Love the vibe of this place and enjoyed leafing through a Kelly Slater surfing book while we chilled on cushioned seats in the corner. We’d eaten at the Caswell Surfside a couple of days previously and really liked the food we had so we came here after a swim in Langland Bay. The spiced veggie burger is fantastic - perfect size and generous side salad. The seeded bread used for the sandwiches is especially delicious. It’s a pity we live two hours away or l’d be there every week!

The 4 of us popped in for a quick bite to eat and some cake. It was not too busy when we arrived and decided to eat inside as it was a bit windy outside. It’s a cute cafe and the staff are wonderful but I’ll be honest it felt a bit dirty and grubby. Granted it’s beach side and I would expect some sand and pools of water on the floor but the tables were not being cleaned after other customers left, there were lots of colourful cushions strooned everywhere and they could all do with a freshen up, it felt a bit cramped and the cutlery, which was stored openly in pots right by the entrance door and hot drink collection area, looked and felt a bit grubby. The food was lovely, I enjoyed the cous cous salad that came with my panini, it was a nice touch but the panini was bland with no seasoning (tomato, mozzarella and ham). We all had a cake from the glass cabinet on the counter and while they were nice, they were a bit dry. We paid £67 for all 4 of us to to have a sandwich, cake and drink. So it’s neither cheap or expensive but I’ve enjoyed a much better experience elsewhere for less. I wouldn’t rush to come and eat here again, there are much better places but really lovely to sit outside for a drink and an ice cream I would say.

Used the Surfside cafes at both Langland and Caswell Bay during our recent holiday in South Wales. Both equally as good. Great coffee and friendly staff 👍🌊

Nice little cafe at the top of the beach. It’s cosy inside, quite small but plenty of seats. Log burner at the far end keeps it nice and warm. Drinks were good, cake and bagel both lovely too. Food prices a bit steep but a good range of light bites. Nice busy little spot.

Others I was with enjoyed the food. Would have given 5 for food but there was nothing I could eat as no vegan options not even one tokenisation sandwich. How hard can it be to buy a pot of hummus or something

Great location - which itself deserves 5 stars ...just such a shame the service continues to be dreadful ...but if you want to wait patiently for a stone-cold bacon sandwich this is the place for you! All of which drops the star count to 2...

Food and service as expected, but our whole party were disgusted by a dog sitting at the table adjacent to us. I expect a dog friendly cafe to allow dogs on the floor, not sitting on the cushions where other people have to sit. Then the dog licked clean the plates of its owners. Yuck

Stopped for lunch, gluten free options minimal and of course expensive. So I had the salad £10.50 some tuna mayo, red onions, lettuce, cucumber and tomatoes. Underneath the mayo there was cheese, thought it was odd, but worst still realised it was couscous. Obviously this is durum wheat & not gluten free! £10.50 was a lot and even more, now I have to spend a few hours hoping I didn't eat any! I commented to a member of staff who shrugged! Not exactly the most helpful thing to do! Won't be going back and can't recommend. Poisoning people is not cool! If I was allergic, it would have been a very different situation! Please train your staff!

Usual great coffee, delicious bacon and egg rolls followed by a good run on the beach by Zoey the dog, zestful as ever in her search for her canine friends. Another really pleasant visit here with very friendly, helpful staff, great views, excellent coffee & cosy venue HOWEVER really needs a clean & scant attention to COVID regs - no open windows & tables not cleaned between use, cutlery & crockery dirty & though food was tasty quite expensive for what it was with poor presentation - these are not new issues & unfortunately are true of the other two venues to a greater or lesser extent which is such a shame as they are great assets to this coast path walk.

On a sunny morning this must be one of the best placed cafes to enjoy a coffee and/or breakfast, as it is placed in the middle of Langland Bay overlooking the sea and Devon beyond. If the weather is poor, then there's a nice wood burner inside to warm you up. Dogs are allowed inside, though personally I don't find that a bonus!

Lovely location but.... Ordered two burgers, a gingerbread latte and a cup of tea. The drinks had to be picked up separately, milk and sugar on the side - this wasn't made clear which resulted in a lukewarm drink. The burgers were undercooked, the buns soggy with grease and the salad looked like an explosion in a salad factory. 22 quid spent and bad burger breath for the rest of the day. Not the best!

Placed an order for delivery. Food arrived within allocated time but was stone cold! Contacted the store and they didn't care and blamed the driver and the driver blamed them. Meal came to £42 which was very expensive but had heard good things. Won't order again as when reheated the food became dry and pretty flavourless.
