Food By Sean N0600 in Swansea

We were not an easy booking for afternoon tea, 4 different dietary requirements! But Sean and the staff accommodated for each of us without any question. We had a fabulous time, the staff are very welcoming and go the extra mile. The food is fresh, homemade and delicious, I will definitely be making a return visit and I overheard the other tables say the same. One recommendation is that you do book in advance, you will not regret it and have a lovely experience.

What can I say ! Totally satisfying evening , the staff were so friendly, the food was out of this world. Only 2 tiny criticisms the chips could have been done a bit more n crispier and the lemon tart was not lemony enough. But these are minor issues . Everything else in our 4 courses were amazing . Thank you all at number 600. See you again.

Went with my husband tonight for the evening fine dining menu.We ordered the pre dinner snacks to start and they were delicious. Every course was tasty and full of flavour.The staff,a young man and lady were extremely professional and friendly. We've been here several times for coffee,breakfast and afternoon teas but this was our first evening meal. Beautiful surroundings and a lovely ambiance as always. Definitely recommend to anyone wanting excellent food and perfect service.Thanks for a lovely night.

Lovely atmosphere and food was nice, the staff were very friendly too. We had the chicken panini which was in a toasted baguette rather than a panini. My daughter had the cawl which she didn’t really eat because the meat was very fatty. We would definitely come again, but will try the afternoon tea next time because it looked delicious!

Had afternoon tea and it was the best I've had! Homemade pastries and cakes were delicious and warm! Staff were soo friendly and acommodating made us feel very welcome, will definitely return and recommend to all friends and family, thank you!xx

Jess and Charlene were fabulous hosts and the food was amazing. We had a pot of tea for two in a delightful silver large tea pot and I opted for the cajun chicken panini with chips and side salad. My sister had the egg mayo sandwich with crisps and side salad. 10/10

This place is a little gem! Right in the heart of clydach! The food is the best we have had in a very long time! It was simply outstanding! 👌 first class in fact! ❤ The shef Chris was truly amazing everything cooked to perfection and of excellent quality! Fabulous afternoon tea with friends. Tho scotch egg, sausage roll and savoury tart were warm which is a nice touch. Sandwiches really tasty and the home made cakes were excellent. The staff are very helpful and efficient. If you are thinking of booking please do so as you won’t be disappointed.

We had the 2 course lunch and it was beautiful, there was plenty of food and we both really enjoyed. The staff were very polite and friendly. The takeaway cakes were amazing too!

We had sean come to our house previously and it was fantastic. However, this meal at the restaurant was very disappointing. The service was top class with lovely people. The pre-starters were very average with the breaded cheese being the best but I’m amazed that the turkey croquette is deemed good enough to send out, dry and just bad. The belly pork starter was decent, the duck terrine was again, really quite poor and my wife only ate half, at a push. It was very dry and just very bland. My wife said the falafel was ok and I did enjoy the beef fillet which was by far the highlight, although the accompany pie was disappointing with soggy undercooked pastry. Desserts were again, ok. We ate half. We spent £110 and left feeling totally underwhelmed and would not return.

What a brilliant place for great food and service.

Had my baby shower here today and it did not disappoint. The afternoon tea was stunning, they accommodated dietary requirements and looked after my little girl really well. The staff Jade and Evan were so friendly. The decor and atmosphere was fab too.

I was really disappointed as many have said they have had a good experience. My friends' meals were ok, you can't really mess up salmon. Others who had chicken were told there was no chorizo as they hadn't had their delivery. I'd opted for risotto with vegetables. There was a delay so I was offered a free drink. When it came it was rather glutinous, not a hint of cheese and the vegetables consisted of 12 melon ball scoops of cucumber, a scoop of what looked like carrot which wasn't cooked, and onions. Would I bother to go for lunch again. Definitely not. I was also quite shocked to find that the toilet is outside and you have to go down some old stone steps to get to it whilst braving any inclement weather.

