Great Sunday dinner, the price is amazing at £10 for a full dinner even for Lamb, best value in the area. Very friendly staff. The homemade puddings were an absolute highlight. Will definitely return.

Had a lovely warm welcome here today. Came with family members who had been before. My brother in law is in a wheelchair and they were so helpful, even helping to manoeuvre the wheelchair through the door and making sure we had an accessible table. Food was good honest meals, very much value for money and piping hot. The staff were friendly and we look forward to returning at some point in the new year!

I didn't stay at the hotel, but, because of the history associated with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I came to eat there while I was visiting in the UK. An annex portion of the hotel was originally built as a chapel by LDS members. My ancestor was from northern Wales and perhaps attended there. The staff was very kind and accommodating, but also respectful to other diners who were already seated by the plaque outlining the history. The food was fabulous. We all enjoyed our meal thoroughly. The service was great. I'm grateful for the chance I had to visit the site. It was a bonus to get such a great meal with courteous and prompt service. Thank you to the Bull Hotel restaurant staff!

I have dined here many times , with friends , work colleagues and family over a number of years. I visited yesterday at 1650pm , asked if we needed to sit in a specific place to be told sit there pointing to a table in the corner , i requested could i sit near the window to be told abruptly "NO" iv got reservations (the restaurant was empty) i was then given menus and told no food will be served until 1730pm again very abruptly , despite the website clearly stating that food on a Saturday is served from midday until 2100pm. Needless to say we had 1 drink each and left. This used to be such a warm and friendly place however i will not be visiting or recommending again. There are nice places around this area to dine , they are not just offering food but a warm welcome and better prices.

Incredible tasty food, large portions, really friendly staff and locals.

We went there with our daughter for lunch at 12.30pm. One bartender who was also the waiter! We didn't have to wait too long for our drinks and meals. The main course was really nice and large portions. There was a long delay after our main course and I had to go to the bar and ask for the dessert menus. We chose 3 different desserts which were on the menu but they didn't have any of these. So we paid the bill and went home! Disappointed. If the desserts we wanted had been available and service had been faster I would have given the Bull five stars. Next time I will ask what desserts they have available before I book!

We’ve eaten 3 times here recently , Sunday lunch is amazing. The staff are really customer focussed. Called in again last night for tea, just really nice good value food , tasty and hot. As it should be, I had the gammon and my wife had the cod (biiig) and chips. Don’t hesitate it’s good.

What a little gem, Host was welcoming & friendly, room was very clean, extremely comfy beds, having access to Netflix was an added bonus. Breakfast was delicious & filling, no need for lunch. We will definitely book to go again. Perfect base for exploring North Wales. Couldn’t of asked for more.

We stopped off here on our way home from Conwy and enjoyed good pub grub. I had the scampi and my wife had fish and chips. The service from the two young females on duty was very efficient and friendly. My scampi was very good and my wife enjoyed her fish and chips. The chips were good quality and the portions were generous. Both meals were £13, which I think is good value these days. Well worth stopping at if you are passing through Abergele.

Stayed here for 2 nights its supposed to be dog friendly but our dog wasn't welcome in the dining area because he barked at the management who clearly doesn't like dogs so we had to have our breakfast in our room the first morning because he asked us to leave .No vegetarian option either so my breakfast was small and the cereal was stale and you don't get much milk and the toast was pale .you don't have a choice of white or brown bread .No fruit or yoghurts available. We didn't have a pleasant stay so we won't be coming again .The first night we got there we had a lovely meal i had fish and chips and my husband had some calaloni pasta which he said was nice probably because we paid separate for it .Meals in the bar and the meals at breakfast were so different.

We are regular visitors to The Bull and always have a great evening there. The atmosphere is good, the food is lovely and the staff are really friendly with a great sense of humour. They are always very welcoming to our dogs, who really enjoy their visit too! Would 100 percent recommend.

Well you won’t be getting any sleep because your room will be lit up luminous green. You get one bath towel between 2 full of holes and the rooms are quite dirty. On the plus breakfast was ok

Absolutely lovely place. Very accommodating of us as a family with our dog. Blown away by the top quality homemade curry and chilli con carne. The kids meals were spot on too, great portions and super tasty. Excellent value for money. Top friendly service from the bar/waiting staff. Highly recommend this establishment to all.

The food was excellent and plentiful very good value for the money, it was a last minute and late booking and not unexpectedly a few items were not available but there was still plenty of choice.

