From booking on the phone, right up to paying, the service at Food By Sean @ N0600 was personable, professional and very friendly. We went for the Tim Burton-themed afternoon tea as my pre-birthday treat. Everything was delicious with a variety of flavours. Highlights? 🥪 The cheese and tomato chutney sandwich was delicious! 🥧 Mrs Lovetts meat pie was perfect! 🍒 The Dark Shadows forest tart had a great balance of sweet and tangy, and the sponge was sublime! Loved this gem and it was perfect for a rainy, autumnal day. Food By Sean @ N0600 in Ynystawe is a must. I thoroughly enjoyed and will be back again soon! Thank you! 🫶🏼

I love the afternoon tea here do tried the breakfast and was really disappointed. Toast was basically bread, avocado tasted bought (as in the pre made/mashed avocado you can buy) and it was all a bit tasteless. Service was good, breakfast was just disappointing

Visited here for the first since Sean took over, and what a fantastic evening it was. The food and ambiance was superb, and the wine was reasonable too. Well worth a visit, snd will definitely return.

Love this little gem. Best place locally for sure. I had mushroom and Stilton soup, which was delicious. The scone and cheesecake was absolutely superb, too. Good choice of coffees and soft drinks.

First time visiting, passed by many times but so glad I popped in! Staff are extremely friendly and the food was extremely good. The inside of the building is really unique, just kept admiring!

Such a shocking expensive with food by Sean @ no 600. Booked back in May for 4 adults and 2 children for afternoon tea Harry Potter themed as a treat for my daughter’s birthday. Clearly stated in the messages. Messaged the page to let them know that I had paid the requested deposit amount of £40. We turned up today and I told the lady we had a table booked gave my name and she said 2 adults & 2 children. No 4 adults 2 children. But she had down 2 adults and 2 children I checked my messages in case that I had booked wrong but I was right. I’d booked for 4 adults 2 children. I showed them the message and the girl wanted to then scroll the rest of the conversation which I thought was quite rude. They have not prepared enough afternoon teas. While they were running around sorting this we sat down like lemons. Not even so much as offered drinks while we wait to resolve it. All they could say is nothing can be done as no management are answering any phone calls or messages. The girls who were working couldn’t authorise any changes/refunds/discounts. So basically. They could do nothing! She took my details and said someone would contact me. Nobody has yet contacted me. I also have messaged the Facebook page and my messages have been read and ignored. Not even as much as an acknowledgement. Shocking service I get mistakes happen, however as I now have requested my money to be refunded as they couldn’t provided a service - is really unprofessional.

Absolutely stunning place. Had smashed avocado and egg on sourdough bread . Beautiful and such a pretty place with lovely staff.

We had a fabulous afternoon tea with my daughter and 2 year old grandson.

Beautiful place. Such a loving team of waiters and incredible chefs. Me and my family went for the wonka event and it was perfect. The atmosphere was just right, the music was neither too loud or too quiet. The food replicated the film perfectly whilst still staying delicious.

I meet a friend for lunch here every few weeks. Food always excellent, especially set lunch menu. Chef is amazing. The ladies working there are lovely and so considerate. Wouldnt want to go anywhere else.

Excellent April afternoon tea, couldn't fault anything. Special mention to Jess and Jane who were exceptional, nothing was too much trouble.

We were not an easy booking for afternoon tea, 4 different dietary requirements! But Sean and the staff accommodated for each of us without any question. We had a fabulous time, the staff are very welcoming and go the extra mile. The food is fresh, homemade and delicious, I will definitely be making a return visit and I overheard the other tables say the same. One recommendation is that you do book in advance, you will not regret it and have a lovely experience.

What can I say ! Totally satisfying evening , the staff were so friendly, the food was out of this world. Only 2 tiny criticisms the chips could have been done a bit more n crispier and the lemon tart was not lemony enough. But these are minor issues . Everything else in our 4 courses were amazing . Thank you all at number 600. See you again.

