What a find! Not familiar with the area we found this on TripAdvisor. A small traditional pub, with small local bar and restaurant and a welcoming landlord. The menu is small but that didn't put us off, having a good choice of traditional meals such as lasagne, fish, and burgers, and we all found something we liked. All the meals are cooked fresh and they were happy to alter the pizza toppings for my son. The chicken in BBQ sauce was delicious and came with home cooked chips and onion rings. Service was excellent, and the landlord and waiting staff very friendly and quick serving. Will definitely visit again if in the area
Lovely pub with extremely tentative and accommodating propietors. My dad has dementia and they couldn't have been more helpful and nicer to him. We were strangers here on our first visit but they treated us like their favourite customers. They treat all their customers like that. The food was amazing and generous! Can't fault this traditional Welsh pub. We would visit regularly if we were more local to the area. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Thanks to Carter, Tom and all the folks we chatted to in the garden for making us feel so welcome. Fab pub, great beer and lovely company. Hope to see you again soon :)

The sunday carvery in the colliers is beautiful hence the reason I am there most Sundays . Have had a meal on a weeknight which was very nice too. Staff are lovely
We have to buy in bulk, and transport talerddig sausage rools over 300 miles for our daughter, that tells you everything you need to know. Lovely bread too
When you’re by the seaside, having an ice cream is almost inevitable! Mine was from the Pier Ice Cream Parlour, a street facing kiosk which is part of the Royal Pier. It serves a range of interesting flavoured ice creams, along with a choice of cones or tub.
My Smartie waffle cone with honey flavoured ice cream was tasty…and the round wafer was so cute!
Cannot speak highly enough of the new owners, it's the second time I have been staff cannot do enough for you, food excellent, portions more than enough.
As hoc stop for dinner after a long day on the hills was met with awesome food and great atmosphere. Julie and the chefs were brilliant- a genuine delight
Phew.
When we moved here 10 years ago The Harp was legendary both us a pub and as somewhere to eat. We went there ourselves and recommended it to others. Then the woderful couple he owned it had to leave. Cue a long period when it was bascially avoidable.
Now with new owners it's back to its best.
Food is straightfoward, intersting, served well, and very well priced. Wine is amazing - the mark-ups are very refreshing and the choice is excellent.
Basically everything is back to what it was and you need to support them!!
Good food, but a bit more heating in the back room would have made it a better experience. The wood burner wasn't throwing out much heat and the radiator was off - until we turned it on.
This is a very nice venue and quite different to anything else around here, I believe this place could really take off, good selection of drinks and the food is surprisingly good.
