The best restaurants in North Wales

There's something about national trust cafes. Overpriced service is always poor and the food is always substandard Paid £3.30 for a bottle of water. There was no filling station for us to refill ours.

A Lovely relaxing place to pop in for a coffee & something nice to eat. The views are breathtaking & it's so relaxing there.

Went here for a snack and was very good nicely prepared an voucher for our next visit which we used the next day very helpful staff if you want a baggette with salad this is good value for moneyn

Sausage rolls were cold, was refused the hot ones that had come out of the oven and placed on the bottom of the display. Served by a tall guy with short hair and the world owes me a living attitude.

i didnt order rottiserie chicken, but that was what i got and asked for cheese and toasted. i didnt get that either.

We hadn't planned on going here, we were driving through Rhyl, reminiscing about the memories we had with my late dad. I was on holiday with my mum and my dog. We called in, it was Good Friday and we hadn't booked but despite tables being reserved the manager/ owner (didn't get his name unfortunately) went out of his way to find a table for us in the 'dog friendly area'. He moved bookings around to accommodate us and even went and got a bowl of water for Rosie. He couldn't have been nicer!! We ordered a carvery which was well presented and everything tasted absolutely lovely! We didn't feel rushed and everyone was so polite! Thankyou!!

If I could give no stars I would. Had take away chicken burger stone cold!!!! Box that it was in cold I should gave realised and refused it. Oh and payed for a bag I didn't get!!! Absolutely disgusting 🫣 never again!!!!

Stunning location excellent little pub. Makes me laugh reading some of these reviews complaining about having to wait an hour for food mid August! Busiest time of the year so give the staff a break!!! Not returning some of the comments here. Well Im sure you won’t be missed!!

What a fabulous evening we had, service and food was second to none can't wait to visit again and the Alan Carr look alike was just amazing

Over an hour wait. (Was not warned) Bar very untidy. Toilets FILTHY. Lunch deal is not a deal - they just give you less than a child’s portion. It was BAD.

NO DOGS ALLOWED. As stated on website it is dog friendly but definitely not, so went to the ship inn lovely staff most definitely a dog friendly place.
