lovely place with friendly staff and locals

It's closed, yet Google Maps keeps asking me to take it

Best bingo place but unfortunately closed down.

Had the mixed grill it was all really nice except the steak. My partner had 10oz rump. Looked lovely but both steaks were very chewy and had to spit out. When I went to pay and mentioned the steak he just said sorry about that while looking down. Gutted about this because I’ve been told that they done good food

Came here the other day with two of my mates. As soon as we walked through the doo we could tell that this place wouldn’t be up to much, but we have it a chance. We walked in and the bartender just stared at us, not even greeting us. We sat down and then we had to go up to the bar to even get a menu. The menu had to be the most run down thing I had ever seen (apart from the actual pub) the menu was limited and was just a laminated piece of paper which was ruined. After a while we got served, the woman who served us was extremely rude all she said was “what do you want for food” in a horrible tone not even offering us drinks so we had the food with not drinks, so we went up to the bar to order drinks, the girl who served us drinks was lovely but the other woman was horrible. The food was average (gammon was more salty than the sea) the pub itself was run down and the service was awful. Wouldn’t recommend

A few of us went for food, it was a lovely atmophere. Staff were very attentive. I had lamb chops and they were fantastic good prices for food and aspels 4.20 cant go wrong. Would deffinately recommended a visit.

We went with family and could not fault the service, the food was good and hot and really good value. Back again when we next in Wales.

Very much a basic pub grub place. Reasonably priced and tasty and no problem parking in the large car park or finding a table as I was the only customer

Had a lovely meal, I had a lady with me in a wheelchair, very easy wheelchair access, staff friendly and helpful and good prices, lovely food and lovely clean toilets, couldn't ask for more.

We visited here based on the reviews we read on Google. Unfortunately our experience here was completely different to the other reviews. The staff were lovely and I can't fault them at all but the food was terrible. The meal had been cooked hours before and then microwaved just before serving, meaning the chicken was very rubbery and the cheese, that was supposed to be melted over the top, was a rubbery, lumpy mess. I rarely write negative reviews but felt that I should on this occasion due to the other reviews being quite misleading.

Pub food here is lovely- always have the chicken curry as it’s very good. Service is always fantastic and always have a warm welcome.

Drinks are a bit pricey but nice environment and live bands are here sometimes if a nice evening is desired out. Pool and dart games are available here to.

Had xmas lunch here as food throughout the year is highly recommended, was not expecting it to be 5star either we were not impressed with the xmas dinner served it very average & bland for the price...... however the staff worked hard and were happy & friendly

What an absolutely fantastic pub. I went there for a quiet meal on Sunday evening. The food was outstanding, the service was brilliant. We even entered a small pub quiz and had a game of bingo. I would highly recommend a visit. The staff were wonderful.

I love this place, the food is always perfect never had a bad meal, and recently a party of 20+ we all had perfect meals and all ate together, no one left out or waiting. Only 4 stars as its let down on decor.

Good honest menu but quality always consistently high quality. Atmos is always friendly and service is good. Background music is usually magic 80's so all good there too. Go give it a try..