Such a cosy place to visit with a friend for lunch. There was plenty of options to choose from. I highly recommend the steak sandwich and a cake afterwards is a must! The ladies who served us were so friendly.

Blew my expectations apart. From the decor to the friendly staff, as soon as you walk in the front door you feel immediately taken care of. Me and my wife had pre-booked a autumnal afternoon tea, which consisted of an enormous amount of sweet treats, savoury delights, and perfectly crafted sandwiches, not to mention an endless amount of tea and coffee. Not only was the food plentiful, but the quality was the best I've had in a long, long time. I can't recommend this place enough, and it left an impression so sharp and so distinct that we immediately booked for breakfast the following week.

This place is outstanding! Communication via their Facebook page was quick (there is an auto response. However, they replied to my message within 30 mins). When you walk in, the atmosphere instantly relaxes you! The decor is qwerky, and welcoming. It's like nowhere you've been before, but it feels homely at the same time. The staff were extremely lovely and welcoming, and even though they came over to check on us, it wasn't too much (if that makes sense). The presentation of the afternoon tea was absolutely awesome! And the quality was phenomenal!! The flavours, the textures, and the portion sizes were absolutely spot on!! We can't wait to return to try other menu options!!

Afternoon tea was delicious and the staff were amazing

This was our 2nd time visiting no600, and for the 2nd time we thoroughly enjoyed! The first visit was for an evening meal, which was a complete change to anything else you see offered around, everything well thought out and plated, and things that in your own mind would probably never put together, yet it all works and is delicious! Make sure you get the scotch egg, because just wow! And the pre dinner snacks that came so well presented in a box with fancy smoke, it's all a treat to the eyes and pallette! Our second visit was for the lunch menu, which is a great deal at only £14.95 for 2 courses, and 2 well sized courses at that, full of flavour and beautifully presented! The staff are super friendly and the waitress even remembered us from only 1 previous visit (told you we would write a review this time 😉). We are already planning our next visit for afternoon tea! Look forward to coming back!

The team at No600 are absolutely wonderful. Nothing is too much. All of them make you feel very welcome. The decor is beautiful and it has a relaxing atmosphere. The afternoon tea was absolutely delicious. Everything was made fresh including scones, pastries and cakes. I am certainly going back. Parking can be a little tricky as it's situated on a main road but there is street parking available, just be sure to check signage. I highly recommend booking as they couldn't accommodate walk ins the day I visited.

A delightfully quaint restaurant and pleasantly decorated. The restaurant dining area isn't large and the ambience is intimate. The food is well presented and delicious so well done to the chef. The pre-dinner snacks is highly recommended. Huge shout out to the waitresses who were pleasant, attentive and nothing was too much trouble for them.

This is a lovely little cafe with a very intimate vibe. I love the art on the walls and the decor in general, is very inviting and engaging. I tend to go here for coffee only though as although the menu looks good there are very few, if any, vegan options. Last week, I went for lunch with my granddaughter and I asked what vegan options they had as there were no options on the lunch menu and was told that I could have a vegan sausage roll but that it would take 40 minutes to make and they closed in an hour. I then asked if they could make me beans on toast (as they do breakfasts in the morning) and to be fair, they did make it for me but it would be good to have some nicer vegan options. The staff were very friendly and polite throughout my visit so whilst I wouldn't choose to go here for a meal, it's a lovely place to have a coffee and they always have oat milk.

Treated to a birthday breakfast by close friends. Had the Sourdough, Avocado, poached eggs. The meal was ruined by the smashed Avocado which had either been taken out of a very cold refrigerator or a freezer, totally ruined the bread, eggs - yuk! Such total inattention to detail. Gave it 2 star because of the very nice staff.That should read inattention to detail.

This place is confusing. Visited in December 2022 and enjoyed an incredible full breakfast with high quality ingredients. Visited again in March 2023 and was told they don't serve meals in the day? No information on website to explain any changes. No menus or pricing guide on our table. Ordered two coffees and one bagel and only when we paid did we discover the cost, which was £12 (ouch). Nice decor and friendly staff, but for me personally, this was an unremarkable experience.