Went with my husband tonight for the evening fine dining menu.We ordered the pre dinner snacks to start and they were delicious. Every course was tasty and full of flavour.The staff,a young man and lady were extremely professional and friendly. We've been here several times for coffee,breakfast and afternoon teas but this was our first evening meal. Beautiful surroundings and a lovely ambiance as always. Definitely recommend to anyone wanting excellent food and perfect service.Thanks for a lovely night.

Had an amazing afternoon tea at No600. The best afternoon tea we've ever had.

Lovely atmosphere and food was nice, the staff were very friendly too. We had the chicken panini which was in a toasted baguette rather than a panini. My daughter had the cawl which she didn’t really eat because the meat was very fatty. We would definitely come again, but will try the afternoon tea next time because it looked delicious!

Had afternoon tea and it was the best I've had! Homemade pastries and cakes were delicious and warm! Staff were soo friendly and acommodating made us feel very welcome, will definitely return and recommend to all friends and family, thank you!xx

This place is a little gem! Right in the heart of clydach! The food is the best we have had in a very long time! Jess and Charlene were fabulous hosts and the food was amazing. We had a pot of tea for two in a delightful silver large tea pot and I opted for the cajun chicken panini with chips and side salad. My sister had the egg mayo sandwich with crisps and side salad. 10/10

Fabulous afternoon tea with friends. Tho scotch egg, sausage roll and savoury tart were warm which is a nice touch. Sandwiches really tasty and the home made cakes were excellent. The staff are very helpful and efficient. If you are thinking of booking please do so as you won’t be disappointed.

We had the 2 course lunch and it was beautiful, there was plenty of food and we both really enjoyed. The staff were very polite and friendly. The takeaway cakes were amazing too!

We had sean come to our house previously and it was fantastic. However, this meal at the restaurant was very disappointing. The service was top class with lovely people. The pre-starters were very average with the breaded cheese being the best but I’m amazed that the turkey croquette is deemed good enough to send out, dry and just bad. The belly pork starter was decent, the duck terrine was again, really quite poor and my wife only ate half, at a push. It was very dry and just very bland. My wife said the falafel was ok and I did enjoy the beef fillet which was by far the highlight, although the accompany pie was disappointing with soggy undercooked pastry. Desserts were again, ok. We ate half. We spent £110 and left feeling totally underwhelmed and would not return.

What a brilliant place for great food and service.

Had my baby shower here today and it did not disappoint. The afternoon tea was stunning, they accommodated dietary requirements and looked after my little girl really well. The staff Jade and Evan were so friendly. The decor and atmosphere was fab too.

I was really disappointed as many have said they have had a good experience. My friends' meals were ok, you can't really mess up salmon. Others who had chicken were told there was no chorizo as they hadn't had their delivery. I'd opted for risotto with vegetables. There was a delay so I was offered a free drink. When it came it was rather glutinous, not a hint of cheese and the vegetables consisted of 12 melon ball scoops of cucumber, a scoop of what looked like carrot which wasn't cooked, and onions. Would I bother to go for lunch again. Definitely not. I was also quite shocked to find that the toilet is outside and you have to go down some old stone steps to get to it whilst braving any inclement weather.

Such a cosy place to visit with a friend for lunch. There was plenty of options to choose from. I highly recommend the steak sandwich and a cake afterwards is a must! The ladies who served us were so friendly.

Blew my expectations apart. From the decor to the friendly staff, as soon as you walk in the front door you feel immediately taken care of. Me and my wife had pre-booked a autumnal afternoon tea, which consisted of an enormous amount of sweet treats, savoury delights, and perfectly crafted sandwiches, not to mention an endless amount of tea and coffee. Not only was the food plentiful, but the quality was the best I've had in a long, long time. I can't recommend this place enough, and it left an impression so sharp and so distinct that we immediately booked for breakfast the following week.

