Health Loaded Bar in Powys

Visiting the area and decided to try Health loaded . Unsure what to expected but it certainly didn't disappoint .we had chicken Andalusian with brown rice and steamed veg,salmon ,rice and roast veg and chickpea curry. The flavours of all the dishes were amazing and all beautiful cooked . Portions were generous and really good value for money . Great food,thank u

Chanced upon this place when staying one night in Newtown. The food was absolutely delicious, and it was extremely well priced. I would thoroughly recommend the Cucumber Soup - the owners are Polish so it is a very traditional Polish dish. The other food is a sort of make up your own dish from a mix and match menu - great concept and very tasty. Highly recommended.

What a lovely find, we ordered from here for a delivered takeaway. All the food arrived hot and within a promptly timed manner and we found the staff we dealt with the be brilliant. On to the best part, the food! We ordered a range of dishes including their chicken and salmon, 3 salads and the mushrooms risotto. We found the portion sizes to be decent and great value. All of the food was clearly very fresh and of a good origin, very tasty and well executed. Having this as a takeaway was a refreshing meal which when we visit the area again, we will be re ordering. Keep doing what you’re doing as it’s amazing!

A mild day in October and we visited Health Loaded for an impromptu takeaway lunch, although we hadn't realised that seating is available inside, bar type tables and high stools, to sit and watch the world go by - such as the world is in Newtown! We love the concept of the menu - choose your protein / choose your carbs / choose your side / choose any extras - which allows you to build a unique meal based on your likes / dislikes and your appetite, since almost all the dishes are available in small or large portions. There is also a good range of desserts, smoothies, cold pressed juices and drinks. My other half had the plain chicken breast with roast potatoes, and commented that it was the most delicious chicken he had had. I chose mushroom risotto with steamed broccoli, lovely yellow, creamy risotto with al dente broccoli. I was asked if I wanted my risotto vegan or vegetarian and, indeed, there were plenty of options for vegans and vegetarians. Everything was served in natural cardboard boxes, with unbleached paper napkins and bamboo cutlery, in a brown paper carrier bag - nice touch. Our meals, plus a J2O drink each, came to £13, which we thought was good value; we both felt full and, as a couple with quite different tastes, the facility to choose exactly what we wanted was great. We had to wait around 20 minutes for our meal to be freshly cooked; it does recommend on the menu leaflets that you phone ahead with your order, but we called in on spec. Staff were friendly and the estimate of how long it would take was spot on. We will definitely be returning.

Food always served with high quality. Taste amazing. Highly recommend👌 They do delivery too which is amazing when you don't what to go anywhere it can be delivered to your door step.

This was my first experience of the food here, after excellent recommendations.The food is fantastic and i will most definitely be using again. The owners are also very friendly and helpful. I will also be recommending health loaded to people i know. I already mentioned to someone before i had tried and they ordered for the first time and she told me how great it was and thanked me for telling her about it. The best place in town by far.

Absolutely delicious food, clearly with very high quality ingredients and freshly cooked to order. A real home-cooked feel. Great menu, with a variety of combinations of meats, vegetables, sauces and carbs to choose from. Very welcoming and friendly staff.

We happened to walk past on a weekend visit to Newtown and thought the menu looks fabulous - we were not disappointed as the food was fresh, portions good and very tasty! We loved it - wish there were places like this near to us. Would highly recommend if you are in the area.

Very tasty, good value, good portions and nutritious, what more could you want? This really was an amazing treat, I'll definitely be back!

To be completely fair, we simply walked past the restaurant today and almost missed it. I thought the name peculiar but the smells coming out of the front door drew me in. The meal was delicious and healthy. I only wished we had this eatery closer to our town. ++ on the taste and quality of the food.

I had a take away from here chicken breast with roasted vegetables it was lovely so very tasty I will definitely be back