Came for afternoon tea today and wow !! The food was absolutely stunning homemade sausage rolls, scotch eggs, quiche and scones...with all the other food to boot . We had some much that we had to take it home...much to my husband's delight . The staff were fantastic and so attentive . Will definitely be back .

I have visited a few times on various occasions with both my partner and friends and have had an outstanding experience each time. The afternoon teas are made and prepared to a high standard and the presentation is absolutely outstanding. I have also visited a few of the fine dining evenings where my partners dietary requirements where fulfilled with him being both gluten free and vegan. All the staff are very attentive and friendly and the owners go out of their way to ensure the best experience is available for all guests. Highly recommended and will definitely be back again 😊

Booked afternoon tea for two older ladies today. We needed to pay £10 per person at time of booking, which was fine. We enjoyed a generous and delicious afternoon tea, and bottomless tea pot!! My only criticism would be that it was a shame coffee wasn't an alternative, as we had to pay for coffee. But definitely recommended for a special occasion. Wouldn't recommend just turning up, we saw a few couples being turned away as they were booked!! Easy to book though through Facebook.

Visited here for the first since Sean took over, and what a fantastic evening it was. The food and ambiance was superb, and the wine was reasonable too. Well worth a visit, snd will definitely return.

Came here yesterday for Afternoon Tea and we were blown away. The service, the atmosphere, the decor and especially the Afternoon Tea itself were all amazing! I have been following Food By Sean for a good while on social media now and as soon as I saw the Autumnal Afternoon Tea advertised I knew I had to book to try out their gorgeous treats The famous scotch egg definitely lived up to its hype, the best we've ever tasted! The chocolate layer cake was also to die for Thank you for a wonderful afternoon, we will definitely be returning very soon

This was a truly lovely experience. Tea in a proper pewter teapot and lovely cups and saucers. Service was excellent by charming young lady. Would recommend this place to anyone. A blast from the eloquent past.

Good food, pleasant surroundings and friendly Staff. Not disabled/mobility challenged friendly…toilets outside and down many very steep steps. Very difficult to book a table as they never answered the phone - always goes on to answerphone and don’t tend to get back to you for days!! Sad really as it’s quite an enjoyable experience once you’re there.

Was very disapointed with afternoon tea at the 600 *My dietry requirements that were requested over the phone was not adhered to. Requested no cheese or tomato to be served cheese sandwich was served, with other cheese dish,my friend commented cheese on his opinion was not very nice in the sandwich *service was bad requested hot water as tea was to strong for me. Hot water not served * never been there before on entering was offered a table straight away in the center of the cafe only table free. On sitting noticed another room would have preferred to have been offered a table in the other room bit more privacy * chairs were comfortable. *not worth the payment that was asked. * have looked at their Web sight the tea we were served had no comparison to the photo on their Web sight. * it was not the first afternoon tea I have had and have returned to those place's again and again sorry to say will not be revisiting the 600.

Visited with friend for lunch. Very compact area.Highly decorated, gold being the theme.Server quick to come to table to take drinks order & the returned & took our food order..waited over 1/2 hour to be informed they didn't have my order do reordered & wanted another 15 mins.By this time my friends coffee cup was empty so she did get free refill.The food itself was freshly prepared and tasty.

Lovely little cafe with a nice selection of breakfast foods and sandwiches. They offer afternoon tea which was priced around £20pp. A great array of coffees and teas along with milkshakes and soft drinks. It can get quite busy early morning and around school drop off/pick up so booking is recommended.

Waited over 30 minutes for our sandwich order. People coming after us being served before us. Wrong bread used for sandwich and to top it off I was given the crust. The onion chutney had far too much vinegar in it and no flavour to the cheese. No cutlery to eat the rocket with either. All in all very disappointing.

Qwerky little coffee shop that was hired for a funeral wake. Very nice respectful and helpful staff catered to the families needs. Thank you
