion of chips. Wow, the fish pie was the best I have ever had, just sublimine. The wife's freshly made sandwich looked fabulous and she said it was delicious, then the chips, another wow. Proper real home made chips cooked to perfection. I can be fussy with pub and restaurant food, usually due to it being rubbish that is overly expensive and not home cooked. The Harps food was exceptional, so good in fact we booked a table for next weekend as we need to be in Abergele again. Staff were very good, service was very good and the food stolen the show. A very pleasant change.

Beautiful spot. Free entry to this pretty water garden where you can see otters at play and enjoy walks lakeside. If you visit in the spring you will be surrounded by the magnificent colours of rhododendrons that flank the lakes from ground to sky. Enjoy the golden carp in the pond by the famous Dutch Pancake shop whilst taking in some refreshments. A real little jewel in the Conwy valley.

Excellent home made pub food. the JW Lees bitter is well looked after. A good place to go to. Seperate fining room. Good service.

Seems to have deteriorated since last visit in 2023. Food very average as was service.

One of the best scones we’ve ever had!! An amazing little find hidden behind the pink door. My son loved the chocolate cake!! Highly recommend! We were an accidentally overcharged, but this was so swiftly sorted, I can’t even use this as a negative.We’ll be back when we’re next in the area

I had a lovely brekkie here, it was awesome, 2 lovely ladies working here are lots of fun and nothing is too much trouble, since the high street has many places closing down, there is a distinct lack of cafes for a good breakfast, so this is a great place to get what you want, i will be back here when im working or playing in the bay,,,,, thanks . .. ,,

A day out in Llandudno is never complete without lunch at Barnacles Fish and Chips.The food is always freshly cooked. Portions are generous and very tasty, serving staff are pleasant and helpful. A good plaice( pardon the pun) to eat.

Nice clean fish and chip shop , Very modern , Prices are very good I ordered fish , large chips , curry sauce was just over £10 , Fish was cooked to order and service was fast , The tall blonde girl who served me was very professional and had very good customer service she is a shining example of a good member of staff looked very tidy , Would definitely recommend and will be back in the future to try the rest of the menu 5/5

The fish (haddock) was very good. Nice light and crispy batter. Perfect amount of salt and vinegar. Scampi was also very good. Food was fresh but service was quick. Would have liked a few more chips but maybe I'm just greedy....
