The best restaurants in Newtown East Powys Mid Wales

Superb food and friendly staff. Booked a table for 7 plus 2 dogs and requested breakfast, even though we were due to arrive shortly after midday. The Full Breakfast was fantastic, as well as the falafel wrap and salad. The dogs were treated to free dog treats and supplied with fresh water. This was our second visit to the cafe and certainly won't be our last.

Six of us for Sunday lunch. We had a great time. The waitresses were really good, the meal was able portion and really tastie. Would recommend. That's Kerry lamb team

Lovely convenient place to stop for lunch enroute for North Wales. Discovered this little gem by chance and we are so glad we did. Tasty fresh food reasonably priced. Friendly staff who keep the premises clean and welcoming. better We visit several times a year since finding it about three years ago. Do not pass it looking for better. You will pay at least double and not eat so well.

Visiting the area and decided to try Health loaded . Unsure what to expected but it certainly didn't disappoint .we had chicken Andalusian with brown rice and steamed veg,salmon ,rice and roast veg and chickpea curry. The flavours of all the dishes were amazing and all beautiful cooked . Portions were generous and really good value for money . Great food,thank u

The BEST Thai food! My sister visited here twice in December and recommended it to me, and I’m SO glad she did! I absolutely loved everything and the owner is so lovely! I’ve tasted tempura honey and siracha shrimp, duck spring rolls, chicken chips, massaman curry, coconut rice, prawn crackers and Singapore egg noodles and all the textures were beautiful and so full of flavour! I’ve since attended with family for my mum’s birthday and everyone loved each of their meals too, especially the Pad Thai. I cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you for always providing an outstanding service :)

Delicious food, reasonably priced and large servings. Warm, friendly, attentive staff. Great tunes and interesting decor. Forgot I was in Newtown for a minute; bliss.

Food is always freshly made, owners are very nice and polite & worth every penny! Would highly recommend the chicken souvlaki, its delicious!

Popped in for a swift half last Friday evening, whilst waiting for the trains to get moving. Service was great, Prices were good & the atmosphere was cracking! Lot's of nice folks & a lovely little pooch too. Very welcoming & cosy on a crappy Welsh winters eve.
