Saw a sign as we walked past staying dogs would get free sausage if owners came in for a drink. Took our two dogs in,staff saw them, couldn't really miss them as ones a St Bernard but despite being in about half an hour,no sausages were forthcoming, not even a biscuit..Bit of false advertising to get folk in,not going again.( It's ok,dogs had a trip to another establishment where sausage and biscuits came)

The transformation of a former bank into a vibrant food and drink establishment is truly remarkable. It offers a distinctive and captivating ambiance, providing a unique place to unwind and enjoy oneself. The toasties served here are exceptionally delightful, crafted with love and care. What makes this place even more intriguing is the downstairs area, which was once the bank's vault. It has been ingeniously repurposed as a seating area, lending a cool and atmospheric vibe. It also serves as a "jail cell" for the alcoholic drinks, adding a playful touch to the experience. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the wide selection of draft beers is simply unparalleled. I wholeheartedly recommend visiting this extraordinary establishment.

An average 3. Filled with Mancunians or Liverpudlians who fancy themselves posh, but the beer was rubbish and the drink so-so. I did not find it that great to be honest. Art deco was pretty cool and the vibe was so welcoming and friendly. Amazing for food, great options for "little 'un's" (kids) too! Staff were lovely, food was hot, fresh and fast. -In love with the pub dog, who was incredibly cute! So, this establishment was dog friendly too which is a nice touch! Definitely worth visiting whilst around the area.

We visited a couple of times on 15th and 16th of September.A very pleasant experience with a good variety of beers and good atmosphere.Served by a smartly dressed young man in the afternoon but in the evening on Saturday the bar staff looked very young males dressed untidily in black shorts/tee shirts one with red hair stood smoking on the entrance steps smoking with his hands down his shorts scratching his private parts then going back to the bar without washing his hands.Personal hygiene was not visible to me as a customer as a customer."

Visiting Conwy for a couple of nights over the bank holiday. Our experience of all the bars and pubs was excellent apart from the Bank of Conwy. I had been recommended to visit here by a family member but will never be retuning or recommending this place to anyone. I realise that it is busy during a Saturday night and that may put pressure on the bar staff but that does not mean that politeness to customers is optional. After patiently waiting for 10-15 at the bar to be served and watching one member of staff try to get on top of the pot washing area and the rest of the staff serve the far end of the bar. When the pot washer came to start to serve and went to the two customer next to us in the newly cleared pot area. I politely asked if we could be served first as we had been waiting for quite a while and they had only just come to be served. As myself and the other customer laughed and joked about us being first, I was then rudely told by the young bar staff that I’d not get anything if I had an attitude. After confirming I had heard his comment correctly I was quite rightly annoyed at this unnecessary and unwarranted rudeness and promptly walked out to drink elsewhere. As someone who has visited the renowned rude people in New York but didn’t feel it necessary to leave a negative review for any of those businesses I can safely say that i was more than a little angry at the way I was treated. I worked for many years during my late teens and early twenties in the bar and restaurant industry in places in Manchester City centre and student area which were much busier than a village environment and if your young lad thought I was being rude during our interaction, he has led a very sheltered life and perhaps he would be better suited to working in a factory where he is not customer facing and going to ruin the reputation of a business with his dreadful attitude and rudeness to patient and polite customers My suggestion is that you train your staff in how to be polite even under the pressure of a busy bank holiday. Very disrespectful and disappointing

The interior of this bar is interesting. The upholstery could do with renovating though. A choice of 3 cask ales and some craft ales on tap. No TV or loud music which is good. It is yet another establishment in Conwy that is dog friendly which for some isn't appealing. Especially when you see dogs sat on the seats. Not tried the food which is just typical bar food but not badly priced.

We came to the restaurant for an early dinner. The view and the interior were lovely. Menu was limited - sadly we couldn’t find any chicken dishes (not in a sandwich). I ordered beef brisket - it was served as a sandwich in between two ciabatta slices. It was soft, but the taste was sweet due to the chutney, and very disgusting due to the blue cheese. It wasn’t specified clearly, so I was hoping this cheese would be served separately and I just wouldn’t eat it, but nope, it was inside. The taste was very very bad. And the price was £14. Chips were served without any sauce, and no sauce was offered by the staff. So, it was very dry. Coffee was very bad and sour, had to ask for some milk to mix it together. Pavlova dessert for £8.50 was my biggest disappointment. It should be called micro-Pavlova. It’s the tiniest Pavlova I’ve ever seen, and so overpriced! Overall, can’t recommend - neither for the drinks, nor especially for food. Service charge 10% was already included into the price.

Seemed good cleaning practices. Staff friendly and polite. However, will NEVER visit again, the food appeared good and hot other than the ham sandwich and side salad which was of course cold, severe food poisoning followed, my wife is a chef and previously owned a lovely country pub never had a complaint in 8 years, always spot on reviews. You guys need to up your game on the cold food, I am considering legal advise, I'm always sorry to give bad reviews because I love to support businesses in Cymru. This place has a beautiful view and unfortunately let down by disastrous cold sides, I think the hot food was probably OK. Please up your game but unfortunately we won't be returning.