Great price, great room, great bar and great breakfast. We were feeling optimistic before we arrived as it was a last minute booking however it was brilliant from start to finish. Just got back from our third stay here and we absolutely loved it yet again. The rooms are lovely, clean and have everything you need (hairdryer, tea and coffee, toiletries, free WiFi throughout and smart TV with Netflix included). The staff are so friendly and nothing is too much to ask. They go over and above what is expected. Oh and the breakfast is amazing!! Thank you for another lovely stay.

Last minute decision to eat here with friends. No problem with getting a table for six of us. Plenty of choices and all reasonably priced. All of us enjoyed our food and there was plenty of it. Nothing fancy but good pub grub.

So I often come to Abergele with my children and dog, However in the winter months the day gets shorter as its softer cold and wet and it's a 110mile round trip for us but no more, found this hidden gem of a pub, not only do they let dogs in, its warm clean,cosy has an open fire did I say CLEAN and the food is AMAZING and well priced. I love this pub and will be visiting every time we come for the day from now on. Oh and they have fresh coffee no instant rubbish. What a lovely little place. Well done to the staff here they should feel proud of this little gem of a place, and to top it off Great customer service! They also do bed and breakfast and the rooms look lovely also.

Visited today and was disappointed with the menu. Only 3 or 4 veggie choices. Asked the waiter if I could have a baked potato (which were an option With main courses) , explaining that I was vegan. A one word answer of ‘no’ was all I got! Safe to say we finished our drinks and left. Shame as we had high expectations.

An enjoyable return to this town centre pub/restaurant. Lee's Plum Pudding set the tone of the afternoon, gloriously malty and fruity. Meals included a turkey Xmas Dinner, Scampi, Steak and Ale pies and a Mixed Grill too big for an ordinary dining plate. All served with copious amounts of well cooked veggies or salad lovely chips, good sized jacket spuds. Bread & Butter Pudding to finish turned a meal into an orgy: it's a dessert fit to be called a sweet!

We were out for a drive/walk whilst we were on holiday in North Wales and decided upon Abergele for a good stopping point for lunch - such a good choice! It was a cold, windy, showery day and we, having checked Tripadvisor before - settled on the Bull and we were so glad we did. The food was great value, 2 lunches for £12 and the drinks were a good price too. The dog was made welcome and as we settled in we could have easily spent the afternoon there! Have absolutely no complaints, everything was clean and freshly decorated and the food/drink hot and tasty. Thanks!

Stayed here for 1 night on business. £50 for a double bed room (room #2) - clean, tidy, nicely furnished & decorated. Breakfast included in the rate. Car park small, at read of property next to decked beer garden. Food and beer in the bar great too.

This pub was recommended to us so we phoned at 11.58 Sunday 3rd November to ask if it was dog friendly just to make sure . Where told yes and ask when we where thinking of going . I replied later this afternoon if that’s ok , the girl replied yes that’s fine . We arrived there at approximately 2.15 PM to be told there was no room for us . Very poor we traveled from a caravan park to this pub . Thankfully one of there neighbors accommodated us .

We’ve lived in Abergele for 10years and only just been here after a recommendation! Food was lovely. Very disappointed that an elderly gentleman was vaping whilst we was eating! Really wasn’t nice to have puffs of smoke blown at us! Bar man never confronted the customer, he seemed to be a regular Unfortunately this has put us off returning.

Little pub but what a treat. Nice check in shown up to room and bags were offered to be taken. Room were very spacious and modern. Bed very comfy so I had a good nights sleep. Couldn’t hear anything from the bar/restaurant when I was in the room which was a big bonus. Great location for walks on the beach and nice parks nearby too. Nice and dog friendly which was great. The food was brilliant one of the nicest burgers I’ve actually had and the portion sizes weren’t small. Didn’t have time for a sit down breakfast due to work but they happily made up a sausage sandwich for me to take out. 100% would stay/eat again.

Our first visit. A very enjoyable experience for our party of 3.The meals were attractively presented with generous portions and very good value for money. The menu provided a good varied selection of starters and main courses in particular. Our vanilla ice cream to finish the meal actually tasted of vanilla rather than sugar or cream. The beef lamb and chilli mains were all excellent. We look forward to returning soon. The Bull's restaurant section is comfortable and the staff pleasantly efficient to round off a thoroughly pleasant experience.

Went here on recommendation. We sat in the garden on lovely comfortable garden furniture. It was a sunny day so the perfect place to sit and have lunch. The inside was dressed lovely for lunch also . We spent a few hours having a leisurely lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was made to order and piping hot on arrival. The bar man was very attentive and we would visit again. It is also dog friendly which is why we visited.

