We visited Pembroke for the first time as adults with our 9 and 11 year olds. We were all very hungry due to leaving Tenby early. We wanted to visit the castle and revisit childhood memories. However our stomachs had other ideas. We walked unknowingly down the Main Street and just via luck we found Browns Cafe. Well what can I say !!! Absolutely amazing good quality food and service. Each meal was really nice. They said on the menu that the fish was award winning and it sure was. They were accommodating and attentive. It looked like a family run business and the attention to detail was incredible. Many thanks for our take out lamb cawl it was great for our tea. You are doing a fantastic job. Keep it up xx
Very welcoming and friendly staff.
Food was lovely, and good value.
Only criticism would be that the place needs a little bit of tlc but still an enjoyable experience

Went for the quiz on Wednesday night really great atmosphere and the quiz was good (didn't win !) No real ale but never mind the cider was reasonably priced didn't have food. Will go again
We found Caban on an online search looking for somewhere for a nice breakfast in Llanberis - and we're so glad we did! Lovely setting and nice atmosphere, delicious coffee (with oat milk), healthy but filling breakfasts for all of our family. We would highly recommend and will definitely be back on our next visit to Snowdonia. Prices seemed fine and no more than we were charged at our hotel the day before.
My husband and I loved this fabulously individual pub.
With its quirky gated door entry system to its stalled seating area. ... we loved it.
First you need to find the pub down a side street looking unobtrusive.
Secondly, you have to work out how to get in through its door. Read the sign and wait.
Thirdly, enter into a magical space of a well stocked bar and well thought seating area to maximise the space within.
Finally, park your bottom in one of the seating areas and enjoy the vibe of this funky, friendly and very very interesting pub.
We really didn't want to go.
No other pub compares to this one and we did try others to give this pub a fair review.

Great little brasserie: all the food is home made, I had a cheese & ham panini with chips and what I though was going to be a snack for lunch was a full-blown meal - for sub £14.00. Excellent value for money. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating and even our dog got a warm welcome!
Had really good food here as always tonight. The beer and service was also excellent. I can highly recommend and I’ll have to pop in again soon cause I’ve just realised that I forgot to leave a tip!!
Great pub and place to stay. Love area to base yourself with loads to do. We booked here as we were doing orienteering course nearby.
Food was stunning, all prepared in house. Good choice without being over extended, this ensured everything served was tasty and well delivered.
I chatted to the chef at end of service, he and the front of house team were amazing and clearly cared about delivering superb food and service.
This place is a gem. We will definitely return.
I would advise booking- these guys are organised and it clearly helps them.
