Excellent service, all of the staff were really attentive. The Sunday lunch was OK, they had run out of stuffing and peas, it did feel as though we were eating what was left of the carvery which was a shame as they reviews look very good. That said I would go back!

Friendly staff, nice warm inviting atmosphere, good selection of items on the menu, good sized portions, only bad comment would be my steak was overcooked. Good selection of desserts,

As I am Gluten intolerant I am quite anxious about eating out, but I had a lovely meal at the Colliers yesterday afternoon. The staff were so friendly and there was no fuss. They were able to tell me what meals were Gluten free & were happy to adapt other meals if I wanted, nothing was to much trouble for them. I had a delicious meal at a great price in a lovely environment. I will definitely be going there again.

Warm welcome. They made a fuss of our two dogs and gave them treats. The steak pie, chips and peas was delicious and the apple pie lovely!

I went to Colliers Pwll last night for the first time… and oh my goodness it did not disappoint! The food was absolutely incredible. Home cooked chips, the nicest steak I have ever had. Honestly better than Millier&Carter! Even the peas were insane! The service was fantastic and they couldn’t do enough for us. We can’t wait to return again next week. Diolch!

This place is one of the best places for a good meal and fun.The staff are the kindest people in the world and the food is incredible. Two of our party have to eat gluten free and the staff went through the whole menu to see what we could eat making sure we had something we could have. Our party loved the fresh chips and the three of us who had their steak thought it was brilliant and couldn’t be better. They also have lovely pies that were amazing!!!. Lovely welcome and good service. The chicken goujons were moist and well-cooked, as were the chips. Prices very reasonable. Not a lot of choice if you want small portions or sandwiches for lunch as yet. Interior newly decorated and very comfortable. Will definitely visit again.

Lovely Sunday lunch... under new management. We visited today as we could see it had been taken over by new management. We had Sunday lunch, choice of 3 meats and could have all 3 if you wished. Sunday lunch was lovely and they braught you more veg and gravy when needed. Also had puddings as we couldn't resist. The drinks were decently priced and so was the food, so we will definately come back. Also a bonus that it's dog friendly so the dog came with us too, was nice to see afew other dogs there too, lovely village pub 😊

Booked for a family of 8 and we all had a fabulous Sunday roast. Very generous portions, not sure the kid’s portion were any smaller than the adults! Most of us had the trio of meats which were all superbly cooked with great choice of vegetables and plenty of gravy. Service and atmosphere was excellent, very warm and friendly. Good value for money and throughly recommend. We also went back in the evening for the quiz which was fantastic and a great end to the day.

I had Sunday lunch here yesterday and it was absolutely superb and one of the best I’ve ever had. Angela the chef is a credit to the business and always makes me feel welcome along with Steve (the owner) and his wife. There was a copious amount of food. I’d ordered the beef and it was so tender and tasty with Angela’s homemade gravy. The cauliflower cheese was delicious and I certainly recommend that you try here if you’re visiting Pwll. 10/10 from me. Thank you!

Definitely not the fine dining experience promised! Very disappointed, mediocre food with overcooked vegetables. Knew we were going to be disappointed when offered cheese savouries (think 1970’s party food) as an appetiser! Salt and pepper squid - lacking either salt or pepper but with the addition of soggy parsnip crisps and grapes. The waiting staff were pleasant!

Mock timber frame manor house retaining much of its character and charm. No lifts. Breakfast was choose your own pre-packed cereals with a cooked option. Dinner was a mini-taster with delicious options which we watched cooked on TV cameras. The room was clean but dated with an en-suit crammed in. High windows restricted light and views of extensive gardens and river. The staff were friendly and willing but lacked service training. Guests our age do not wish to be called 'you guys'.

Great place to stay. A friend and I cycled to the area and stayed here overnight. The owner is very accommodating and friendly. The room is a generous size with all the facilities you would want, and you have access to an outside deck area with lounge chairs and table which is ideal on a sunny day. The breakfast was also lovely. The location was great as it’s a 5 min walk from 2 good pubs and a post office/shop