This place is outstanding! Communication via their Facebook page was quick (there is an auto response. However, they replied to my message within 30 mins). When you walk in, the atmosphere instantly relaxes you! The decor is qwerky, and welcoming. It's like nowhere you've been before, but it feels homely at the same time. The staff were extremely lovely and welcoming, and even though they came over to check on us, it wasn't too much (if that makes sense). The presentation of the afternoon tea was absolutely awesome! And the quality was phenomenal!! The flavours, the textures, and the portion sizes were absolutely spot on!! We can't wait to return to try other menu options!!

Afternoon tea was delicious and the staff were amazing

This was our 2nd time visiting no600, and for the 2nd time we thoroughly enjoyed! The first visit was for an evening meal, which was a complete change to anything else you see offered around, everything well thought out and plated, and things that in your own mind would probably never put together, yet it all works and is delicious! Make sure you get the scotch egg, because just wow! And the pre dinner snacks that came so well presented in a box with fancy smoke, it's all a treat to the eyes and pallette! Our second visit was for the lunch menu, which is a great deal at only £14.95 for 2 courses, and 2 well sized courses at that, full of flavour and beautifully presented! The staff are super friendly and the waitress even remembered us from only 1 previous visit (told you we would write a review this time 😉). We are already planning our next visit for afternoon tea! Look forward to coming back!

The team at No600 are absolutely wonderful. Nothing is too much. All of them make you feel very welcome. The decor is beautiful and it has a relaxing atmosphere. The afternoon tea was absolutely delicious. Everything was made fresh including scones, pastries and cakes. I am certainly going back. Parking can be a little tricky as it's situated on a main road but there is street parking available, just be sure to check signage. I highly recommend booking as they couldn't accommodate walk ins the day I visited.

Nice staff, nice place. Lunch menu of £14.95 for a starter & main looked promising, if a little limited with just four items on the starter & four on the mains. Unfortunately, we were then told that two of the mains were not available, though...

A delightfully quaint restaurant and pleasantly decorated. The restaurant dining area isn't large and the ambience is intimate. The food is well presented and delicious so well done to the chef. The pre-dinner snacks is highly recommended. Huge shout out to the waitresses who were pleasant, attentive and nothing was too much trouble for them.

This is a lovely little cafe with a very intimate vibe. I love the art on the walls and the decor in general, is very inviting and engaging. I tend to go here for coffee only though as although the menu looks good there are very few, if any, vegan options. Last week, I went for lunch with my granddaughter and I asked what vegan options they had as there were no options on the lunch menu and was told that I could have a vegan sausage roll but that it would take 40 minutes to make and they closed in an hour. I then asked if they could make me beans on toast (as they do breakfasts in the morning) and to be fair, they did make it for me but it would be good to have some nicer vegan options. The staff were very friendly and polite throughout my visit so whilst I wouldn't choose to go here for a meal, it's a lovely place to have a coffee and they always have oat milk.

Blown away by the food on offer and such a fair price for the quality and portions. The lamb cutlet pie was fantastic and I'd highly recommend it.

Treated to a birthday breakfast by close friends. Had the Sourdough, Avocado, poached eggs. The meal was ruined by the smashed Avocado which had either been taken out of a very cold refrigerator or a freezer, totally ruined the bread, eggs - yuk! Such total inattention to detail. This place is confusing. Visited in December 2022 and enjoyed an incredible full breakfast with high quality ingredients. Visited again in March 2023 and was told they don't serve meals in the day? No information on website to explain any changes. No menus or pricing guide on our table. Ordered two coffees and one bagel and only when we paid did we discover the cost, which was £12 (ouch). Nice decor and friendly staff, but for me personally, this was an unremarkable experience.

Came for afternoon tea today and wow !! The food was absolutely stunning homemade sausage rolls, scotch eggs, quiche and scones...with all the other food to boot . We had some much that we had to take it home...much to my husband's delight . The staff were fantastic and so attentive . Will definitely be back .