Da wir im dazugehörigen hotel nächtigen und uns, trotz guter Restaurantaiswshl in der Umgebung, sowohl die Speisekarte als auch die Preise überzeugten, haben wir an beiden Abenden das liebevoll zubereitete und schön dekorierte Abendessen im Bull genossen. Das Fleisch der Burger war hochwertig, die Chips lecker und auch der Cod bei Fish and chips war riesig. Dazu gibt es eine gute Auswahl an Bieren und Wein und auch für die Kinder gab es hinreichend alkoholfreie Getränke. Die Wartezeit auf das Essen war nicht zu lang und das Personal sehr aufmerksam. Allerdings kann eine Reservierung erforderlich sein, da das Lokal sehr gut besucht war.

After stopping at another pub which had stopped serving food the bull hotel was recommended. It was an excellent choice. The only issue was the plate must have come straight from a kiln the heat was unreal. All the food was freshly cooked and tasted as you would expect. Hopefully will be able to remember this place when driving past again.

We ate here on two occasions, staying at the camp site down the road. I have to say my game pie was probably one of the best meals of the holiday. Very tasty & very reasonably priced too. The staff were also top notch, despite at times being very busy. For the ale lovers out there, it is A J.W Lees pub & the beer was also good!

Absolutely superb, plated, Sunday lunch for 2 couples. Piping hot & fresh. Two roast lamb, one turkey & one beef. Followed by a gigantic shared sweet, lovely. Have visited on a number of occasions previously, all was very good, but this, better still. Thank you to all at The Bull.

Whilst staying in Towyn, we came to the Bull Hotel for Sunday Lunch. The roast was very nice. My friend is vegetarian and the options was quite good. They are also dog friendly, so it was great that the dog could come with us.

Went to the bill for a family lunch. Pub was empty, but it was a very wet Tuesday. The pub itself is lovely. Cosy and extremely clean. Good menu, lunch menu available plus a specials menu. We had steak and ale pie and fish and chips. Both were delicious and great chips. Great selection of beers and wines. Staff are great too.

We had lunch here last Sunday. The pub was busy but we were soon seated and served. The pate with Prosecco starter was tasty enough but a bit runny; however, I don't see the point of adding Prosecco. We both had beef for main course (only £6) and this was very nice with an excellent selection of vegetables. Desserts (spotted dick and sticky toffee pudding) were delicious, generous and accompanied by a good amount of custard, often not the case in pubs. The red house wine was very nice and good value at £12.60.

We stayed here whilst visiting family in the local area. The family room was spacious, clean and recently decorated, nice shower. We had a comfortable two nights here. We had dinner in the pub on both evenings, good pub food, great value. The bread and butter pudding was very nice! If we could change something it would be to have a King size bed in the family room, as the room is a lovely size and it would make it more of a luxury/comfortable stay. We would and probably will stay here again.

Nice pub just along a side street off the main road through Abergele town centre.

My wife and I go out for a pub lunch once a week, this week it was the Bull in Abergele, I must say it was the best pub lunch I have had for a long time. I would recommend this 5*****

We booked for a party of about twenty people on a Monday night. Great choice on Menu, everything available considering it was a quite night and we didn't have to pre order. Most of us had something different and everyone really enjoyed there meal, meals were presented well and good quality food, cooked to perfection! Desserts were very nice and again good choice and price's were really reasonable. Staff very helpful and friendly. i would definitely be going back and would recommend to everyone to try it.

Nothing special but good hearty food, decent portion sizes too. Friendly staff as well. The only downside was the garlic mushroom starter. Far too much sauce to the extent it looked more like a soup. Shame because the rest of the meal was fine.

Nice place. Never been there before. First impression was and old fashioned (good thing) bar area, with comfy chairs and a choice of beers. Lees certainly believe in investing in their pubs and the Bull has a decent ambience. Food was partaken and I opted for a steak burger. It was good. Salad was little limp maybe and probably would have been better left off altogether maybe. Service was excellent despite the numbers eating. Person sitting opposite had the Mixed Grill which was massive !

We had dinner here one evening and enjoyed our steak and goats cheese tart. The pub was clean and had a lovely atmosphere. It is obviously popular too as there were lots of people eating, some with dogs which were very well behaved. The only problem we had with this place was that the member of staff was on his own and the service was slow. After having our main courses, we expected an offer of desserts or coffee but it never came so we settled the bill and left. Not the best service.
